I would recommend Newcastle home loans to everyone! They aren’t your typical home mortgage company that you’re used to dealing with. They don’t have a 9-5 business hour schedule. They will call you at 9pm to work on your loan just to make sure your closing stays on schedule. My loan was a little difficult due to a past due car loan reporting wrong information but they got me approved and I closed on my dream home yesterday. Bob, Jim and their staff was such a pleasure working with. Thank you Jim and Bob for all your hard work and from the bottom of my heart I appreciate you guys! Bill Chu is an absolute savior! We had a horrifying experience with a different lender that caused us to file for multiple extensions. I reached out to Bill and he was completely transparent about our chances of approval with NewCastle which allowed me to put my complete trust in him even if it did not work out. We were a tricky and challenging case for Bill due to deadlines and pressure from the seller, but his expertise, diligence, and guidance helped us finally close. Never once did he give up on us even as we were nearing the deadline! Unlike traditional banks, NewCastle uses DocuSign and are very responsive to their emails and texts which made the process much more efficient! I just closed on my house through New Castle Home Loans. It was a long time coming as we were a month late past our initial closing date. With our appraisal coming in later than expected, underwriters taking their sweet time, and our closing packet arriving to the title company after we had arrived for our appointment, it was definitely a little stressful! It was our first home purchase and it was explained to me that despite all the hiccups, we still closed fairly quickly. I just wish it would have been communicated to me ahead of time that deadlines would not be made. Our closing date was pushed back week after week with promises continuing to fail. I know that they were super busy and that was brought to my attention many times. Bob was great and called me after hours on many occasions to explain what was going on with our loan. He was super informative and offered great insight on the buying process, I just think they were a bit overwhelmed with their work load as the market is crazy right now! Under different circumstances, I would be singing their praises as the team was so kind and attentive, but again, deadlines were not met. I was also receiving a lot of pressure from the seller to close as quickly as possible. I’m glad the home is finally ours and give a huge thank you Bob and his team (Billy & Sarah specifically) for being so nice and helpful.
