Mutual Savings Association E 4th St, Tonganoxie

Mutual Savings has been so great for us! Their staff works hard for their customers and will go out of their way to make banking life easier for your family. They are knowledgeable and kind. They have a great small bank, hometown feel and know each of their customers very well, but also have all of the options a “big” bank might have.

Have been with Tonganoxie Mutual Savings for well over 15 years. Absolutely the best bankining experience I have ever had. I’m a life long member no doubt, appreciate the fantastic service and professional attitude regarding my finances. I can’t say Thank You enough Mutual Savings!!!

A few months back I decided I was going to refinance a couple of properties I own. I got the idea because my current at that time Linder had just a informational circular in the monthly statement. I started down the road with them because I thought it would be easiest. After all, they’ve had the mortgages for over 10 years.... I thought it would be a snap, as I’ve always paid on time in my credit score was very good (very close to 800). I preferred to do banking things in person as to do my part in making sure that my identity is not stolen over the Internet. So I made a call to the local Chase Bank branch and ask for loan officer. The thought process there was to give them My current loan statement and do a refi ..... sounds simple but it was not! The local loan officer told me that he would call me back in an hour or so, but never did. So I went the online route with Chase. Paid the $500.00 originating fee to Chase in February 2019. After dealing with JP Morgan Chase and seven different people receiving six different answers and a period of almost 3 months had gone by, I was talking to my sister and she said “Stay with a local bank, you’ll be glad you did.” So on the next visit to the area, I spoke to Jen, the branch manager at the Tonganoxie branch. She sent a message to Ryne who called me that very day, and was able to start the paperwork that day! We were at the closing table with them 60 days, and the reason it took that long is because scheduling a time for the appraisal with the current renters (2 properties) took just over 2 weeks. I told Ryne and Jen at the closing table that I was ashamed that I didn’t start this process with mutual in the first place. The headaches and time delays that could’ve been avoided had I just stayed with a local bank to begin with. If I could give Mutual Savings a slogan of my own it would be ‘Mutual Savings Association.....stick with a local bank, you’ll be glad you did!’

I haves banked with Mutual for 20 years and they are the best! Customer service is amazing. Jen and Brittney are wonderful to do business with. Great bank!!

Jen and Britt are absolutely wonderful... they are always so helpful weather I call or come in with a lot of business for them to help me with!! They always welcome me by name!

I opened a checking account several weeks ago and couldn’t be more happy with the overall experience. Jennifer was very pleasant and professional and extremely knowledgeable about their services. I explained what I was looking for and she helped me open the account which best suited my needs. I was very impressed that a local financial institution like MSA not only had online banking but also had an app for my phone which makes using my account even more convenient. I would highly recommend MSA and will definitely be going back for future financial services.
