Dear Mr. DeWitt: Thank you for your your comments, and we certainly apologize for longer than usual lines in our drive-thru due to the pandemic. However, our offices are by appointment only (not fully closed) and such notifications are posted on all doors and website. With that said, those same posted notices contain a phone number to reach someone inside for emergency lobby needs without an appointment. In some cases, we are able to accommodate with a short wait in vehicles until such time an office can be cleaned between members. Also, our Midtown branch is the ONLY branch currently that is fully open with lobby and drive-thru, although appointments are still encouraged due to social distancing restrictions within the lobby area and cleaning. So, I am not sure which branch you may be referring to that you did not see any posted information. Please email us back at [email protected] so we can know to make sure that branch's sign is more conspicuous. With the pandemic, offering face-to-face service is challenging, but we are performing this in the safest manner possible for both you, the member, and our staff. If our staff gets sick, this only delays service further with limited personnel - so hopefully, this sheds some light and will encourage you to change your rating.
