Carol was so delightful in assisting me while trying out a beautiful, blue bicycle I knew I had to have. She was so friendly, warm and accommodating. Genuine in every way. I purchased that bicycle and enjoy it every chance I get. Thank you for the pleasure. (Pardon my lateness for the review Carol 🫠)

So I went into this store to sell some jewelry and miss Carol was so sweet and helpful. I went back later to bring jewelry that I had forgotten the 1st time, and Maria (the lady with an accent) tried to lowball me and honestly wasn't that nice, but miss Carol swooped in and gave me a more fair price! So long story short, if you go here ask for miss Carol cause she's the best.

I’ve been here a few times over the past two years, Tina, Maria, Rene, and I can’t remember the last woman’s name but the whole team is amazing helpful and reasonable!

Have pawned sold a few different times and every time was an easy painless experience. Especially dealing with Tina. She was polite and in a great mood and made my day just a bit better. I got a loan oN a Switch today and it was very smooth and fair. Will def return and hope to see Tina again!

I have dealt with this place off and on for the last 5 yrs or so and they have always been great.. Maria was really helpful yesterday. I was on and out faster than any other time and even amy other pawn shop i been too. Not to mention she was very sweey mocd pplite courteous and last but not least very pleasant on the eyes.

Maria helped me and I have to say that this was NOT the usual pawn shops experience! I saw on on line ad featuring a lens that I wanted, unfortunately I was out of town. I contacted Maris on line and she was able to handle payment over the phone and set the lens aside. When I came to pick it up it was ready to go and I was in and out in in record time, no hassle. The truly amazing part was that the next day Maria followed up with me and made sure that everything had gone smoothly and that I was happy with the lens. ACTUAL customer service! From now on I know who I will be dealing with at National Pawn and Jewelry!

I’m a college student and the beginning of the semester was rough as it should be. I needed to get a grip on my financials fast and was able to speak with Marissa and she got me the money I needed. Customer service was overall great, thankful for her assistance and not just treating me like another customer who may walk into the store at any other local pawn shop in town. Also, some pretty cool items in stock so go check them out!

I sell items on a selling app. A gentleman messaged me that he wanted to buy my items. Normally all my items are pick up. He wanted for me to bring items to him. I told him weather he goes thru with purchase or not at minimum I had to charge for driving the items to him. He agreed and I made myself clear on that point 2 days before. Normally all my items are pick up only in case people "change their mind" I am not out anything. He didn't want my items(which is ok) but NOT OK HE AGRRED TO PAY $5 FOR MY BRING TO HIM AND THEN REFUSED! Go somewhere where people have integrity and do the right thing. People who do as they say they will do! Take all business elsewhete!

National Pawn is the nicest pawn shops I’ve been in! They were very clean and all staff were dressed very nicely. Pawn broker Alex was great assistance! I told him what I was looking for and he helped me out greatly picking out a guitar for my son. He also offered me a great plan just in case something happened to the guitar. My overall first experience was great!

Well for starters, nothing is ever perfect. My wife and I have been doing business with this company for quite sometime now and neither of us have been disrespected or been given unfair rates. I just bought a ps4 from them and Maria was such a big help! THAKKS GUYS!

First time ever selling anything and the whole staff was amazing! I was nervous having never sold anything before but it was such a great experience. We received way more than we thought we would get. Unbelievable customer service and work ethic! Even chatted with us about our football fandom. DO NOT SHOP HERE!!! Woman sold me a broken slow laptop. I bought a protection plan because she LIED and told me I could get a refund if I purchase it. I bring it back the next day and I had to exchange it for another slow laptop. They sell BROKEN things and lie to get a sale. THEY ARE SCAMMERS!!!

I had a great experience at national pawn the other day. Tina, one of the managers was very helpful. Tina was well informed on everything I was asking her. She portrayed a certain passion in her job. You don't usually see that in an employee. Sure they are there for the money, they usually have to be. Tina however, was different, I noticed she was also helping out 2 other employees to help their sales. I find that rare. I hope she is well compensated for her efforts, it's rare to have someone that passionate in their work and people they want to help. If her upper management aren't taking care of her, that would be sad. Thank you Tina for all your help. I will definitely send other people I know your way. Keep up the good work. Hope your management sees your passion as we do, and acts accordingly.

Great place to shop. Friendly people that go out of their way to help. Decent prices, and they will bargain with you on the price if you want a better deal. Give them a try, sure beats paying full price for a new piece in a store, when you can buy something that already has a story with history and a better price to top it off. And all at National Pawn and Jewelry!

I was treated there so ruff. I was there at 9 when they opened up. But Michelle addressed me with such a abrupt manner it was appalling. As I stood there she kept dismissing me due to there computers were not up. An to come bak in 30 minutes. They supposedly had to go to the bank. A LIE!!! They followed me out of their parking lot n went to whattaburger an was bak in 10 minutes because my son called an confronted them situation. An they buffered him out. Really. Nasty people

Tina and Maria are the best! I was struggling trying to find the perfect gift. But with their help, I decided to get jewelry in which that person really loved. I really appreciate their service, patience and hard work. Out of the other pawn shops in San Marcos this is most definitely my favorite out of all of them. I personally shop at various pawn shops across Texas and I have to say this is one of the best.

It was a pleasant visit i went to the pawn shop off near the college the 4.5 pawn and got turned down and was told that my 280 pressure washer a loan against it would be only 75-80$ when I was asking 100$ this pawn shop was more than accommodating and actually said sorry on their behalf when its 2 totally different pawn shops. Made me feel welcomed and my business matter and they gave me my asking price. I believe I found my one stop shop. And Mrs.Tina Roy was very knowledgeable and professional and even made me laugh. Give that woman a raise! She made my day when it wasn't pleasant to start off in the beginning. **Update Also have lower prices than the other pawn shops or mom n pop shops offer.****

Never really had a good experience visiting pawn shops until I went to National Pawn and Jewelry in San Marcos. I found a chainsaw I've been struggling to find at a great price. I couldn't make the drive due to work and was worried the saw would be gone by the time I could visit. Spoke to Maria over the phone and she helped me put it on hold with layaway which is an awesome service. Very nice staff and selection even got a quote on something I wanted to sell and got a surprisingly good offer. About $300 more than my last quote from another pawn shop. All in all a great expiereo. Highly recommend

This is an amazing pawn shop. Not only do they have the best selection for jewelry and guns but I've gotten in a bind a couple of times and they've honestly surprised me with how much they gave me for my items. I love this pawn shop! I had usually used another local one for years but after it got bought out by different owners, it had less merchandise available and less quality overall. This one had literally everything I was looking for when I first went and the next couple of times after I used them for all the other resources they have to offer. I sold things and pawned things and if you buy the insurance on the electronics you buy, you can pawn them for something else of the same value for up to a year! I always change my mind on things or want a different electronic to try out so this plan works perfectly for me and keeps me still within my budget too!

These people were awesome! I went to three pawn shops that day and out of the three they were the best. The first pawn shop shorted me on change, the second one were ok but didn't really talk or try to be helpful, but lastly we had National Pawn who was friendly as soon as we stepped through the doors. Plus they gave me a great deal on the bass guitar I bought. So yeah these folks deserve five stars in my book.
