Dan Gilman was a pleasure to work with. He was always patient with us and all my questions and actively looking out for our best interest. This was my third house transaction with the most hurdles and I was glad to have him on our side and had the best experience with a lender yet. He helped us brain storm ideas and ran scenarios over and over for us and our finances. I felt confident we were in great hands and he was very transparent about the whole process. Work with Dan! You won't regret it. I will be recommending him and his team to everyone I know.

Joe and his team at Cornerstone Home Lending made the entire home purchase process so easy for us as first time home buyers. They worked fast to help us close in under a month and I couldn't be more happy with the level of attention they gave us. Joe always made himself available for question even after office hours and during his lunch breaks. I would recommend them to anyone, especially first time home buyers. Thanks to Joe and his entire team that made our house purchase possible.

They sold my mortgage to Flagstar which jacked up my escrow account. Now I'm receiving late payments from my insurance provider.

Jeff M. Was a recommendation from our realtor & was fantastic to work with throughout the home lending process. Their electronic forms made it easy to apply, and Jeff kept us informed along the way. He answered the many, many questions I had with great patience & professionalism. Would definitely recommend!

Loved working with Beth at Cornerstone. She was so helpful interacting with our realtor and chasing down documents, moving things along at a good pace, and providing regular updates.

Mike Valenteen and his team were awesome throughout my entire loan process! There was very clear and concise communication so I always knew what was needed of me. Overall this was one of the smoothest and easiest mortgage processes I’ve ever done. I’d have no hesitation to recommend Mike and his team! A+

Jeff and his team were amazing! From the very start, Jeff was so patient and available to answer all the questions we had as first time homebuyers. He laid everything out so clearly and made the intimidating loan process a breeze! He updated our numbers every time we were interested in a home so we would know exactly how much our monthly payment would be to the penny. He reached out individually to selling agents to let them know we were prequalified and ready to pull the trigger which made us more competitive buyers in this crazy market. Overall I would recommend Jeff and team to anyone looking to refinance or buy a home!

Dan and his team are easily the best lenders in South Denver. We've used them three times now and had an absolutely A+ experience every time. There's no reason we'd ever go anywhere else and we are very thankful for all of the great help and assistance they have provided. Cannot recommend enough.

I have waited a while to make this post because I wanted to cool down from the situation just to provide a clear reason to why I'm giving a low rating. First off I will never do business with this company ever. They put me and my family in a very poor situation, especially after. We fell out of contract the day before we were going to lose our earnest money because of my job (according to the people we discussed). Now my problem was the lack of communication and poor handling of the underwriter involved. They took several days to inform us about an issue regarding my job, and the only reason they said anything was because we contacted the loan officer first to ask a completely unrelated question. Then did it again for another couple of days. The other problem was the insane amount of hoops I had to jump through and it was never ending. No one was honest with us and told us upfront everything we needed to do because if they had we wouldn't have gone through with this process. Ever. So now I'm in a very awkward situation. Regardless, there was an extreme lack of upfront honesty and even worse a lack of time management that really hurt us. More so time management was our issue, and the fact that the underwriter would never reach out and make timely communication with us, we could have resolved a lot much earlier in the process. I want to add a personal note, only because this is simply my opinion of the situation. I believe the underwriter was mad that my company told her to leave them alone and not contact them again since they answered all and maybe more than the necessary questions and they persisted in a way that infuriated my company. Either way, she was lazy and didn't communicate effectively (if at all) and then I am certain she called it quits when she poked around for more than she needed. Just my opinion though. *small edits have been made, I mistakenly wrote loan officer where I meant to write underwriter. The loan officer was nothing short of helpful, kind and worked with us the whole way through. I've corrected it now to reflect layout of events and people involved. Additionally, I need to include that my job is as a traveling contractor, and other people that I know who do the same thing are experiencing similar issues.
