Matt Waggoner was a pleasure to work with for my Refinance. Because it was not a large loan other companies did not seem to be interested. I spoke with Matt, explained what I was looking for and what my timeline was and he said No Problem. He explained what the process rate and costs involved and we started the process. The paper work was pretty simple and all done online start to finish except for the signing of the Docs. And a few days after the signing the money appeared in my account. I would highly recommend Matt for all your mortgage needs. He was personable and professional and delivered exactly what he promised. Jack Pyle provided excellent service! He always responded immediately to phone calls and emails. He helped us navigate our first home purchase at every step of the process. We got into our home under a very tight deadline because of the way Jack got things done.

The whole HECM application process was very well organized by Ann Marie Stemen’s Team. For us, responding as quickly as we could to information requests was key. We responded within a day or two to requests from Ann Marie’s team that we needed to contact certain people in the process such as the house appraiser, title agency and counseling services. We received timely emails. There was never a concern on our part as to where we were on the application or wondering what was happening next. Thanks to all of Ann Marie’s team for making this so easy!

Absolutely the best experience I have ever had with a home loan and this was my 5th home loan. Typically I am hesitant to try out new programs advertised, however my wife and I saw Costco advertising a refinance program for customers. I figured I'd give it a try. Of the companies I provided my information to Frank Sommese contacted me immediately. Of the15 companies/banks who propsed loans, Frank's customer service, professionalism and products stood heads above the other companies, including my own credit union. Throughout the refinance process communication was excellent, timelines streamlined, the program and the rate phenomenal. I don't typically leave reviews but the service through Frank's office is some of the best I've received in the last 25 years from any company. I could not be happier and will recommend colleagues/family to him. A thanks from Portland, OR!

Poor experience. Working with Frank Sommese was fine but as soon as we signed on the dotted line, we were passed off and forgotten. Finally we were assigned to Melissa McCarthy to help finalize our loan and she was terrible. We had to proved the same information over and over, had to jump through continuous hoops and ended up paying for closing costs out of pocket. At one point I had to ask her if she was trying to help us close our loan or prevent us from closing. Very disappointed, especially since this was one of Costco’s preferred vendors.

I am a veteran and worked with this company on a VA cash out refinance. It was an excellent experience and I was able to ask my mortgage banker (Dan Shaffer) any thing. He always responded promptly by either phone, text or email. He made the whole process very transparent and I had no surprises when it came to close. He looked at my whole financial situation and explained what he thought would be my best option... I never felt pressured to do commit to anything I wasn't 100% satisfied with. He even encouraged me to shop around for a loan, but Mutual's top shelf customer service and lowest cost of origination were beyond the competition. Highly recommended... ask for Dan, he'll help you out!

Dustin Nates, from Mutual of Omaha Mortgage was positively magnificent. Sheri (my wife) and I were at a point of brokenness, without hope of proceeding forward with the purchase of our house. We have excellent credit and a proven track record, but because of being in transition from Active Military to Retirement , we ran into road blocks with our bank of 15 years, being denied the mortgage. We met Dustin and “our darkness turned to day.” Dustin gave us hope. He was positive and encouraging. He explained the mortgage process every step of the way. He was transparent. We felt as though we finally had someone (in the mortgage realm) that actually cared about us. We are very thankful, and grateful that we had the opportunity to work with Dustin. His team worked diligently to ensure that we closed on our home, on time, and with a better “deal” than our original bank was offering. We are now in our forever home, and Dustin and his team made this possible. They are remarkable. I highly recommend him and his team to all.

Daniel is AWESOME! Definitely took care of me on the purchase of my first home and could not be more grateful for him. He helped me navigate clearing incorrect errors on my credit report and provided guidance on how to get my credit score into a better position for a friendlier loan. I shopped around to 9 different lenders (not exaggerating) and Daniel was able to beat everyone every step of the way. Derek Amos helped us refinance our home twice. When rates dropped in November 2019, he was our go to. Derek was professional, trustworthy, and always kept close communication to keep us informed and close our loan quickly. I didn't expect rates to drop again and never expected to refinance more than one, but when rates dropped in February 2020, my husband and I could not pass up a great opportunity. We contacted Derek again and he was just as professional and honest as the first time. He showed us an amortization schedule of our new loan and showed us the thousands we would save based on the loan interest rate and terms. Knowing we had chosen a reputable company with low, competitive fees put my mind at ease. We will be contacting Derek again in the future should we ever need loan services.

They made refinancing simple and straightforward. Great communications and website is well designed and makes it simple to upload documents. This was my 3rd Refinancing in last 10 years and by far the easiest. Highly recommend using Mutual of Omaha for refinancing. If rates drop another 50 basis points I will use again them again.
