Do not do business with this company. They are unethical and unprofessional. I pawned by Chanel bag, paid all the interest fees and when it was time to pick up my item it could not be found. Roni assured me that if my bag could not be found he would buy me a new bag. Its been one year and I am still getting the run around. I called the office numerous amounts of times and the receptionist can never give me an answer. This is not unfair, I paid all the interest and owed them nothing. Then I found this article on the internet: The business is suspected of letting crooks fence goods, law-enforcement sources said. Owner Roni Rubinov declined to comment Sunday. The AG's Office did not respond to a request for comment, while the NYPD said the investigation is ongoing. That has nothing to do with me, I need to be compensated for my item. If I could give them NO stars I would! This company claims to be apart of the National Pawn association but lack the the positive and professional image of the pawnbroking industry.

I just want to take the time and say this has been the best experience ever. I never write reviews however I had to with New Liberty Loans. Everyone is so pleasant and caring about what you need. They listen and really try to give you the best possible deal. They also have worked with me on many occasions to fit my needs. I will always do right by them because they have been so good to me when I really needed it. I am so grateful to have found them. They are truly the best place to go if you need some help. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable regarding the merchandise and market price, I complement the service and attention to detail And how the transaction was managed in a quick and efficient way. The absolute best pawn shop I've ever dealt with! I went through a horrible time where I had Jewelry in several pawn shops. New Liberty never gave up on me, never sold my stuff. The girls in the office always called and tracked me down even through times where my phone was off or my number had changed. After over 2 years my financial conditioned improved and I was finally able to pick up my jewelry. It was all there in pristine condition and the owner himself went to the vault to retrieve it and deliver it to me. I was unsure of going to a pawn shop but I really needed the cash. I read the reviews here on yelp before going to New Liberty Loans. Roni and Ryan really live up to their reputation. They both genuinely care. They take their time with you and explain everything. They will get you the most they can with low interest. They make you comfortable and don't pressure you. You have to be assertive and go right up. There are guys outside from next door, they want you to go to their store. Ignore them. I am sure glad I did my research and I assure you Roni nor Ryan will ever take advantage of you. Most genuine people I ever meant! I can't thank you guys enough!!!!

I have been their customer for more than 5 years, it is always an awesome place to go when you need to borrow some cash to cover school expenses, etc etc, their staff is very professional and go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. They have always been super fair with their metal prices, and every time I pick up my pieces they are exactly as I left them (which is always my biggest concern when leaving them on loan). I wished I had more pieces just so that I could come back!! I called in advance to get a sense of the service that id be provided with and I felt at ease enough to follow through and it was even better upon entering. The staff was reassuring and gave me more information about the process and pointers on how to buy authentic pieces in the future. Also prices that were quoted were genuine and sensible. I really don’t write reviews but seeing as how anxious I was about the process I feel that a review was the least I could for such great customer service. This is how it should be done!

I googled a pawn shop near midtown in my area . The diamond district .... I never been there. To be honest , my first impression , I thought it was very shady! There’s people hustling , pulling you all directions to make a purchase or sell your jewelry . I told one guy who approached me that I want a loan, not to sell . Bam ! He took me upstairs to a shady building lol I’m like oh lord what am I doing here ... and it was probably the BEST spontaneous shady thing I have done since my college years! Liberty loans is the way to go ! It’s not like other pawn shops I promise ! They educate you on your jewelry. They told me what grade my diamonds are , what cut they are , the different levels of diamonds there is .. I mean the customer service was impeccable. Very very friendly and well trained . I was so impressed that it left a memory for me that was enjoyable and I told all my family members what a great experience I had . Pleasure doing business with you 😉 will be back again for sure . Chicken wings on me next time😉
