The assigned loan consultant was unprofessional. She showed no interest in the business and not put effort in what she was supposed to do. Since the first conversation, she asked us to provide her with a loan estimate that we got from other lenders. After several follow ups, she finally gave us a “cost sheet” with the rate way higher than what she told us over the phone. Considering my experience, I do not recommend this company to my friends and family.

Be cautious of this lender. Credit karma recommend this lender so I input my info. Next morning they were blowing up my phone nonstop while I was sleep. Talked to a guy named Landry stau b later that day. I was at work and wasn’t able to talk. We scheduled a call for 12:30 pt same day. He didn’t call till 1 so I waited on a call for nothing. I wasn’t able to speak at 1pm so we agreed we’d speak at 12:30 pt the next day (today). No call received at all today. I wasted an entire hour waiting around and stepping away from work. If this is how they treat potential clients, then I don’t want to work with them. Be cautious of poor communication from here.

Bob Bachman had previously helped us receive two separate loans when we purchased two rental properties over the past seven years. So now with interest rates so low we went to Bob again to see about refinancing five investment properties and our primary residence. He did so and the total costs will be recouped in less than three years. He promised and delivered on his promise. Bob has a great staff that really communicated with us. In addition Sarah with Fidelity Title is top notch to work with. We would say that if you are looking to purchase or refinance your property then go talk to Bob Bachman with New American Funding. Working with Jeff was seamless. Jeff was highly recommended to us when we were looking to refinance our home. He and his staff were incredibly efficient and helped to make the steps proceed quickly. Normally it's such a pain to gather all the information but Jeff worked directly with our accountant to lessen our paper gathering. I would go above and beyond to recommend Jeff to my friends! Bob, Lisa and Athena are great. Buying a home in the Bay Area can be very stressful especially when you buy the house of your dreams before you sell your current home. The part that makes them more amazing is we did not know we were going to do this two months ago. They were able to get us through the process and by some miracle we were able to qualify for the down size house we wanted. They are very on top of the information that you need to supply and they are very supportive and understanding when things get a bit frustrating with the banks. In the end we got the loan at very good rate of interest. I am a happy to say we closed on our new home in Willow Glen and just got an offer on our home in Almaden. Thank you Bob, Lisa and Athena.

Sally is simply amazing! We had a great team of people we worked with. Our realtor was great and I can’t say enough about Sally! We had so many obstacles and she was with us the whole way. I could not imagine going through this process with anyone else by our side. We are now in our new home and we owe a lot of that to Sally. Thank you so much Sally. As first time homebuyers, we had a lot of questions about our rate, type of loan, estimated monthly payments, closing costs etc. But throughout our home buying journey, Bob always made himself available to answer all of our questions. Bob always took the extra step to make sure that we understand everything and feel comfortable with the documents that we were signing. All in all, we had heard a lot of stories about the loan proces being tedious and slow. But for us it was a very smooth experience as we always had Bob and his team there to help us.

Exceptional experience with the folks at New American Funding when working on a loan for our new purchase. Joe, Jim and Brenda were extremely professional and communicative. The process of acquiring a loan can be very tedious, but they walked us through step by step, did many document signatures electronically and even set up our final document signing on a Sunday to work around our work schedules.
