Navy Federal Credit Union Brookhurst St, Fountain Valley

I have had lots of experience with lots of banks. I even used to be a teller, and then became a vault teller. So I can say with all honesty that this place is the best. Everytime I call they take care of me immediately. I have to hold for hours sometimes at other banks but not at Navy Federal. They have always made my experience quick and convenient everytime. The reason I went there is because I have banked with the three other banks near by Wells Fargo, Bank of America and Bank of the West, and everytime I call them I am on hold for an hour. That is why I switched, I called NFCU and they did not put me on hold and were able to help me and I did not have to hold. A real person answered the phone every time I called. They offer lots of free services also like DMV & Medallion Stamp, and they did it for free because I had a bank account there. You don't have to be a Navy person either. You can just go in and open an account, they didn't ask me for proof that my dad was in the Navy during WWII. the on line application ask for that but when you walk in they don't ask for proof. They offer higher rate of return on my interest to. Super nice customer care is the best.

The Fountain valley off brookhurst branch is on point. No complaints at all so far. I recently moved back to Navy Fed lady time I held acct was when Westminster Mall Branch was opened late 90's I think 🤔.

This branch is very professional and striving to help out their customers. I've worked with Tony twice, and recently has given me very helpful advice regarding refinancing my auto loan. He is knowledgeable and truly takes his time to explain. Great Branch!

They have a CoinStar type machines that are only for members. Not being a member or being able to, having not served. But despite all that the teller not only let me exchange my pretty decent bag of change. But even helped me roll them! Great service , with extraordinary benefits! Overall excellent.

navy federal are one of the best bank. They have the best customer service. I called navy federal in different occasions and in different time, They are always there waiting for you, to help and resolve any issue. I do not judge an entire institution just because one teller didn't say good morning. This may happen anywhere.

These folks are always friendly. Front desk always says hello of they aren't shady working with someone. They are efficient and never give anyone grief. Most importantly, they aren't loud. Many banks have trekkers that soak do loud everyone in the bank knows what's going on, not these folks, they are very appropriate!

I had an issue with cashing a check and came in to see Alex. She was very friendly, knowledgeable and happy to help me. What a positive experience. Thanks Alex 😍

I love Navy Federal for its banking, small loan, and credit card services; however, I will never consider it for mortgages. I tried three times within nine months and got declined each time for VA Home Loan. Each time it was a different excuse or reason. On the last denial, credit score was 660, DTI was about 30%, and no late payments within 12 months. Not to mention that it was difficult to connect with the agents. Less than a week later, I went with a different lender and got approved at 3.2% interest and zero down. Now, I am clear to close on our home, get the keys on Monday. 3 Stars for banking, credit card, and small loan. Forget it about mortgage!
