We love New Day USA! We previously worked with New Day USA to refinance our current home and it was such a great experience, which is why we turned to them again to purchase our new home. The staff is wonderful and very attentive to all of our needs making our experience as pleasant as our first one. The New Day Team from our Loan Account Executive, to the Home Buyer Connections Purchase Advocate, and our Underwriter, were very helpful, courteous, and went out of their way to make buying our home a seamless experience. Working with the personnel from New Day USA has been a wonderful experience. I dealt mainly with Morgan Wallace and Colin Hall. Both of these gentlemen were quick to answer questions whether by telephone, text message or email. They kept me in the loop for everything that was being done, if there was something that was said (written) that I didn't understand within a few hours one of these gentlemen would contact me with the answers to my questions. Terms that were used in the contracts that I later signed were explained prior to signing. As a veteran, I had troops that went above and beyond their duties. These were soldiers that I knew I could count on. I can describe both Morgan Wallace and Colin Hall as men who went above and beyond what I had expected. They are a great credit to themselves, their division and to New Day USA.

This company is not Veteran friendly as advertised. My father and I tried to get qualified for a home loan a few months ago. We are both vets. We applied to 4 different lenders. New Day is the only lender that refused the loan. They should stop the false advertisement. From the many reviews I have read about them, they seem to be just a loan broker, meaning that they don't actually service the loans, they just find you a lender and once the loan is closed your relationship with them is over. Because of our experience I could not recommend them.

Unfortunately we didn't have the best results with them. As we moved forward with our loan we were facing some challenges, but those challenges were made impossible to overcome as request after requests needed to fulfill the loan were always late and we were the last persons to find out. Even though some as some of those requirements were not legitimate as showing proof of residency at a state while as an active duty Soldier for an illegitimate state tax lien. The requests sent were not properly requested and when filed they were late filing. This cost me and my family to be out of pocket (Inspections) and after an extension loose the loan. The person contracted for the home inspection and appraisal was late submitting the reports and was incomplete and the requests to Ohio Attorney General were not followed through to clear us of the lien (filed wrongfully)

Called he listened to our concerns he tried to get us approved but unfortunately they were unable to they gave us other options that we can look into and he also took the criticism and he also took our suggestions and that's why I changed from one star to four stars thank you so much for giving us your time and doing everything in your power. ::::::: Original ::::::: My wife and myself had been trying to get a loan from them for years now 1st) time they said they weren't able to serve our community at that time. Ok I understand that 2) about a year later we try it again this time he said our credit wasn't where it needed to be okay got that they told us what to do and to get it up so we did the last couple times it was a little stuff the 3) one time which I was scratching my head we we're making over 150,000 a year they said we don't have enough income and 4) this last time which it was about 3 years after they told us we didn't have enough income they don't do mortgages on modular homes they should have told us right then and there the first time calling they don't even do modular homes so. don't waste your time they're going to find one thing or another to say no to he keeps saying we'll do everything in the power to help a veteran and so much for we don't want to hand out we need to hand up and they'll help us yeah right.

Everything was going well until it came to the 2-minute warning in the 4th quarter. When it came time to close, they all of a sudden needed to do employment verification and get information from my HOA. We had 6 weeks up to closing to make sure this was done, but they waited until the last minute. Then they are having trouble getting the information, and it took me asking for an update to find out they were having trouble. Once I got involved, within 24 hours they had the information they needed. It was one thing after the next for 3 weeks that I needed to get involved after asking for an update. There was a huge lack of communication from New Day. If you decide to do business with them, I highly recommend you ask for a status every single day, don't worry about being rude. It is better than losing time which costs money!! New Day still made their finance charge while I lost a few hundred dollars in interest charges.

My Cashout Refinance started out great. I was pleased with the numbers as well as the agent assigned to my loan. Everything that was asked from me was provided quickly as I wanted this refi done as quick as possible. I had an appraisal and pest inspection done with a different mortgage company and we were waiting for the transfer of that appraisal. Then 2 weeks later we were still waiting on the transfer. My agent told me that once its transferred we are basically done. I was calling and emailing asking what was the holdup and could we close sooner since there was nothing left other than the transfer of the appraisal? My agent then told me something that made me feel like I stole my own house. He stated "what's going on and why do you keep asking to close sooner is there something you need to tell me?" I told him no nothing is going on that I haven't disclosed. We got off the phone I felt like I did something wrong and was scolded for it. I did not hear or get an email from anyone in the company for at least a couple weeks. I really wanted nothing to do with this company after that. But the original closing date was approaching and I did not want to stop the 2nd refi due to bad customer service. We did finally close a week after the original 45 day closing date. My advice to any veteran looking for any type of refinance with any mortgage company "know your value, if you have a bad experience with any company, research find a different company and start the process again." You are a hot commodity in this industry because a VA Loan is extremely easy for any mortgage company. Almost too easy. As far as NewDay USA, that one comment had me researching other mortgage companies. But other than that I like the company and I will continue to do business with them. The next time I have a bad experience I will reach out to the supervisors again and let them handle the situation.

This place will only help Veterans if their credit is good and if you are climbing out of hell, they will just kick you back in. If you are unable to work due to injuries from your service, your retirement and VA payments are not good enough for a house for 5 people. Another site trying to get notoriety by "helping" veterans.

Horrible I was bounced around no follow through! I have very good credit and plenty of equity! They ran my credit and never got back to me! I am a former US Marine & Army plus Dept of Jutice. Veterans do not use these guys!

My son started to work for this company and after taking an exam that he passed and told he would be employed in early January. After numerous calls and emails they refused to get back with him! They mentioned his test was taken remotely; but hired his black friend that took the test the same way! I am a retired COL in the Army, this is a Racist non-ethical company! I really had a wonderful experience with New Day USA. AS a veteran refinancing my loan. I was really happy with and lucky to be able to work with Gabriel Tupper as my account Executive at New Day. Gabriel was right on top of everything and always answer my calls and always kept me informed of what was going on with my loan. I find it degrading and discusting that Newday USA runs commercials stating "no one deserves home ownership more than a veteran". How naive and appalling that this statement isn't frowned on by everyone. So Newday, a single mom with two kids, newly divorced and forced to live in a car deserves home ownership LESS than a veteran? A homeless man raising a child on his own is less than a veteran? You're discusting to make such a statement. I'm proud to be a Veteran of the US Army. I assure you I will never consider your organization for any home financing until you change your stance. What do you think we veterans fight for? We fight to make sure all Americans can enjoy the American dream. That is why your organization should remove all adds putting veterans above everyone.

We worked with Dan Black and he was awesome. The process took all of 2 weeks and I was amazed at how prompt he was in keeping us informed. I'd like to thank my executive assistant Labella. Everything that was discussed about this loan came to fruition. I happen to be very organized with my paperwork. I had all of the documents necessary to facilitate this loan. Because of that, everything fell into place. The only holdup I had was the termite inspection and dry rot work. The company I chose happened to be way behind on the repair work due to the covid-19 pandemic. With patience I waited until the work was completely done. The loan closed. The loan process with Benjamin Michael Marcus was excellent. Give the man a raise. The problem I had was having to cancel the first closing with the third party notary due to the notary being extremely late. I'm talking hours late on a Friday evening. I'm not a retired Admiral such as yourself. But a retired Chief Petty Officer's time is just as valuable.

Fantastic experience! Our refinance went incredibly smooth and closed faster than expected. The agents were very skilled and knowledgeable, making it a very stress free process. We started off with one agent when we thought we would like to do a refi with cash back. Then we changed our minds and chose to do a straight refi, so we were referred to another agent. Both were very professional, but also very nice and pleasant to work with. We did everything but the notary online. Everything was explained in depth, the agents were always available by phone or email and were super fast in responding to any questions we suddenly had after hours, and we were informed of what was happening throughout every step of the way never being left in the dark. Absolutely Outstanding Service and Highly Competitive Rate! I worked with Account Executive Matthew Arman from my initial call for information in early March 2021 through until Closing on 30 March. (Note that I spent two of these weeks evaluating all of my competing offers.) Matt was knowledgeable in every respect and discussed all of my options frankly and openly. He was always available and responded within 5 minutes of any message that I left for him. Unlike several other highly rated lenders, NewDay moved swiftly through the application process and used an online document portal to make it easy for me to upload signed, confidential documents. My Closing was conducted by a local notary affiliated with NewDay; like everyone who I encountered at NewDay, she was courteous, knowledgeable and thorough. To summarize, I know that I received the most competitive rate, had my monthly payment reduced by $450, and felt that the NewDay team, led by Matt, was actively working with me to rapidly arrange the best mortgage loan possible. I am a Vietnam Vet and thought New Day was for Vets based on their TV ads. I wanted to Refi my home and take cash out. I contacted 3 mortgage companies New Day was my first and they were by far the worst. The interest rate was higher, the increased total mortgage would have been $6000.00 more than Rocket and Loan Depot. Not the Vets friend they want you to believe, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

My experience was great! Everything went very smoothly. The communications was stellar, I knew what I had to do to provide everything that was needed from me to process this loan and meet all the deadlines. My agent Craig Burris was extremely organized and knew where to find the answers to all my questions in just a matter of seconds; from questions about my property legal descriptions to Deeds. He was much more than a loan originator and remained in the process and through the funding. I sincerely appreciate New Day's dedication to veterans, it's not just lip service. After previous negative experiences working with a major lender in attempts to secure financing for a new home (won't mention any names), I decided to reach out to New Day based on seeing the ad on TV (I figured, why not, lets see what they have to offer). I'm certainly glad I did! The conversation started with Karley Hodges reading me Admiral Lynch's mission statement! As prior military that really resonated with me. The experience was friendly, respectful, and amazingly painless. Before I knew it I was pre-approved, received an approval letter, and was shopping for a new home. Karley initially handled processing my information and getting my pre-approval taken care of, (Which I think I had within 24 hours!), and Marshal MacCartney handled my closing flawlessly. I keep seeing these commercials for NewDay USA and “helping veterans”…..it’s a pretty sad way to “just be another mortgage company broker”…we were mislead and ending up going to our Credit Union to get it done…this was about 1 1/2 years ago..they just want the easy mortgages and do ot follow up..they do give you another credit “ding”…but their ads and the way that they say “help vets” is pretty sad… A Proud Marine Vet 🇺🇸

There has never been a better example of "Bait & Switch". From day one, the loan I recently closed was presented and discussed as a 100% cash-out refinance. Less than a week before the scheduled closing, my account executive, Kyle Clayborne, informed me that we would not be closing at the agreed upon loan amount and that the loan would be limited to 90% LTV. This was just days after disclosures had been signed indicating a 100% LTV funding. Kyle admitted that there was an oversight on "their" end and the change was due to a miscommunication between Kyle and his underwriter. He never elaborated on what the "miscommunication" was. At this point, we were too far down the path to cancel the closing. I only called New Day due to their "100% cash out refinance" offer, and would have refinanced with a local bank or credit union if I knew the LTV would be limited to 90%. My interest rate would have undoubtedly been better with a local institution also. I am a retired Marine and would NOT recommend New Day to any fellow veteran. I'm left to wonder now if this "Bait & Switch" at the last minute is a common practice of New Day USA.

The interest rates are good but you’d better have a great Realator. Over the top corporate climate. I’m on speakerphone every time they call and the audio is garbage. I had two people as my points of contact witch didn’t make things smooth. They referred to their “team catching up on that”, often. A few extra corporate emails that were totally unnecessary. If they had followed a simple checklist of things the VA needs I would have been in my home weeks earlier. Never rude but corporate dismissive, knowing that it’s another “teams” problem and not theirs when asking about updates. Had extra call apologizing for dropped balls witch is nice but not as nice as never having it happen in the first place. I imagine the TPS report cover sheets are a bigger priority than getting your loan done smoothly.

Overall this is a decent financial institution that will meet your financial needs and requirements. What I will say as a service member of over 10 years of service and having to provide all my required documentation showing my service/employment just for them to question is ridiculous and disrespectful . It was almost as if they thought that I was not truthful to the matter. I provided two months worth of pay stubs and had to provide not one statement of service but two.. The closing documents were incorrect and it pushed the closing another week and thus delaying the funds later then they originally said!

I had been recommended by a retired veteran, a good friend of my wife. He suggested we check them out. I called they explained everything. My wife and I became more intrigued and after learning everything we started the process. In less than a month I lowered my APR by 2 percent, and lowered my payment by almost $300. NewDay USA refinanced my VA loan with a lower interest rate saving me $216.47 a month - $2,597.64 a year. The process went very smoothly via emails and phone calls as all required information was exchanged and all required paperwork requiring my signature was done so electronically via email. I had an assigned Agent come to my residence for the closing of new mortgage. I was very impressed with the timeline (less than a month from first contact to closing). I was referred to New Day by my father, a Navy veteran. He told me how easy the process was and how friendly the staff were. I looked into it, and made the call. The initial process took only an hour, and we were guided by a knowledgeable and kind representative. It was very painless. First, let me state everyone I dealt with was very friendly and I'm not certain the difficulties I experienced were their fault. I initiated the refi request O/A 15 July On 10 August I was contacted by a new loan officer that the previous loan officer had left the company. Twenty six days without any activity. 12 August I was told there was a lien on my property and the title company had resolved it. THERE WAS NEVER A LIEN ON MY PROPERTY! 18 August I was told the lien issue was not resolved. Turns out whoever was evaluating my loan was looking at a notice of intent to proceed on a renovation project that had been completed. Took three tries by my contractor to resolve it. 20 August I was told by my loan officer he'd be out of the office until 4 Sept. 3 Sept I closed on the refi O/A 8 September I was told I had to sign a termite inspection document 10 Sept I was asked to electronically send in my checking account and routing number for my financial institution. I complied 10 Sept after providing the information electronically, I checked to confirm they received it and was told the check had been mailed. 14 Sept. both my mortgage and HELOC were paid. This was anything but a timely action and I wish now I had never intiated the process.

IF I had known your rate would be the same as normal loans I would have gone that root. It would have saved me cost of water testing and insect. I was given companies to test the water from your agent, and after getting good results, your company stated they were not certified, so I had to do the test a second time getting the same results. Your statement of having lower rates is FALSE, or you bumped the rate so you made more money. I had gotten too far into your loan process to back out. The loan is finished, which I am happy about. Will I recommend NewDay? I am not sure about a positive recommendation.

There were no leading promises... interest rate and fees were precisely communicated and matched final disclosure. Locked-in interest rate within two weeks of process. Refusal to send escrow overage! What is it with these people? They agreed that our escrow account was $1,000 over, I requested the check in early may, they sent us a check that was supposed to go to someone else.... called back twice, they still have not sent me any money. This is completely unprofessional. This is how they treat customers! I'm filing a complaint with a state agency. AVOID NEW DAY USA UPDATE: I filed a complaint with an agency in my state that handles complaints against insurers and lenders. In less than a week, New Day USA wired me money. This issue has happened to other customers, if it happens to you, for a complaint!!!

Everything was going real good. After a couple changes in the closing date, we finally closed. I still have not received confirmation that one of the loans they were supposed to pay off, is paid off. I have reached out to the person I was dealing with (I can give his name if I need to) and for the past 3 days, with numerous phone calls and text, I have not heard anything back. I am beyond frustrated because this loan will go into default soon.

I would not recommend New Day USA. It seems they are only interested in working on loans that are easy to close. If you have any obstacles throughout your process, they will stop working with you. This is my experience with them: I applied in December 2021 for a VA Refinance to consolidate credit card debt and cashout. The Account Executive W. Maguire structured a loan program that I agreed on. I provided all docs that the loan processor and underwriting requested on the same day they asked. Whatever they requested, I provided to them that same day. The Account Executive working on my loan went on 10 days vacation beginning December 31, 2021 and said would return January 10, 2022. I never heard from him since. He provided his supervisor’s contact info Assistant Vice President C. Burris, so I reached out to him via email and phone to get a status update on my loan. He never returned any of my messages either. I never heard from either of them. Two weeks later, I receive notification from my Discover card credit monitoring service that my social security number was found on the Dark Web. I have had this Discover card for nearly 10 years with credit monitoring service and have never received that alert. New Day USA was the only new application I submitted in the last 3 years. So not sure what they’re doing to keep our information secure but obviously not a good job. I had to reach out to all 3 credit bureaus and have submitted a fraud alert so they are aware of any possible fraudulent accounts in the next 6 months. February 2022, I applied for a VA Refinance through Flagstar Bank. I just closed my loan this week. It turns out that because I had a loan modification done during the pandemic, I had to wait 6 months for the seasoning of the loan modification in order to do a VA refinance. The 6 month mark was March 2022. I believe the New Day USA Account Exec ran into that obstacle and decided to stop working on my loan so he and others on his team decided to drop my loan and ignore my messages. They didn’t even bother to notify me (assuming this was the reason they stopped working on my loan). This is why I don’t recommend them. They are flat out unprofessional staff. I don’t even know how they can claim to care and work for Veterans. I should’ve known better than to apply to a company that spam letters to my mailbox. Their reviews looked good, so I went for it. But now, reading the recent reviews, it appears that LOA, impromptu vacays, unable to contact anyone is a common theme. Be careful everyone, seems there are some shady characters at New Day USA, especially the loan team I had. I wouldn’t trust this company. I recommend Flagstar Bank, they explained everything they were doing throughout the whole process and made sure to answer any questions and just closed my loan as scheduled.

The good: helpful, communicative person that shepherded us through the process. The suboptimal: NewDay USA only does one thing: VA loans. They ought to have that process buttoned down tight. But we got to the week before closing and some part of their team suddenly came up with a brand new requirement: since we were on a community well, the well had to be tested for its ability to provide sufficient water. Fine, I understand the requirement, but why did it take so long to add that to the to-do list? It ended up pushing the closing date back a couple weeks because nobody at NewDay thought of it sooner... Also, other than a great advertising campaign targeting vets, nothing really made them stand out to me. My previous experiences using VA loans with other lenders was no less pleasant or successful, so I honestly can't give you a reason to use NewDay over anybody else. Call a few and compare rates; that's the only thing that matters once the loan is complete.

Horrible experience and worst customer service of any homebuying process or refinance we have ever done. Started the process in NOVEMBER with an agent named Jason who assured us the loan would go through when he presented all our options. VA appraisal came in lower than expected and we were instructed in how to do the Reconsideration of Value process through the VA. Took a couple days to think it over and decide to proceed…..cannot reach Jason through phone or email. Finally have a live agent re-direct us to his manager Kevin Lasek who informs us he has had to take a leave of absence. Fine, life happens. Kevin becomes our manager. Impossible to reach during the entire process except when he is able to return calls and emails after hours. Assured us the process was going smoothly. Have waited 6 weeks since the new appraisal was re-submitted with higher value. Keep getting told (verbally and in writing) that the delay is because the underwriting department is “understaffed”. Also repeatedly given times that communication would occur and it was ignored and the excuse of “he was out of office” was given. Any time I am out of office I am required to set email and phone notices to indicate this. Finally reached out to Kevin’s manager last night and was told the loan couldn’t be funded. He was unable to give any clear reason except for information they *already* had at the start of this process. Have requested a clear reason for why it wasn’t approved when we were assured it would go through…..still waiting on the call back. Stay away. Absolutely wretched customer service and my husband was treated like a second- class citizen.

I appreciate the kindness and attentative nature of the initial contact made with my loan agent. The issues I had were incredibly frustrating with the underwriter and closing department. Multiple occasions of asking for proof of, income, employment, etc... and when those were provided, even though I would grab exactly what was requested, they would change what they wanted the next day. It went on for a few weeks. That is not a smooth process. Similar with closing, sign all the documents and then multiple days in a row, have the documents send back for correction, one document at a time as opposed to finding the issues and sending it as a whole. Very exhausting. Ended up give, but I can't give a great review when the process is that stressful. To many it wouldn't be worth the time.

I am currently working with NewDay I started my process in December of 2021 and I rarely can get in touch with my rep. I tried calling the main line and was redirected to his line, I had to block my number to get someone else, which I expressed how I can barely get a response out of my rep they proceeded to redirect me to them! My estimated time to close was 29 Jan 2022 and I have asked for an update they needed W-2s which I provided and have not heard from rep in 7 days! Besides sending me an updated rate lock request which I said I have questions about and would like a call and have not heard anything , I called and texted. This customer service has been horrible if not resolved soon I will take my business elsewhere. Will update review when I have an update: update they ended up denying me cause my last year job history I moved around for higher pay which I told them at the beginning they just led me on til I complained, how did I get the mortgage last year no problem? Seriously ticked. We applied, that wasn't an issue. The issue started when our personal info from application was sold to third parties!!! Now our cell phones get at least 5 spam texts per day, sometimes more! Noone at NewDay "...knows what happened, it couldn't have been us". We had only applied with NewDay when these bogus texts started!!!! This is beyond disappointing and now we're completely screwed because our numbers are already sold and distributed. Yes, this breach of trust is the exact reason we walked away from completing the application process. Thanks for screwing phone numbers we've had zero issues with for the last decade.

They are not what they say they are. I have a credit score of 725 and they denied me a loan because of something that happened many years ago and when I explained it, they just said no. Very sad that a business like this can make up lies about helping veterans. I am a retired, disabled veteran and their was no reason to not approve a loan. I would not recommend anything they offer, they are in it for the money only and do not support veterans

I not happy with Newday usa. Called the back on October 2021. Said my credit score was short of the minimum score. Told me they would call back in a few months. They never did. I called them. They told me i still wasn’t at the new minimum. Why? Because they raised the minimum 20 points. I raised my score 15 points, 5 points over the last minimum requirement. I told them I changed my mind. Now 2-3 months later they call me 2-3 times a week. Don’t leave a messages. I’ve sent emails and voicemails asking the to stop calling, but they still do. Now I am really not wanting to refinance. Almost 3% rate and they are now requiring a minimum of a 700 score. That’s another 20 points in less than 2 months. I have a 1.75 fixed rate!! I don’t like games and Newday is playing them. Their tv advertisement are bs. They say they want to help veterans when actually they want screw us.

Don’t do it you guys. We have been fighting them for seven months now and with their switch over to a new servicing company things have been going sideways ever since. Now they want to foreclose. Beware, you will be talking to someone different every call and the left hand doesn’t know what the right is doing. You will get lost in their big shuffle. I suggest to stay local so you can do face to face when you have to. They say they are working for us veterans but it is all about the big guys at the top.

I had a wonderful experience with NewDay USA. As a Veteran purchasing a home, I was looking for a trustworthy lender, and I was lucky to work with Joe Hall as my Account Executive at NewDay. Joe was on top of everything, always answered my calls, and patiently walked us through each step of the way. My daughter was helping me with this process and since we weren't using a realtor or buyer's agent we had a lot more questions than the average home buyer might, but Joe patiently took our (almost daily) calls and was happy to answer anything he was able to answer. Scam Calls! I called new day USA because I trusted them when I saw them advertised on Fox News. I never expected that after my call I would get bombarded with scam calls and phone call after phone call from people in the same industry. It’s been going on for days and days. My phone rings constantly with scam call, scam call, scam call and it’s all after I filled out the online forms for new day USA. The calls have been going on for at least ten days and they began at 8 AM the next day after I called new day USA.

I do not recommend NewDay USA. I started back in December 2021 and all they do is sit on there butts and make you do all the work. I was pass off 3 times. They give you a low interest rate and than take there time so the interest rate will go up. I will be looking for a new company

Customer service is at an all time low and this is the fourth VA loan I have had throughout my 18 year career. Loan officer took an impromptu trip to Vegas while I was closing. Beware...before giving your social information and if you have been into bankruptcy and has been discharged for less than 3 years, let them know before hand! because they will not tell you that you won't qualify if you had a bankruptcy less than 3 years. they WILL do a hard credit check. Mine was over 700. They will deny you telling them before any credit check. Instead CALL Veterans United Home Loans Very honest and got approved in a breeze. Lesson learned...ND so desperate on advertising and that costed me credit points and in my view, distrust.

This was the easiest home mortgage process I have ever been through. Our account executive was very easy to work with. It did take a bit longer to get to closing than initially anticipated, but that was no fault of NewDay. Any questions were always handled in a timely manner... very good communication throughout the entire process. Just received an update from my previously filed refi and after speaking with the office that the request was submitted through found out that New Day dropped the ball requesting the information and attempted to submit a fraudulent request that was not followed through my Loan Officer Tom C. After 5 months and an extension we lost the loan because someone failed to do their job and no one will take responsibility.

Conflict between the appraiser, which New Day hired, and the underwriters, which were somewhere on the east coast caused this to be a very stressful situation. Underwriters said I lived in an area which requires earthquake straps on hot water heater and that my home was in an urban development area. Neither apply and the refinance took over three months.

1. It would have much easier to just receive "ALL" documents via digital. When you are moving, I am likely to have following on paper documents never reach me. Provide an "option" at the beginning to either make the choice of paper/digital documents. 2. I worked with several folks to clear matters with New Day USA. It would have been much easier to just stay with the one representative. I understand the command structure concept, but it would have been easier, to perhaps arm the first line rep with the ability's to work issues out. 3. I thought I was in conversation with New Day USA to lock in the mortgage rate of 2.5%. In the past you had the ability to "buy in" to lock in a certain rate. But this option was never provided. The ability to have purchased a house was not available quick enough to originally receive the 2.5% rate. Might want to see if the option "could be" made available to those who cannot otherwise get into the rate based on what "nationally" is taking place. 4. It was never made clear of the so called "charges" to the work being done with New Day USA. Not that I would have changed my mind to go to a new company. But perhaps tell us up front what to expect. 5. Even though I was in conversation with another lending company and they did not actually provide a "Loan Estimate" they did provide a "proposed" "loan" for our home. Which it did state that they could in fact provide a loan at the 2.5% rate with a buy in option. I provided this to New Day USA to I hoped - at least speak with me to try and do a better rate than the original 2.75% rate. In the end, New Day USA was not able to accommodate the option to get a better rate than the 2.75%.

Speedy, personalized service from start to finish. Another large lending institution took 45 days to ask for tax returns and then said another 60 days to finish...with a $500 downpayment! Less than 30 days from start to finish with NewDay. We are very satisfied with service and results...at .375% less than the other company!

Easy to close. Quick since I already had all the paperwork completed including the Appraisal and Inspections. Just don't expect to get any cash out money very quickly. Expect to wait about a week after closing. You don't get anything at closing, except told your money will be wired on XX day.

NewDay USA, is the real deal. I had seen the commercials many times and didn't think too much of it. They are very well done advertisements but after purchasing my home with the VA loan i had been bombarded with various lenders offering to refinance at the lowest ever rates. NewDay stands out with their various methods of outreach, an incredible record available to see online and an outstanding group of veterans that range from command leadership in all branches, this leaderships truly works hard for our community. It was the only choice. I had the honor of working with Mr. Pope throughout my process and it was absolutely incredible how hard he worked to get this done in a timely manner. Kyle was Awesome. Kept me informed during the whole process. He got me the greatest rate and gave us enough to pay off all the construction loans and a consolidation loan. They all had high interest rates as much as 24%. Now they are paid off, we can write off all the upgrades, Solar, Windows, New heating and Air, New Driveway, remodeled Bathroom. Were saving about 15 hundred in monthly Bill's and we can write off the interest now with the home loan. Best of all our house payment was almost 300 a month more than the old monthly payment. My refinance process ran like a well oiled machine. I applied on a Monday and closed on the following Friday, less that two weeks from start to finish! My account executive, Corey Nadelbach, explained the process and options clearly. Corey walked me through the application, got information and a couple documents from me and had me e-sign the application documents. I was approved almost immediately! Corey provided status updates throughout the approval to closing process. NewDay initially targeted mid-April for closing, but much to my surprise, closing was accelerated by two weeks. Notary was friendly and courteous, as well as mindful about my families safety with COVID-19 (Larry). It was probably the quickest/easiest refinancing I ever did on my home. Many fees are wrapped into the refinance process and you do not pay anything out of pocket, especially with a VA guaranteed home loan. Highly recommend you work/refinance with them. Overall I reduced my interest rate on my home to 2.25% from 3.5%, saving me around $34,000 in interest charges over the course of the loan. Very happy and glad I went through New Day USA.

NewDay USA contacted me by mail to apply for refinancing my VA loan at a rate 100 basis points below the rate of my then current 30 year fixed VA loan. I completed the application and was assigned a representative. Shortly thereafter the representative resigned from NewDay, and a new representative replaced him. I was uncomfortable with this and asked for a conference call with my new representative and Admiral Lynch. That call answered all of my concerns . The closing on my loan was then completed. All of the items promised were included. I had no cash expense at closing. Monthly payments, including taxes and insurance, are over $100 less than previously, and I can pay toward reducing principal and/or retire the entire mortgage at any time without penalty. Being an AF retiree and having just taken out a VA loan for the 5th or 6th time in December last year, we were thinking about refinancing. My first experience was very positive; however, I have contacted to REFI again after one year. The new agent was terrible – very aggressive – much like a time-share sales pitch. He was calling me daily, multiple times in a row. I am not going to do business because of this experience. They should have more oversight of the conduct of their employees.
