    We had to use this title company to sell my mothers home. The poor communication, the added hoops that we had to jump through and the core office management is just simply inexcusable. Despite drafting documents such as power of attorney they gave us the right of the authority just signed my parents documents, Nebraska title insisted upon a letter whereas my parents had to step down from their trust. This is a necessary step had to be completed in a hospital room while my mother was on oxygen at the age of 93. Emails and telephone calls to both the Lincoln and Omaha offices took days to respond, and when they did respond communication was not directly with me it was with third-party participants. Finally on signing day, while my mother is dying in the hospital, they had all the documents spelled incorrectly.

    They need to triple check the closing documents and catch mistakes before asking the seller/buyer to sign. If I were not an experienced seller/buyer, I would have lost money due to erroneous mistakes. Their communication with me was not very good. They never asked or told me that the buyer (I was the seller) never delivered the earnest deposit until 2 days prior to closing. They also need to be better at scheduling. I arrived on time for signing but the person was still in another meeting. I waited for like 15 minutes then the receptionist had to call another person to meet me. On the other hand, I highly recommend Steward Title, only a 3-person team, nevertheless very efficient, knowledgable and accurate.

    I found a mistake in there figures it was the computers job to carry the figures down. and it didn't. Dont you think someone should have caught that?

    Need to check the documents before having buyers sign. One of our names was missing on the document. None of the staff came ti closing day. Document was given to our agent to bring It to signing. Their reason for not attending was because of covid pandemic and they don’t leave the office. Left voice mail, but did not get a return call.

    Extremely difficult to get a call back or a reply to an email. At closing, a price was mistyped and a date was incorrect, so I'm wary of what other errors may be lurking. I'll likely try another title company for my next property transaction.
