Navy Federal Credit Union Main St, Highland Falls

I am a powersports dealer, we accept bank checks all the time. This bank issues checks that you must fill in and enter a code that they provide over the phone at the time of purchase. I have now had 3 checks bounced from them saying they cant read the checks scanned and sent from my bank. I have copies of the images, they will not let me email them. After this last experience of them bouncing the check then calling and having the only helpful person explaining how to correct it. I did as per her instructions..... Then it bounced again i called and spoke with 3 people now none explaining how we can resolve it, and even better they can ever get a manager or boss on the phone? I will find a way to hopefully get the member to resolve this(praying they do the right thing) and never accept bank checks from them again. All phone associates are polite and kind, but have 0 knowledge of how to resolve problems or know who their boss is.

Such a wonderful and peaceful experience in this navy federal. I was having a rough time with things with my account and the customer service line couldnt seem to help me. I drove over an hour to get here and they made every bit of my drive worth it. Sarah was warming and such a help. I feel great about being a navy federal member once again. Thank you!

This bank and especially the banker oragussa ..forgive my spelling ..had gone above and beyond to help us and find solutions when no one else would. We are grateful for their help and hope the other branches are similar

Like every other aspect of Navy Federal... OUTSTANDING! The staff here went out of their way help me with an unusual situation involving an auto loan. When the dealership didn’t want to accept a check with the word ‘draft’ included on it, Navy Federal worked their magic to make it all happen. I very much appreciate their time and effort. This branch looks immaculate and every person I spoke with was professional and kind. I’ve been an NFCU member for over 21 years, and ditched the other bank accounts years ago when I realized NF has everything I’d ever need with the best customer service out there. Thank You!

Bad experience with their mortgage people. As a long time member I called to refinance a mortgage. First the people at the call center were confused and sounded poorly trained so they could not get me to the mortgage dept, when I finally reached someone there they told me to go apply on their website which was a pain by itself. I was contacted a few days later and they said they will send my mortgage paperwork in the mail to review. When I received it I saw that the numbers didn't seem right so I called to find out why and was basically told to sign and return paperwork ASAP otherwise the proposal will expire. I said I was going to have my attorney look it over and I will get back to them but suddenly in a few hours the woman called me and said they have decided not lend to me!!! NFCU has become a joke lately, I've heard many horror stories from Vets. The worst part of this was that my credit took a hit by their inquiry.

Exceptional service from the entire staff, the are eager to assist. A very positive atmosphere and satisfied with every transaction made with this institution.
