We chose The Mortgage Source for our newly built home. Anyone who has ever had a new home built can attest to how stressful the experience can be, especially in the age of Covid -19. Thanks to the excellent customer care and service provided by Mortgage Source, this was absolutely the least stressful and smoothest part of the home buying process. In particular, I want to call out Andrew Doucette for the fantastic job he did as our loan processor. Drew was professional, informative, detail-oriented, and laser focused on client service. When everything else was in flux, Drew and the team at Mortgage Source were a welcome oasis of calm and competence. You really can't go wrong with them, and I would recommend them to anyone. As a first time home buyer, I could not have been more happy with my experience with Mortgage Source. Andrew, John, and Chelsea did everything possible for us to be able to get the home of our dreams. Andrew was such a joy to work with, he was just as excited for us as we were and always stayed in contact. He is great at communicating and I never once had to pick up the phone to call him first. He was always on top of everything and always answered any questions I had. John was extremely flexible and helped us more than we could ever imagine, and Chelsea worked hard behind the scenes to reassure all the numbers were where they needed to be. Constructing.a new home during the pandemic was quite stressful but fortunately I never had a worry about the mortgage. The housing market is so crazy right now and it is such a relief that we had a great mortgage company to work with. Rates are obviously the driving factor when choosing a lender, but I challenge you to find a team as supportive and accessible throughout the process as well. We recently used the Mortgage Source to purchase our new home. The process was seamless. Everything was completed in a timely fashion. I have gone through the mortgage/home buying process three times and this, by far, was the best and smoothest. The Mortgage Source was lightening fast, very responsive, and just great all around. Chelsea Dean was awesome and worked very hard to ensure I received a very competitive mortgage interest rate, even in this crazy market. Shane Donahoe walked me through the process, making paperwork review and signing super easy and QUICK. The whole process maybe took 21 days--truly unbelievable and importantly, I did not feel rushed. I finished up the process with Andrew Doucette who was just as helpful, as Shane. The Mortgage Source Team is just the B-E-S-T, BEST! I have worked with one lender for all my transactions. We relocated and went with mortgage source as they were a local lender in our area. let me tell you- A LOT easier than "my guy". We had a little mess on our hands with reporting errors and their whole team took care of these issues without a hiccup! I will keep my business with them down the road if needed!

Trying to buy in this market is tough. We spoke to multiple lenders through this process. There was not even a close second to the kind of service we received through Mortgage Source in Jasper. The rate was as good or better than other offers. The process was smooth with constant updates on the progress of our loan (packaged in a concise checklist format so we always knew what had been done and what was happening next). And most importantly, since we had not been home buyers in many years, they communicated well. The vast majority of the time I spoke immediately to Drew (office administrator) or Chelsea (our mortgage agent). They were even available by text. And best of all, even though my wife and I could tell they were always busy, they were patient and clear in their responses. Finally as a pastor, the income verification is complex (similar to being self employed). In the past I have had to walk agents through the distinctions with many close calls. I did not with Chelsea and Drew. They were on top of things from the very beginning.

I can sincerely say this was one of the best and smoothest experiences! John was incredible to start and made sure I understood everything and everything was very well explained to me. This was not my first experience with John and Mortgage Source. I did a refinance with them about 5 years ago and was very impressed by the personalized service and efficiency of their operation. Andrew was my loan processor for my mortage and I can whole heartily reccomend him and the Mortage Source. Andrew made sure he always kept me up to date with latest information for me, as well as the documents he needed me to sign. The week before closing m realtor was unavailable and there was an issue with the closing date, so Andrew coordinated with the seller to get everyone on board so that they wasn't any confusion, and once my realtor came back the amending documents drawn up. Andrew is very knowledgeable, and had no problems answering my many questions. Finally the initial quote for my monthly payment and cash to close was spot on. I was really nervous about the homebuilt process, but thanks to the Mortage Source and Andrew, this process was a breeze.
