Mountain Heritage FCU 7th St, Parkersburg

I have been with Mountain Heritage FCU since the late 90s. I opened my account at the Kearneysville WV location. Since opening my account, I traveled a great deal with my husband before he passed in 2006. We had moved from WV to Crofton MD, and after he died, I moved to SC. I then moved back to WV, then PA and finally back to MD. Where i have lived since 2008. Now with purchasing my forever home here in PA, in 2020, I am still with them! With my direct deposit, I never needed any other bank because with just a phone call, the employees know me, help me with anything I need and the customer service they provide, I don't WANT another bank. The customer service Mountain Heritage shows, well, its just unbeatable! I will stay with them forever!

I work for a car lot locally, and Mountain Heritage on 7th Street in Parkersburg, WV is one of the most difficult companies I have dealt with in my professional career. For starters, they MAY answer their telephone on the 40th ring IF they feel like it. Or, as I have done 3x already today, you will have to call them repeatedly in order to get someone to answer the phone. The employees do not follow directions or review paperwork properly. They do not return emails, calls, faxes, or any other form of communication. The employees express poor attitudes and lack of motivation. The loan officers do not attempt to help their customers with any sort of discretion, rather they see customers profiles as "black and white". Needless to say, I will not be affiliating with MHFCU again and I will advise anyone who is currently dealing with them, or thinking of dealing with them, that they should direct their business to another company. However, IF you absolutely have to stay with Mountain Heritage, I suggest you work with Joshua. Josh is very helpful, has a positive attitude about work, and is willing to help anyone he can. Thank you.

Been banking here for about 8 years now. Best in parkersburg! I'm not rich but let me say they treat me like I'm a millionaire. Love all the people that work there.

I wish I could give this place 1/2 a star....or less. The service is very untimely and relatively rude. As a local business owner who's business deals in outsourced financing, I have personally dealt with approximately 40 different lenders both locally and non. Mountain Heritage is THE most disrespectful, ill mannered, procrastinating, emotionally distracted 'professional' establishments I have dealt with. After going back and forth with the majority of the staff, you will eventually close a deal that would take the competitor a fraction of the time it takes these fools. My advice to anyone who is thinking of opening an account with this joke of a Credit Union, please, for your sake and the sake off all parties that will be associated with them in the future, take your business elsewhere. I can not express enough the amount of aggravation and lost time this establishment has caused my customers and I. I am dumbfounded that Mountain Heritage Credit Union on 7th Street in Parkersburg, WV is still open

Greatest financial banking institution in the area. CEO is a people person, and as capable as one could be. If you want a great place to do your banking this is it.
