We used Archie Vetter of Neighborhood Loans to buy our dream home last month and he was outstanding! We never had a doubt that we would use Archie once we decided to make a purchase. He came highly recommended from our realtor and is a top lender in the area and has a wide range of knowledge and experience which we could utilize. Archie and his team at Neighborhood Loans stood out as the best of the best: they were organized, efficient, responsive, and familiar with the area and market trends. We spoke with Archie initially and then he spent hours answering our questions, providing objective local market data, providing infinite info on how to navigate the complex lending process especially in today’s market. His team made sure our forms were completed and submitted in a timely fashion to meet our close date and they communicated with our agent, our attorney and anyone else needed to make our mortgage and the purchase happen. He walked us through every step of the process from start to finish and we could reach him day or night, weekday or weekend if we needed something. It couldn't have been a more pleasant experience. I've recommended Archie Vetter and his team at Neighborhood Loans to everyone I know. He's a true professional and a genuinely nice person. I hope we stay in our house for many years to come and don’t need his services again for that reason but if we do make another purchase, we will certainly only use Archie . I think you'd be hard pressed to find a better lender.

I worked with a person named Richard who was terrible. He barely communicated with me at all after pulling my credit reports. I asked for him to pass my information to someone else who would be better at communicating with me but he did not respond. I am looking at other lenders and feel he should be fired for pulling my credit and never getting back in touch with me. If I could give zero stars I would.

I am selling my home to a buyer who has financing/preapproval with Neighborhood loans. My agent vetted the buyers financing with Jorge Flores Team at Neighborhood Loans. Everything looked good and the buyers were eager to close by 5/12/21. We signed a contract for the sale of our home on 4/8/21 to be closed by 5/12/21. The inspection was completed 4/9 and appraisal 4/23. The appraisal was sufficient for the sale. The financing is conventional. On 5/8/21 the sellers agent requested an extension until 5/19/21 or sooner due to Neighborhood Loans needing additional processing time. We agreed to this. Prior to that extension expiring the seller’s attorney requested an additional extension due to the need for more documentation. My attorney reached out to Neighborhood loans to clarify what the discrepancy is. They advised that the borrower needed to provide some sort of documentation to them for final review by 5/14/21. They made it seem like it was not a big deal. They would not specify what it was or anything except that they expected it by 5/14/21 and would notify my attorney as soon as received. As of 5/18/21 my attorney has reached out to Neighborhood Loans and they have not responded. The communication has been very poor and it feels like we are being held hostage. To make matters worse we are purchasing a new. home that’s contingent on the sale of our current home and it appears that no one at Neighborhood Loans is responsive or cares. We had multiple offers for our current home but if I knew what I know now I would not have signed a contract with a buyer that has financing with Neighborhood loans. We have done everything possible as a seller to make sure to close timely but we are being given the run around at this point. We understand circumstances come up but to continue to push our close date back with no real explanation is just unacceptable. Sellers beware if you have multiple offers and want to close timely DO NOT chose buyers with financing from this company.

I had the pleasure of working with Tony, Sonia and Traci. Tony was great. I think Sonia was new to the process but she was very responsive with questions and answers. Every concern I had was met head on by Tony and Traci. Traci was phenomenal! Traci called me while she was home not feeling well and still went far and beyond to get things set correctly. Could not have asked for a better result. I know reviews can be a bit weird. Nobody can please everyone all the time. With Tony's team I can't see how you could be disappointed. Thank you guys so much for what you have done for me and my family. Your time and efforts are very greatly appreciated.

What a great company! I worked with Greg Pusch and I couldn't have been more happier. He explained everything through the process was transparent, knowledgeable and quick to respond to all my many questions. He was also was very experienced in dealing with IDHA loans and gave me great resources and options to explore before we decided on the best loan for me. Also when I ended up closing the title company mentioned that Neighborhood loans always has the most clean paperwork compared to other mortgage companies and made the closing much quicker. Again I would recommend them over any of the other companies!

Brian Benton and his team was absolutely amazing. I would give them 10 stars if it was possible. He guided me through the process from start til finished. While tackling most problems that came up without even having to worry me. I will recommend him to anyone thinking about a home loan. EXTREMELY SATISFIED CUSTOMER.

My husband and I are first time home buyers and Michael made this transaction smooth and painless. From the first phone call to even after closing day, Michael was there with his positive energy and knowledge. He was never condescending in any way, shape or form and treated us like we've been friends for years. He's professional as well as all the staff in his office but also has a calmness to him that puts your mind at ease through what can be a very stressful process. I applied for a Mortgage loan. I provided all the information which includes sensitive information. I let ex loan officer know that my application is complete on april 20th. After following up 3 days later, he emailed me back on April 23rd saying he would review and get back to me. Today is April 29th, now i understand people are busy. However, i also appied to BMO that same day and they got back to me the next day. What makes me rate them low is the lack of interest in helping me apply for a loan. I also exposed myself to potential data leaks because i provided neighborhood loans with sensitive information which they absolutely did nothing with my application process. I really hope they are not exposed to data leaks in the future. I dont recommend doing business with them. Very disappointed with them. They were my first choice. It definitely left a sour note purchasing my first home. Im glad i went with another mortgage company.

My experience with Neighborhood Loans was absolutely awesome. Andy O'Brien was an absolute professional when it came to getting my mortgage done. He was thorough with all his paperwork which made it extremely easy for me. He got me a great rate with no hidden fees. He is a man of his word. What he said to me in our first conversation he fulfilled. I can only say one thing more. If you don't go with Andy O'Brien you are definitely wasting time and effort going anywhere else.

Excellent team to work with led by Michael Bencks. I refinanced a mortgage and on their end the process was painless. Super helpful and friendly, and most importantly very quick to respond to questions/requests. Once the closing was scheduled it went super smooth and the rate was great. Not only has Neighborhood Loans and in specific my loan officer, Matt Rosen been absolutely fantastic on my own loan, they have serviced my real estate brokerage and law firm's deals for several years. They are absolutely the first company myself and my agents turn to for lending purposes. Honest, professional, and when they say a loan will get done, the loan gets done. The best in the business without a doubt.

I can't say enough about how well the folks at Neighborhood Loans treated us. The team there is highly knowledgeable and they take the time to explain things thoroughly. Plus they are very responsive to your phone calls and/or text messages. The rate on our loan was a bit higher than expected but that's due to our debt ratio. I really wish I could give zero stars... I hate leaving bad reviews but my experience with Neighborhood Loans has been a nightmare. After closing on our house a year ago my partner and I are still dealing with issues due to Neighborhood Loans' lack of responsibility and competence. Let me try to sum up our experience.. 1. During the closing process we have received the wrong forms with other people's extremely confidential information (address, social, full name) 2. My partner had to resend his information/forms several times because our loan officer apparently could not find the email. 3. After closing (we are first time home owners) we never received our first mortgage statement. I had to reach out and apparently our loan officer had put our old apartment's address on our loan account! I cannot begin to describe the frustration with this issue... Even though the account showed the correct address, our mortgage company insisted we were in the flood zone and were charging us extra for months. To get our loan officer's attention on this issue, my partner had to copy a VP in an email and even then Neighborhood Loans neglected to fix the problem they created for 4 months! Not only did we have issues with our insurance, apparently our property taxes were being paid to our old apartment. I understand that the mortgage company has serious disconnect on their side, but Neighborhood Loans has written us off and neglected to take action on multiple occasions. We trusted them that they fully took care of this situation, but we were extremely let down and left incredibly frustrated by their lack of attention and competence.

Amazing service! We just refinanced our home with Dan Salameh as our loan officer, the same person we purchased our home with in November 2019. The process was very straight forward with no hiccups along the way, and Dan was always there to answer our questions promptly throughout the process.

We couldn’t be happier with our lender. Greg Pusch went above and beyond to help us understand everything and was always available for anything we needed. After looking for a home with some unsavory lenders that lied about rates or closing cost it was a breath of fresh air working with someone as honest and hardworking as Greg. Michael and his team were great! They got me comfortable with all of the particulars of taking out a home loan. They worked to make sure everything was done so that the closing happened on time. They kept my wife and I informed of everything throughout the process and alerted us when documents needed to be reviewed and signed off on. They also gave us a good referral for our home insurance since we didn't have that at the time. I'd definitely recommend working with Michael if you are in the market for a mortgage broker.
