As far as pawn shops go, this is probably the best one I've ever been to. The store is clean and it doesn't smell. The items are clean. The prices are very reasonable. I've been to a couple other National Pawn shops and this one is by far the best. I did have a hard time getting waited on the last time I visited, but then I met Saidy, and she took care of me. She gave me a good deal on some video games and was super nice! I highly recommend that you go see her.

Friendly, helpful staff and a clean store! Great selection of items at a decent price. I got a Michael Kors bag and wallet set in perfect condition for way less than the retail cost!

Today I went in and tried to sell my Gucci watch and one of the men there told me he would buy it for around 20$.. that is absolutely ridiculous no matter what it is a Gucci watch which I should be able to get at least 100$ for if not more it had a little wear n tear but I know it’s worth a lot more than 20$ this place is a joke I’ve never had issues w pawn shops before besides this one I won’t be returning attached is the watch I tried to sell. Absolutely ridiculous

The employees are very friendly, helpful, and thorough with their jobs. Helped explain all processes they were doing and also watching them thoroughly check my merchandise let me know the stuff in their store is of good quality.

I knew what my item was worth and another place tried to rob it from me for 60.00....Jimmy asked what I was looking to get for it...I said I'm not sure (wanted to see how fair they'd be) he came back minutes later with a fair 1k offer...Great people that are fair....Do not go anywhere else

Eric is GREAT! The whole crew was nice as well. I took some jewelry in to sell and Eric spent quite a bit of time testing and sorting it all. He also tested and classified a few heirloom pieces that we weren’t going to sell. Very kind to spend his time like that. My wife and I got our rings here and had a great experience. The staff was all very kind and respectful. Yosenia was extremely nice and very patient with us as we tried on rings. She was happy to let us try on as many as we wanted and even sent us pictures after we left. Peter was also extremely pleasant and informative. Marquis was a kind salesman. There was a good selection of rings and electronics - i bought speakers too! Great shop and great staff.

I was speaking with mr Caleb and I wanted to sell my chain . It was only worth a value of $215 but I explained to them I urgently needed the extra money he went and spoke with mr peter . They went above and beyond to get to me to the correct dollar amount I needed. I totally recommend coming here . Great customer service and the neatness is a PLUS !!

Recently, I visited this store and was impressed with the customer service and the quality of the merchandise. Roxana was my sales person. She was very knowledgeable and had an awesome personality. She was great. After, I had chosen the item, I requested to speak with a manager. She introduced me to Brian who is very professional but friendly. We discussed a price for the item and he gave me a great but fair price. He was AWESOME! Love this place and you will too.

Peter & Luz are absolutely fantastic. We were nervous about our first pawn shop experience and they were very helpful, answered all our questions, and educated us along the way.

I walked in and they had TONS of movies! I bought over 100 DVDs and Blu-rays, and it was heaven. Betti helped me get boxes and add up all the movies—she was very nice and awesome to work with. I will be back!

Brought some tool in to sell when I was short on cash and bills were due. They gave me the best price around, very friendly, and professional. Will definitely come here again if ever I need to make some payments on short notice. Make sure you see Mike when you come, he helped me with the sale and was in and out before I knew it.

So I came to National Pawn and received excellent customer service from Robert. It all started when I entered the store he acknowledged my presence and asked was there anything he could assist me with. Great listener, he listen to what I wanted and pointed me in the direction to get those things. I love when someone asks me what I want and not point me to what they think I need. He was great with suggestions that might help me with the items I purchased. National Pawn definitely has a exceptional customer service associate on there hands. I would come back anytime and seek assistance from him.

A little kindness goes a long way, and Stephen was a delight and made my whole experience really an amazing one. I went in today for a small loan, I’ve not been in a situation like I’m currently in and He was so kind and made me feel like a human. By far the best pawn shop in my experience. Naomi is our go-to person at this location and she has always been extremely helpful and very knowledgeable. A good pawn shop worth conducting business with which is mutually beneficial to the store and the customer. Recently Worked with Lindsey Jones and she was very helpful to me. This is a very clean Pawn Shop in a very safe friendly atmosphere. Their most reasonable price for items is their used DVD collection. Very good price. I also purchased a TV there and a DVD player for very good price.

Such a friendly environment, I was helped as soon as I stepped in line. Everyone was happy and smiling, best customer service from any other pawn shop. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Peter and Elias were amazing!

Worst pawn shop in town. They were running a Halloween discount they did not honor after Robert told us he would. He is a lier just like the store manager. Robert wrote me a price on his business card and told us he would further discount the price if a good review is left on google. They wanted $7,200 for a chain with or without a discount. This place is being run by a bunch of crooks. Same chain with the same amount on GR is sold BRAND NEW online for less. Do your research before buying any jewelry on this circus place, if they are begging for people to leave positive reviews, is not a good place to do business with. What a waste of time. I wish I can give cero stars.

During this current state our economy is at a low and like many other Americans I have bills that need to get paid or my 3 little boys and I would be sleeping in a car. Down in the dumps I waked into National Pawn on Glenwood with some gold pieces I had just inherited. This was a very hard decision but something that had to be done. I approach the counter and Rodolfo was at the counter and with the warmest most welcoming smile not only was Rodoflo extremely knowledgeable and efficient. He handled everything very quickly. I needed the money to pay rent. I explained this to them saying well I need $1300 but would Love 1350 so I had a little more left for me and the boys for grocerIt’s and what not. Not only did they give me what I asked for but much more than that. I was shocked and could have cried the sense of relief was amazing and Rodolfo made all of this possible I can’t thank him enough!! When you go ask for Rodolfo!! I promise you won’t be disappointed!!!

This place is amazing. They have great deals and know the products in their store. Items that can be purchased range anywhere from CDs and DVDs, laptops, phones, cameras, speakers to name brand hand bags and jewelry. I was eyeing a piano keyboard. This pawn shop is clean and upfront with what you're buying. This being said, I would make sure to read the lower rating reviews just to ensure such things don't happen to you. My experience though was great! I was helped by Valeria. She is awesome! Personable, funny and has a good knowledge of the products in the store. She had posted about a camera which I was interested in buying but was sold. She made it her goal to find another, it ended up being an even better deal! She was very efficient and attentive. I would definitely recommend her to assist you in whatever your purchase may be.

This is probably the best pawn shop in Raleigh to sell. I had such a great and positive experience here that I haven’t always received at other pawn shops throughout the Raleigh Triangle area. Everyone is friendly and interactive as well as professional. I was offered much higher and fair prices than any other pawn shop I been to. The lady that helped me was Lindsey, she was so sweet and made me comfortable with asking any questions I needed answered! This is my official new favorite pawn shop and I don’t see myself going anywhere else!

I wish I could give them zero stars for the rushed inconsiderate awful customer service that I have experienced for the last two days in a row. If you have to go to this location for any reason (which I assure you is a tragedy as you will not Be satisfied) Naomi is the only one half way worth dealing with. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS LOCATION. I recommend seeing Ms. Carmen at the guess road location who I have previously done business with and will continue to do so in the future. It’s 100% worth the drive just to have quality customer service to visit guess road.

I frequent the fleet wood location quite often and the staff are super friendly and knowledgeable about the items I bring in or want to buy. The two staff members that really stand out are Jose and Peter. They gave me a great deal for my tools that I brought in to sell. Super professional and extremely efficient at getting me on my way with the agreed upon amount for my tools. I wouldn't recommend going anywhere else. National give the most for your items that you would like to sell.

I go to this National Pawn on Fleetwood Dr off of Glenwood Ave on a weekly basis. The staff is incredibly helpful and kind. Chris goes out of his way every time I come in to make sure I know that I am a valuable customer here and always makes offers I am happy with. Steven also is great, he always makes sure I get a great price whether I am pawning or selling and is always so nice with a smile on his face. Honestly all the staff is great and helpful and I have not had a bad experience. I have been to multiple National Pawn locations and other pawn shops here in the triangle and this by far is my favorite. Every time I come here I know I will be treated with kindness, greeted with a smile, and always end up laughing with the staff while I am there. The line always goes quickly, they get people in and out. I have been to other pawn shops where it feels like they are low-balling you and feels as though you are being ripped off, but not here. They make sure I know I am a valuable customer and I am always happy with the offers ultimately settled upon. Best pawn shop in the area by far, I would recommend it to everyone.

Glenwood Ave Raleigh store has very attractive display cases for their jewelry. You feel like you’re in a retail store rather than a pawn shop. They have an in-house jeweler so items have carat weight. You can be confident you are buying a solid metal or not. Robert was most helpful. I shall come again. Vicki

Friendly staff and quick service! Pawned an item that came back a bit damaged (didn’t notice until I was home and unwrapped it) which was a bit of a bummer, but otherwise very happy with the experience.

Had a good experience getting my “SURPRISE” engagement ring for my soon to be wife however as all it being new to me, I got the wrong size for my financé after spending money for the ring itself and an extra $50 Friday 10/26/18 to accidentally get the wrong size and a lovely lady tried to help me get the correct size. But the “MANAGER” told her I would have to pay yet another $25 to get the right size and said I should of brought her in to get sized. What man brings there financé in to get sized when it’s called a “SURPRISE” instead of showing good customer service and letting me get it resized for free after I just paid $50 to get it sized, he insisted it was my fault. Manager is absolutely horrible at this location and would not recommend to anyone. He had ruined the overall experience I had from the beginning!

I typically would go here to shop frequently and I like several of the staff here such as Kim. However, Peter ruined this location for me. Last time I went there, he would not haggle on a price of a game barely (disc was severely scratched up and would likely require professional cleaning in order to work properly). Then there were several games out on their 3/$1 rack that he said was a mistake to have them out there (they were not expensive in any normal circumstance--$6-$8 range) and rather than accepting the mistake and honoring the price like any decent manager would, he did one of those "oh well I don't care" shrugs to me like a jackass. Piss poor customer service, and I will take my business to the Capital Blvd location from here on out unless I hear of a correction otherwise made.

Went in today to sell an iPad and had a great experience. Eric helped me and was personable, humorous, and friendly. We were able to agree on a good price as I had realistic expectations. His manager Garrett was also great and these two are model employees. The fact that they stand by their products and want to make it right for me restores my faith in them. Original post below. --- These Yahoo's take the cake. I am a long time customer of theirs, taking 30 loans over 5 or 6 years and never missing a payment on their usurious rates. This week I took my airpods in to procure a 20 dollar payday loan. They quickly identified my airpods as counterfeit, and refused the loan. Here's the thing though. I BOUGHT THE AIRPODS FROM THEM LAST YEAR!!! The crooks sold me fake airpods and then refused to loan me 20 bucks on them. Go to another shop. These guys are bad on many levels

Lies and deception abound! NC opened up this week for retail sales, National Pawn has a HUGE sign on Glenwood Avenue saying "Retail is Back". This is a large store and I wanted to see what they had available. I'd been hitting the smaller Picasso Pawns and not been impressed. After doing a U-turn to get there, I'm told it's not really true. They are doing curbside pickups and loans on your stuff. NOT RETAIL! It may be petty, but false advertising is false advertising.

Rob was very helpful with picking out an engagement ring and wedding band. My fiance was thrilled with the engagement ring, but I decided to return my wedding band and buy one new. They honored their 30 day return policy and promptly refunded the full price of the ring. You won't find many pawn shops as helpful and honest as this place.

We had come here to trade in some salvage from around our house with hopes to also come home with a new computer. I came into the store yesterday with a good friend of mine who was visiting from another country. Anyway We were welcomed to the store by one of the sharpest dressing young man who was nothing but professional. His name was Rob Saunders. He sold my friend 2 very nice watches that she was taking back with her overseas on Monday. Anyway we noticed that the batteries in the watches were dead and to make matters worse, your store is closed on Sundays and trying to get there in the morning to get the batteries replaced at 10am when the store opens wasn't an option since my friend has to be at the bus station by 10:30. He had given me his card and contact info for any future purchases and referrals. Well I decided to call him and advise him of the situation with the batteries. He actually took the time out of his schedule today to meet us so that he could himself could see if he could get the watches working. He showed up with his tool box and immediately went to work trying to remove the backs off of both watches. After several minutes, he had removed the dead batteries out of both watches. Without saying one word, he left with them and came back awhile later with 2 new watch batteries. He installed them and now those beautiful timepieces are ticking again! He was determined that we were going to be satisfied with National Pawn since this was both of our first times in such a nice looking pawn shop. We will definitely be back and hopefully we receive the same customer service and honesty that we received from Mr. Saunders.

Went out to the National Pawn on Fleetwood Dr in Raleigh today. Jerluis was amazing!!! Helped us out in every way possible and was very kind. Helped us about 4 different times for various questions and transactions. He did not seem bothered or annoyed. Great customer service from him! Definitely sweet and willing to help!!!! Will definitely be going back.

Def a good experience each time I go. I have had Naomi twice and she is such a joy. Very nice, like all the staff but she was great. I went to inquiry about my Apple-watch at National Pawn and was given the best customer service that i have experienced in quite awhile. I was greeted with a smile and my questions and concerns were answered truthfully and without the feeling of being mislead or rushed. I want to recognize Jordana at the Fleetwood location she did an amazing job and got me taken care of quickly and easily. She needs to be looked at when promotions come around she is truly a valuable asset to your company.

I have never been to a Pawn shop before so didn't know what to expect. Luckily I had a wonderful employee named Jordana Liranzo help me. She was sincere, funny, professional and above all patient, since I asked about a hundred questions while she was helping me, she explained the whole process as we went through it. With the amount of jewelry I took in and the stuff she did for her side she ended up spending approx. 2 hours with me and never made me feel rushed or I was a burden. After my experience with her I would definitely do business with National Pawn again.

Overall great experience at the Fleetwood location. I bought a few items and one was faulty, but Elias and Peter gave me a no-hassle refund. I then bought a similar item which worked perfectly. Everything was sold at a fair price, and slightly below sticker. Will definitely be a return shopper.

My experience with pawn shops was always shoddy at best but this place changed that for sure. I came in to find a nice environment full of friendly faces who were eager to help. One Ms. Lindsay Jones helped me while I was there. She wasn’t pushy and she knew what she was talking about. She helped me select and Xbox one and some games for my nieces and nephews. The price was good and the customer service was better. Would definitely recommend.

Definitely not what you would expect in a pawn shop. Very nice and friendly retail outlet. Lindsey was very friendly and professional. Visited again today trying to get rid of items since I no longer have a garage. Saw Lindsey again and was of course very pleased with her service. What a refreshing way to sell items you don't need anymore. It may be a little less money than you would receive through a personal sale but the simplicity makes for a much better and straight forward experience.

From the first time I came into this location the store associate Lindsey has been a joy to work with from explaining layaways to helping me shop for the perfect gifts, she is always professional yet down to earth and friendly. Besides her excellent customer service this has to be one of the best stores I’ve been to in a while, clean, organized and well lit. Wow, I am very impressed with this pawn shop; it is clean, and well organized. If you are looking to buy, they have quality merchandise, and you can find some good deals. National also has a very fair exchange policy. The electronics, guitars, and amps are not stuck behind some counter; they are out where you can try them. Sean helped me with my purchase, and he was awesome, very friendly and professional. I will certainly return to shop at this location.

Normally I wouldn't get at this business because they have a good track record and I have bought great items from here. Stephen needs some training and manners when dealing with people. I don't know how he was raised but he is representing your business and doesn't seem to know common greeting terms like Sir, Mister, Gentleman or any polite terms. Even after me telling him my name he still insisted on calling me boss and boss man. I spend money at these stores and expect respect because I was raised that way. Use common courtesy when greeting potential customers. I don't know you and didn't come to see you. We are not friends. There is no excuse for bad manners. Your business can not afford it.

Update: I went back to the store because I didn’t feel as if I was treated right but to my benefit I was able to speak to the manager and he was a great help as was mike and I was extremely happy I was finally able to get Yesenia to not only close the sale with me but sale me the item at a better price I will definitely be coming back to this pawn shop knowing there are actual GREAT representative that can make me feel comfortable purchasing anything Thank you national pawn shop .

I've been into National Pawn and Jewelry dozens of times and have always had fast and friendly service. Their prices are great and they have a nice selection of unique items. I purchased a ring from them and lost a stone, they replaced it quickly for free. They also purchased a ring from me and their offer was a lot more than I expected.

As a new hire I have had an excellent orientation given by Kim Waldon. I was also able to assist the assistant manager with a customers transaction. Overall this store has a great atmosphere and everyone is so welcoming!
