FYI-Local branches are closed on Juneteenth. I had to call the main number, enter my info, speak to a representative, give them my info for security purposes, then ask them if they were opened on this holiday to get this info about being closed on Juneteenth. Otherwise I love being a member of Navy Federal. A local number would be convenient though. It'd be great if Google could figure out convenience of listing holiday hours on their Hours list.

Why do they keep changing their Saturday hours? Last weekend they closed at 3pm. Today, they close at 1:30pm. Very inconvenient considering they’re the ONLY NFCU in New Mexico.

I've had some simple and some complex transactions and business to conduct at NFCU in ABQ over the past few years. I have always been treated fairly and with respect at the branch. Isn't it interesting that these reviews are so polarized here? When you read the complaints of the 1-star reviewers, it seems many are reactive and emotional (entitled?). That does come with the territory when dealing with military sponsors, dependents, and vets. PTSD is real so everyone take a deep breath - banking is not life and death so be nice and you'll feel better.

No complaints. Friendly service. Good app.

I have been an NFCU member since 1977 and I have NEVER had a bad experience at any branch or with any person. Loan rates are the best in the country and I have purchased at least 15 cars with them over the years. Nobody, and I mean nobody can beat them to include Credit Card rates, 6.99%.

26 April 2022 This ABQ NFCU location (87110) is locked on and a special ‘kudos’ goes out to assistant manager Adreina M. Thanks for what you did for me today, Adreina! Is everyone ready for a reeeally interesting story? Of course you are (haha)! Read on… I received a loan check (from another bank) and I ‘tried’ to use their mobile check deposit option… nope. They contacted me two days later and said my loan check was not eligible for their mobile check deposit option (of course this was after I wrote, “For mobile deposit only at _____,” on the back of my loan check)??? I took it to NFCU and at first the teller said she couldn’t deposit it either since I’d written on the back of it (not her fault, I could be a con artist). Anyway, I asked to speak to a manager and got to speak to Adreina. I explained my situation to her and showed her the correspondence from my other bank (proof of rejection for my loan check). Adreina gave me the OK, I deposited my loan check, and was on my way. I have to wait two days for it to clear, but so what – it’ll be faster than mailing my check to my other bank in NC. Thanks again for your help today, Adreina. You could’ve told me “too bad, so sad,” but you didn’t. You made this a quick and easy process and I appreciate it. This NFCU location is good-to-go.

Love Navy Federal Credit Union this place is wonderful. I’ve had this credit union since 2000 their rates are always great for any type of loan. Love that you can use all CU and most all other credit unions ATM’s all over and also 7- Eleven’s all over the country for free without charge 👍🏽👍🏽

Went in yesterday to open an new bank account. After the woman helping me asked for my ID and sat down with it for several minutes she told me she wouldn’t be able to open an account for me since it’s a temporary paper ID, even though I had a voided one with it and it is a federally recognized and legal ID. Not sure why she didn’t inform me of that immediately when I handed it to her, as it was obvious what it was. Her attitude was also just very rude and dismissive, which I did not appreciate. From my experience I definitely wouldn’t recommend Navy Federal Credit Union to anyone. That being said, I went to BBVA instead and was helped right away and had a great experience! Highly recommend BBVA as they actually treated me respectfully and were understanding about extenuating circumstances during the pandemic. Navy Federal could learn a lot from BBVA’s customer service as theirs is lacking.

outstanding visit at this branch once again. Got a joint account in under 7 mins with the debit cards since they don't offer it online. Drew was a great help. In the store they represent what it is like to be apart of the Navy Federal Family, and apart of the Best Credit Union.

They messed up my paperwork for a truck loan, tripled my interest rate and added $70 a month to the loan until I fixed the problem. Once I fixed the paperwork they returned me to a lower interest rate but raised the payment $5 per month? Figures don't lie but liars can figure! Stay clear of these money rats!
