Mountaire Farms of Nc NC, Lumber Bridge

From I-95S, I took ext 31 for hwy 20 (coz 71 is closed right by hwy 301) then T/L on hwy 71 and I saw the truck entrance right b4 you get to the Chicken Plant Rd. Got there at 5pm for what was supposed to be a 6pm appt but got loaded at 2am! Then you're supposed to bear left upon leaving to hit the scale then turn back around to check out with security but nobody told me that! They had me find a way of turning around to go back

Guards are all some really decent people here, treated us really good, clean facility from what I could see, only thing I would change is the arrival process, lack of information on load picking up, no working number to call to check on load, and they didn't take my number to call to let me know when it's ready, but on the plus side I'm parked across street and I'll just walk over and check instead of starting my clock, few extra steps are a plus right. So a decent place, if they fixed that I think it would save on a lot of people's opinion. Still five stars because of the employees

Friendly staff helpful staff. Super fast loaded I pick up the load every week . I never wait Ready within 20 to 30 min TRUCKERS 🚛

Incredibly slow hat an open window of 1pm to 12:59am arrived at 6:08pm this not get loaded for 18+ hours to finally get loaded at 12:18pm. Do not think you gonna get in and out it’s not gonna happen in the 2 times I’ve been there it hasn’t happen and me as a driver I will not be back

Great Place to work. Yes the hours are long...but the pay is very good for the Industry.

Loaded pretty quick ,but its norm with all trucks but facility folks nice and informative on where to go and when your done .

Booked the load with TQL. They told me I could come at anytime and get loaded, then on the way here they said the load wouldn’t be ready til 6pm. Got here at 3pm, got the run around because no one knew where I should drop my trailer. Parked across the street and was told they would call me when its done. I never received a call. Decided to go there around 10pm and the gates were closed. Went there at 9am the next morning and had search for my trailer. After finding it, they told me that they didn’t have my paperwork. Avoid this place at all costs. It’s not worth the headache.

I load here weekly, easy check in and out. Friendly people.

As a driver who is hard of hearing I need sometimes a bit help to navigate the enter-load-leave process. At this place of loading I was met with very friendly and helpful people in every department I came during loading who were helpful, friendly and made sure I got in and out quickly and without problems. The only negative thing I can say is that I found no public restroom and the stage parking could use some grading. To the people who work here: A big thank you to all.

Went there to get Thanksgiving meal boxes for needy families. They're operation is well organized. It took less than 30 minutes to get the boxes even with long lines. Great job folks!

This plant is way away from any major city or interstate, only store close is across the road & its strictly a convenience store. Trucks go from 1st guard house to 2nd guard house/scale house to check in/out. After checking they will give you lots of directions. 1st stop is to the lot for empties, drop your trailer then bt to back of plant to the transportation office to get your bills, then go find your loaded trailer. You must scale and go back to 2nd guard house for exit instructions. Pretty easy but lots of steps here due to foot & yard traffic.

All HONESTY... AVOID this place. I don’t see how they still in business. Appt time 12 am this morning. No one was in transportation office at that time. Smh so I went to the truck stop by interstate (9 miles up street) and waited. Got here at 07:00 this morning, checked in around 07:20 and been sitting waiting on a door. It’s now 13:00 and still no door or any update. TERRIBLE signal in the area. And the air smells bad bad. I’ll DEFINITELY decline a load picking up or delivering here in the future. I’ll just take a loss on that compensation.

Loading Friday 5/27/22 checked in 8 pm for a 10pm appointment got a door right away I guess that shipping want to get out early to enjoy the Holidays 💥💥

Night time guard shack isnt Friendly where you check in at. He was too lazy to walk back to the trailer like the other guards. Watch out for Speedy in the Yard Dog...Young fellow is going too fast in the yard. I had to come again today.. little girl in the transportation department where you get your bills need some customer service lessons..look pleasant & greet the drivers.. That isn't hard to do is it?

Each driver has there own experience with this place… here is mine: 10/16/21 - Arrived at 21:40 for a 22:00 appointment (according to IEL). The people we came in contact with were all nice. The staging area was a nightmare, they need a better set up. Checked in and was told they would call when they had a door for us. At 01:25, we received a knock on the window from the yard dog instructing us to proceed to door 9 (no phone call). At 03:39, unloader came out to unlock our airline hose and inform us that they would call us when the paperwork was ready. About 10 minutes later, another yard dog came up to the truck to inform us that the paperwork was ready to pick up at the check in/out gate (again, no phone call). We scaled, picked up the paperwork and were set free at 04:10. Summary of visit: 1. Their phones must have been down 2. Will probably never take another load from here again (not saying never, just probably not. The load would have to pay a lot higher than this trip) 3. Small little Truck Stop across the road to finish out your 10 hr break (free parking)

Dam Brother. This place man this place is horrible 😣 been here since 2:30 pm cause my appt was at 3pm I been here now for more than 6 hrs and still waiting to get a dock Door to get loaded up. Man wish they had a little more better control here over shipping and receiving

Everyone was super nice. Our load wasn't ready till 230pm. Our appointment wasn't until 4pm. But they were nice enough to give us a door at 245pm. We were out of there at 430pm. Thanks.

Place is kind of unorganized. If your picking up from here DO NOT roll your windows down or leave your door open any longer than you have to! The flies are crazy and the smell can make you loose your lunch ona warm day. Staff if very nice tho! Would have given them a higher rating but between the smell and having to spend time getting the flies out of my truck they lost two stars.

Surprisingly nice people. Not really user friendly for a new guy there. Arrived: 2145 (2300 appointment) Standby in the dust bowl: 2200-0515 Loading: 0515-0745 Paperwork and out gate: 0900 *Almost 12hrs

Arrived at 648 pm Nov 2, Tuesday, it's now 208am Wednesday and still no door...... Entrance to plant is now across the street from truck stop 17438 NC 71 and Dollar General..... DB

Waited almost 13 hours to get loaded. This black peterbilt will never be seen on the property again. They owe me 5 stars for remaining calm through this ordeal. Flies are so big they walking around taking donations because they too fat to fly.

Very slow so many trucks and trailer no place to park

Bad luck with this place. Driver picking up load here, product supposed to be ready between 2 a.m. and 6 a.m. per shipper. Arrived at 10:25 a.m., got a door at 12:55 p.m., got loaded at 14:02 p.m., right now 15:22 p.m. and still waiting for the paperwork. So lumpers are really good. But 2H+ waiting for a door and 1H+ waiting for the paperwork. 5H total - still waiting. As a result - 100% missed delivery appointment and messed up clock. Think twice before You go there.

Just finish an the interview got hired on the spot even though I'm a rehire. If you used to work here now is the time to come back. Wish I never left some folks I used to work with still there in the same department lol.
