After searching realtor websites for well over a year, meeting with another realtor (different agency) in person that didn’t seem interested and never followed up with us, we stumbled upon Mountain Scape Realty and was blessed to have Scott Cronk as our realtor. It didn’t take Scott long to realize that I didn’t want just another cabin the the woods mountain home. We wanted a home that could start as a vacation home, but be our permanent home as we transition to the mountains. Scott listen to our wish list and would advise us if the home we had picked out would not meet our desires before spending time to go look at them. When we found our dream house in the woods, Allison worked diligently to make sure all of the little details were handled and consulted with us throughout the process to ensure our preferences were met whenever possible. Joe Chamberlain, Mountainscape Reality, guided us through a quick acquisition of a beautiful West Jefferson, NC cabin. Joe did a great job of working with us on negotiations and inspections. Also he directed us to the only insurance agent at State Farm that would write our home owner’s policy. No other other insurance agents were willing to write the policy on a wood cabin outside of West Jefferson at the time.

I have work with Joe and Mountainscape Realty on two occasions, once 7 years ago when selling a home and most recently this year when purchasing a second home. Joe was tireless in his efforts to find us a property that met our needs and desires. Joe worked hard to coordinate viewing of the property, leading us on virtual tours as we were physically located in Florida during the search process. Once we identified our property Joe worked to get our offer in shape, advising us on how best to structure our deal. During due diligence Joe was a great help coordinating the various inspections needed to complete the transaction. On closing day Joe met us at the closing attorney's office and walked us through the process. This is the first home I've attempted to purchase from such a great distance, I'm sure we could not have completed the purchase without Joe's expert assistance.
