The people at New England Home Mortgage were helpful and easy to work with. However, Connecticut is one of those states that require attorneys to engage and close the real estate sale. I can say the attorneys were very difficult to work with as their communication was poorly timed and incomplete. Also, they seemed unaware we as buyers were out of state and made responding to their requests difficult at best. I would recommend to the real estate and mortgage people in CT to get rid of the need for attorneys in this process - many states have already.
