I met Haydee while looking for a wedding band for my fiance..I ended up getting a ring custom made in 14k white gold with the help of Haydee, Betty and their on site jeweler. The ring was made in time for my wedding which was less than a month away. Definitely recommend coming here. They're absolutely Amazing. The jeweler Did such an amazing job my new husband flaunts his ring at work.

My friend Sandy recommended this place the first time I went to have fixed my ring I love the work they did very friendly customer service so I decided to go back but this time Jason and Betty where having a bad day both where rude and after I left they called me to let me know about an issue with the ring I asked a few questions then Jason told me that they haven’t done any work to the ring if I want I could go back and pick it up but I still I left my ring because I know they do a good work and I can trust them.

If I could give zero stars I would. I used to go to this pawn shop often in the past to sell or pawn jewelry. Today I had a Ion Bluetooth speaker my ex left behind that I wanted to sell. Well, this guy I've never seen before asks how much I want for it, I say I'm not sure how much it's worth and he proceeds to ridicule me pointing around the store at other speakers and telling me to figure it out. When I tell him I am looking for $50 he then proceeds to look up the speaker. WHY RIDICULE ME FOR NOT KNOWING THE VALUE IF YOU WERE GOING TO LOOK IT UP ANYWAY? He then proceeds to tell me it sells "brand new" for $40, so he will give me $15. I left. I later looked up the speaker - it sells for $159 new on amazon. This guy, from Facebook it looks like his name is Alex - 40s, White, black hair, working today around 3:30 - is extremely rude, a liar and a scam artist. I will NEVER go back to neighborhood pawn. It was a great place to go when Rob Hammond or the guy with lighter hair and glasses were behind the counter. They were honest and respectful in their dealings, and would help you value things fairly. I don't know if this guy is racist like a Yelp reviewer suggested, or if he saw a woman he assumed was poor or could be taken advantage of, but as an attorney who has lived and worked in Monrovia for years, I expect better.

cant ask for a better place! Staff is so helpful, kind and patient. Under such difficult times they really do their best for you. So thankful for Neighborhood.

This is my favorite pawn shop. The staff is very friendly, and helpful when it comes to customer service. They also do there best to meet the customers needs. The shop is very convenient. If you can't make to shop and need to pay the interest on items you have the option to pay over the phone with your bank card. So awesome!

I have been living on Monrovia for over 10 years love the city. This pawnshop has always given me the best prices on items sold or pawned. Alway willing to help in these hard times.
