    I have been a member for a number of years and always have a great experience. It's kind of like Cheers, all the tellers know your name and are great to work with. Any time I have had questions or concerns they have always been great to deal with.

    Absolutely ridiculous service. Recently switched to a 'new' system and changed over everyone's accounts without giving proper help. I have called for TWO WHOLE DAYS trying to get someone to answer the phone. All I keep getting is an AUTOMATED REPLY or a busy tone. Absolutely ridiculous that I have had no help accessing my account or activating my new card in almost a WEEK! They just won't pick up the phone!! Would give 0 starts if I could. Unprofessional and callous with other people's access to their livelihood.

    Clara, Sorry you had troubles when we converted computer systems. We did send information in the mail to notify prior to change but maybe we had a bad address for you? And we are very sorry that your calls were not getting through, we were answering the phones as much as we could but there was an increase of phone calls during that time. We hope we have been able to serve you better since then and again, we are truly sorry you had issues.

    NICCU is a full service financial institution. We switched our accounts from a large national bank and would never consider going back. The staff at NICCU cares to know their members and it shows!

    This bank is terrible. Been hounding me for years about payments though I’m significantly ahead on my loan, they don’t allow you to make a payment on their app or website with debit or credit cards and will charge you $10 to process a payment over the phone for a loan that your already paying interest on. Avoid this bank at all cost. Terrible service and the worst banking system I’ve seen at a bank. Go ANYWHERE else if you want a normal and properly functioning bank. This bank is horrible

Here is the link on our website where you can pay your loan by debit card ($5 fee) or with your routing and account number (no fee): https://niccu.alliedpayment.com/portalpay/app/?type=external OR go to NICCU.com and select "pay my loan" to see all of your payment options. We appreciate you paying ahead on your loan! While we used to allow loans to be paid ahead, our examiners now require us to notify the member if they have not made a payment as agreed upon in the their contract. It does state in our loan contracts borrowers are required to make a regular payment in order to be compliant with their loan. If you would like a copy of your loan contract, please contact any of our loan officers and they would be happy to assist you with that. We apologize if there was any miscommunication. It is always our mission to help all of our members in any way that we can, and that is why we send out notices as a reminder to make regular payments. If you would like a different payment schedule, please do not hesitate to reach out to us so that we can further discuss and resolve this issue with you. Thank you for being a member.

    My husband and I have been with them for over 25 years. Recently I deposited a large amount check. I deposited it before end of day on a Monday the teller told me that there would be a 10 day hold or once check clears on check. Didn't say anything about 10 business days. We were told 10 days later that we wouldn't be available to us until 15 after depositing it. I have allready received confirmation from the institution that sent it to me 2 days after depositing it. They have denied several loans for us even though we've had no problem getting loans threw other banks and even Chevrolet and ford. I think it's time for a change

    Hello Dorrie, I am sorry you had a bad experience with our check hold policy; sadly it is business days as that is how long some checks take to clear. The hold policies are in place to try to protect our members. We would be happy to talk to you further if you would be able to give us a call in the morning.     starting to open accounts at your credit union the staff has been great to me and the wife had a few things notarized and everyone has been very helpful in our requests will be doing lot of business in the future

    Flat out horrible customer services, website is worthless and debit cards do not work at niccu atm's.any questions I've asked it seems nobody has an answer....
