MPECU W Superior St, Duluth

So, Ive been with this bank for basically a year and a half. Its been great, UNTIL, just recently. So because I had a few times being in the negatives they closed my checking account even though I had just gotten there letter that very day of a LAST CHANCE. So there was no fixing this problem, because I called there yesterday and was told, the letter pretty much didn't matter. Then why send the letter, if your going to close my checking anyway? They were like you've been in the negative since the 7th, the thing is that, Id gotten into an car accident 2 days prior to that. By the time Id have the money to take care of this negative balance was the day they cut off my checking. Do better MPECU. Please.

Credit Unions are the good guys. Banks are the definition of evil. This CU is great, I highly recommend it!

Not sure what the other reviewer is talking about. We've been members for years, and always have had a great experience. Very friendly hard working employees, and they look out for their members. We moved out of Minnesota five years ago and have made a point to keep them as our main bank.

Used MPECU for about 20 years personally and have been pleased with their service. Last couple years with business service as well! Jen Saari is awesome to work with!

Auto loan nightmare. Forced us to pay their auto insurance after I proved we already had full coverage insurance on the vehicle no short of seven times. My agent confirmed, sent policy, and insurance card. Not truthful and continued to change the story when other employee confirmed conversations in notes. Serious competence concerns. Sent cancelation notice to my daughter for not changing over the title fast enough when they forgot to send the lien release to us. Upon talking about this with other MP employees they experienced the same thing. Would not recommend!!!

They were very busy. You need a specific amount of company shares. To set up an account with them.
