Jennifer Toomey with New American Funding should be your first and only call when needing ANY mortgage financial services! What made our experience great was Jennifer and Allison Wood. They were on top of everything and had constant communication with us from day 1. When I called with a question they always answered, never had to leave a voicemail. I truly can't think of how they, Jennifer and Allison, could have made our experience any better.

Jennifer Bryant is a fantastic loan officer! She was pleasant, helpful, and honest. Jennifer is always available to answer questions, even on her day off! I highly recommend her to others looking for a loan officer they can trust.

I had to educate this organization on how Veteran Home Loans work. I even had the VA call them on multiple occasions to walk them through the process. The communication was the most problematic. At near a week till closing date we found out that New American had did nothing to secure all the paperwork in order for us to close on. Essentially they allowed us to shop for homes with nothing done and no understanding that they dropped the ball. One of the worse experiences I had to endure and it only got worse trying to process the first mortgage payment. Don't count on this company to notify you via phone or email that there is a problem with your payment account before they saddle you with fees. If you're using a VA loan, stay far away from this lender, just stay away from this lender period. Right now I'm praying for a way to get someone else to manage this mortgage.

My wife and I were very happy with the service we got from New American Funding. Jennifer and the rest of the team handled the processing of our home loan very professionally and smoothly, and were great about answering the questions that we had along the way. Highly recommended!

Jennifer and her team were so easy to work with. They were all so polite and professional and would answer any question I had without making me feel like a nuisance (which at some points, I'm sure I was!) Thanks to her and the team, we now have our dream home! Greatest lenders there are!

I wouldn't say stay away in general, as there are great and knowledgable people that work there, but avoid working with Nicole. She did not keep us informed at all. Told us a week before closing that we needed to pay an additional $1,000 at closing. Then the next estimate of additional funds was $475 dollars and that she was working to lower it and it absolutely would not go up. She called the next day to say "actually you have to pay $550 additional, sorry I couldn't get it to go down". I had to call the office manager the night before closing who ultimately had to call the regional manager to get back to my original closing amount. My closing was at 10am. Nicole said at 9:30 the closing packet would be sent in the next 30 mins. At 10am said they'd be sent in the next hour. They ultimately weren't sent until after 11am. I was late to meet the movers, ultimately costing me another $45. Do NOT work with Nicole.

Didn't have the best experience with them. My husband contacted them in February 2019 regarding obtaining a home loan. The woman we spoke to was okay as far as customer service. I felt as though she wasn't really interested in helping us. After my husband initially spoke to her, she never contacted us again. We decided to work with a different mortgage lender which approved us the same day.

Jennifer was great!! If I had questions or didn’t understand anything, she or her assistant Alison were quick to get back with me and answer or explain what I needed! I will definitely use them again should the need arise! Thank you!!!
