Navy Federal Credit Union Lee Hwy, Fairfax

There should be a serious investigation with this branch. Racial Discrimination when minorties deposit large checks. If you have a cashiers check or check over $5000 and you are a minority "DO NOT GO TO THIS BRANCH"! I have been a member of this credit union for years. Yes, I left and went to my 2nd credit union and deposited without any problem or unprofessional attitudes. I heard the rumors from one of my work places near this branch, but did'nt have time to risk driving to my normal branch because I had a flight to Italy in 5hrs. But, in order for me to travel and know my money was safe, I left , risked time to drive further from the airport and deposit the check safely and securly in my other credit union account. I know the investigation results found will cause termination of 1 or 2 employees immediatly.

Just needed to print out a check (who needs a whole check book nowadays!) and was in and out in 5 minutes! Quick, easy, and painless. Area was clean and attendants were courteous and professional. 24/7 ATM on the outside is a nice perk too for quick cash withdrawals.

Navy Federal Fairfax, My comment should be taken as a suggestion I went to this branch for the first time It called my attention the number of employees they have, but more the fact that most caught my attention is that they do not have Coffee? for customers, Obviously I asked why not and the answer they gave me was even worse, if we had coffee for customers we could not give them the rates that we offer ! ... at that time there was only one client and me. now I'm not in a hurry I would like to answer the manager and maybe give you a suggestion ... First When a client asks for something the answer should be OK We will take your suggestion and not try to become smart. Second If you remove one of the bank's representatives, budget will be enough …I think it would be enough to have coffee for your clients and that way they would feel a little more appreciated. PS the Centreville and other branches they have coffee and tea. because of your bad response I have decide to start to move my money to North West federal credit Union where I feel more appreciated. And rates are betters ! FYI.

Im truly impress with this credit union. They stay open for all their customers. Although, limited to people who can be inside the branch at the same time for transactions. We just have to be patient.

Courteous staff, have yet to experience much of a wait, seems very clean. Hours could be longer though, to accommodate folks who work 9-5 and can't make it to the bank during that timeframe.

I was having a bad morning and did not think a branch visit would turn my day around, but it did! These interactions matter! I am thankful to have been helped by David. His genuine and warm persona, in addition to, his willingness and efficiency in assisting with my somewhat tedious cash transaction turned the morning around for me.

Came in without an appointment to handle matters for my parents' estate, after sadly they passed away. Worked with Alexander who was as kind and pleasant as could be, and who handled everything competently and professionally. Really appreciate this bank through such a difficult time.

There was a teller (male) named Daenesh (?) who absolutely had no professional manner at all. When I tried to deposit my cash he did not show me any professional manner. After deposit my cash, I asked him if I could make it sure the deposited amounts were accurate. He suddenly showed his temper and started to act like J.. I cannot believe that kind of teller still works at the bank without any professional manner at all. please provide better training to your staff how to be more professional and treat your customers!! How can the customers trust Navy Federal if your staff act like that manner. I have complained to the office manager but never heard any since then. I truly cannot trust the navy federal to have them handle my financial matters at all.!!

Have only had great experiences at this branch. Everyone who have helped us were very friendly and beyond helpful in answering our questions and giving banking advice!

Please hire who can do the job, I just have a very bad experience from one of your supervisor her name is Amena Huq... ,I am trying to deposit $5000 money order she turned me done,damn I drive about a mile to the Bank of America deposit $5000 money order in their location....... Dang you are right ..... The manager don't have any experience,don't know how to create their customer
