Looking for a bank you can trust with your money? Well this is not the bank for you. I was extremely disappointed after recently noticing an unauthorized charge on my debit card. After speaking to the retailer and receiving no explanation on what the charge was for, the retailer told me they could not help me and I needed to contact my bank. So I spoke to Caitlin at MSUFCU who told me she was unable to help me as well and I should call the retailer. I do not appreciate the finger pointing game, being given the run around, and my bank refusing to protect me against unauthorized charges. How very unfortunate that MSUFCU will not take the side of their customer over an unauthorized charge as small as $5. I would be very scared to keep the bulk of my money at this credit union knowing that they do not care about their members. I planned on making this account my main checking account but have decided not to after this experience and realizing that I would not be protected against fraud and unauthorized charges. World of mouth is very important in this small community and I’ll be sure to share my experience anytime I hear anyone mention this credit union.

We had an appointment set at a certain time before our arrival. We were 10 minutes early and just before the appointed time, we were notified that the person we were to see, was currently in a brief meeting. It was a Monday and we were the first appointment just after opening so we kind of expected this. The wait area had nice cushioned chairs, plenty of media to entertain ourselves, and a bulletin board to browse the local goings ons. Before even one buttcheek started to go numb, were greeted an escorted to their designated workspace and then instantaneously given all the info we sought in a clear and understanding manner.

I really wish I could give a 1 star. This bank does NOT care about its members at all. First I’m going in and paying a lil extra on my loan to try to get it ahead. Instead it stops the monthly withdrawal for the payment because I was paid ahead making my payment history look horrible thanks ladies at the counter for nothing. Then their lien policy allowing anyone to just bankrupt anyone at anytime so if you want to use this bank do not think they will show you ANY loyalty at all....without an 850 credit score that is. I WILL be actively searching out another credit union as this 1 is just a bad joke

They'll keep fraudulent transactions on your account for a whole week before even considering taking action.

Ryan was so great in helping us with our account. Not only that, but he was able to help us get our car refinanced at a better rate! This was a pleasant surprise since we had no plans of doing this today. He took his time with us, explained everything very clearly, and made sure we were happy. Thanks again so much, Ryan! You saved us a lot of money!

So disappointed with MSU Credit Union. I moved to the area and heard nothing but good things about this Credit Union from friends. Yet, my experience today opening up a personal account was horrendous at best. They tried charging me a "donation" of $10 to open an account because I mentioned I was new, moved here, and that I had no family. Because I "didn't have family that had an account with them" I would be required to make a donation of $10. This was absolutely insane as I have been in the working force for 18 years and not once have I ever had to pay such a substantial "fee" to open an account with my hard worked money. On top of that, the lady helping me was incredibly rude so I grabbed back my Michigan ID and left to do business with another bank down the street.

Very convenient federal credit union, walking distance from work and very satisfied their services. Super friendly staffs and tellers. There's coins machine you could deposit or turn into cash, nice waiting area and best thing is you get sit down with teller for any service therefore. I'm very grateful overall.

This is where I opened my first credit card during my freshman year of college and I'm currently a junior but when I tell y'all.... THESE PEOPLE ARE ANGELS SENT FROM HEAVEN! Lol I've never had a bad experience with them and they genuinely care about your well-being. I would recommend ANYONE; student, Lansing/East Lansing Native, etc. to go in and open a account with them. You won't regret it!

I left my last credit to join MSUFCU because they couldn’t come close to the customer service, business accounts, and help to pay off a high-interest credit card. And there are no charges for checks, or cashier checks. And no charges for withdrawals at ATMs. I love this Credit Union!

Worst bank ever, can’t login because they didn’t get my birth date right. Been in there twice when systems go down and got a ticket because it took so long. Was cashing boyfriends check there and 3rd time big bubba manager was extremely rude and acted like a man baby. Told us my boyfriend needed an account to do this anymore. Gave him an application and left it there. Trash bank.
