    With the vehicle shortage, I was forced to purchase our vehicle from another dealership. After having only 3,600 miles on our vehicle the engine coolant light came on and I decided to drive to the closest dealership. The minute I walked in, Bo Jack met with me and immediately put a pod on my vehicle to determine the problem. He escorted me to their waiting area and immediately had someone start working on my vehicle. Without having an appointment, I appreciated that they still found time to inspect my vehicle. They did a thorough inspection and kept me informed of the findings. I will definitely return to this dealership and I will be a customer for life.

    I had a 9:30 appointment for a oil change 4 cars were parked there when I got there I asked him about those he said they just came in that morning problems with their air conditions that he saw I had a 930 appointment well I was in the front reading a book an hour goes by or 30 minutes 40 minutes and a woman came sit on me in a little while later 30 minutes she was gone they called her so I got up and went back there to ask the guy about my car a hour and 30 minutes later so he went outside to check and they were finishing up. I thought being I had the appointment someone would be doing appointments not squeezing in the people that just popped in before my 930 appointment. That’s the first time in six years I have had to wait that long just for a oil change.

    I brought the vehicle in for a diagnostic check for two issues. The diagnostic fee is too high in my opinion. I could understand $100 but not $150 for a simple plug in and the computer says what’s wrong with the vehicle. I am happy that the two problems were diagnosed so I don’t have to throw parts until I figure it out. Also the labor costs are WAY too high. It was $99 for part and 1.5 hours and $325 in labor to replace the driver seat haptic seat motor. I easily found OEM parts for $49 and then I found it was a broken wire. I repaired the motor myself and it only took me 20 min to pull it and replace it. Then the auto level air compressor is supposed to be bad. Again I found OEM parts for less than half and I’ll probably do the quoted 2 hour repair in less than one and I’m just a shade tree mechanic. If I can help it I won’t bring my vehicles to Musson Patout for service. The staff are not the friendliest. But not rude either, just kind of there. This was at the GMC section of the dealership. The one person there that is always smiling and friendly and that is the gentleman that shuttles you home while you vehicle is being serviced.

    I ordered a new 2022 Canyon with shop-click-drive. It was delivered to my house, which was GREAT! Unfortunately the shape it was delivered in was less than desirable. The dealer did not inform me that the dealer installed parts were not installed on the truck prior to delivery. If he had, I would have asked delivery be delayed until everything I purchased (according to the window sticker) was installed on the truck. It has been a nightmare trying to get the parts shipped from Louisiana to Texas and schedule an appointment with another GMC dealership in Texas. I have tried calling the dealership multiple times and reaching out to the gentleman who sold me the truck multiple times. The customer service representative from GMC was also unable to contact the dealership or service department for resolution both times I have called GMC customer service. The lights on the sports bar do not work...and I have a huge electrical cord hanging from the bottom of the truck which causes a driving hazard so I cannot drive the truck around town in fear of ripping it out. There is something wrong with the driver seat, it clicks and shifts. This in addition to the many “dealer installed” accessories that still need to be installed. They are unable to get the techno steel interior kit and I'm trying to get a refund or some sort of credit on that item. My desire would be to get a refund for the part I haven’t received or some sort of compensation, however, I’m unable to have an actual conversation with anyone to rectify the situation. The extra time it’s taken to try to get the parts listed on the window sticker & set up service is definitely worth what they market as “hassle free” click & drive.

    Went in for an oil change 2-14-22 and next day 2-15-22, had to go in because of low oil pressure. It was determined it was a sensor and oil pump that was going out. Was told it was a 15 hour job and would cost $3216, well, next day it was ready for noon and it cost $3192! How does a 15 hour job take only 5-6 hours and my bill only go down $20 or so dollars????? That was a total rip off and I will tell family and friends not to do any work with this shop! Very unsatisfied and I’ve been coming to this shop for years!

    Had an oil change and checked all fluids & filters checked. Service was quick, personnel at service desk were friendly, courteous and waiting area was clean and comfortable.

    I asked that the air pressure in my front tires be adjusted during an oil change. After the oil change I told the service advisor that my dashboard shows that the pressure was still low. Instead of him simply stating that he'll check on it right away, he deflected by stating that my truck may not be registering the air they put in. I then checked my dashboard reading against my tire gauge and told him that my tire gauge also shows that it was not adjusted. He then deflected YET AGAIN by stating that my truck tire sensors could be faulty! I then asked him if he was saying that my gauge was faulty also somehow? He then checked it himself and added the air which was not added.

    I loved how easy it was to make a service appointment online and from the first phone call everyone I spoke to on the phone or in person was so nice and polite. From the time I dropped my car off to picking it up was 2 hours. I thought for sure I would have to leave it overnight. So that also made me very happy. I had just an overall great experience. I would give 10 stars if I could! Thank you!

    I was greeted with rudeness and disrespect. I questioned the price increase for a service in addition to an additional service charge after receiving a different price quote via email reminder for scheduled service. She refused to explain the price increase. Replying “well that the charge” So if this is the employee that I have to encounter I prefer to purchase my next vehicle at another dealership. Employees that are in the frontlines of customer service should think about the customers that have given their company thousands of dollars for their merchandise $ 50000 to be exact for my Sierra 1500.

    They have a worker in a department I don’t like his attitudes. My vehicle been there 3 weeks for a alternator is back order. Meanwhile I have to spent money out my pocket for a rental. I am not happy with their service.

    Terrible dealership! They don’t even deserve one star. My husband purchased a 2021 GMC 1500 from salesman Kenneth Jumonville. After looking over the paperwork that evening, we decided against some of the insurances he originally opted for. So he went back to Musson Patout to resign the documents. We questioned the Nano Protect that they charged him $937 for. He knew it had not been done because he arrived as the truck was getting its initial car wash. They refused to remove the charge. Speed up to the next day, my husband decided he didn’t like the truck because it was missing some features he had become accustomed to. We went back to the dealership that morning to discuss them unwinding the loan to take the truck back, since there were several individuals interested in it the prior day. He was greeted by Kenneth with a terrible attitude and was told “you signed for it, it’s your truck. We aren’t taking it back”. My husband contacted Rachael Duhon at Don’s Automotive Group who did the courtesy trade for our Suburban on this deal. (Don’s bought our trade in because Musson offered a very low amount for our trade, ya’ll call her if you need a good deal!!) Come to find out she had actually paid Musson Patout $1500 more for our trade than Musson Patout gave us credit for!!! Wow. Did they really try to steal our $1500?!?! After speaking to the GM, he also refused to unwind the loan, even though the documents had to be reprinted and signed to give us our $1500 that we had to ARGUE WAS OURS! The GM admitted the Nano Protect was actually an insurance and they can’t force it on us. Well that wasn’t what Kenneth told us. Again, dishonesty from the salesman, Kenneth Jumonville. Go to Gerry Lane in Baton Rouge or Don’s Wholesale if you want a good experience!!

    This place is a complete joke. The technicians are pretty clueless and very rude. Brought my vehicle to them to have it worked on and went to pick it up still have a problem. The technician said it was working fine. The manager got involved and had it fixed. Had some other issues to fix and they gave me some excuses. They refused to work on something because it was aftermarket, again the manager had it fixed and resolved. Still having issues with my brakes. They say "they looked at them" and found nothing wrong. Pick it up and the brakes are making a crazy noise. Bring it back to them and they tell me the same thing, also was informed that I would need to ride with a technician to explain the noise so they could address it. I refuse to ride with someone who is supposed to be a mechanic. This is the 3rd time in 3 weeks it's been there. As far as the office people they are alright. They don't like to return your calls, so that's a problem there. Terrible service!! I will never bring any vehicle back to Musson or refer anyone to them.
