To make our offer more attractive, we set the closing date within a month. I was a little worried that we might not be able to close on time. It turned out the loan was clear to close before the schedule! I didn't even need to check the progress of the loan because I would receive an update from time to time. Awesome service! Dale Noble and Ben Potoczny provided real-time feedback, communication and support. The automated communication also keeps the client informed of where she is in the process. Our refinancing took a little over a month and went very smoothly. One improvement would be to remind clients that the final closing costs will likely include costs like accrued interest on the previous mortgage in addition to their costs. This is a minor issue and I should have remembered it myself.

The process was fairly easy. Andrea, my loan officer was amazing and usually responds in a timely manner. I was updated along the way through their app. Overall the process took approximately 2 months. The interest rate was also great.

These guys absolutely rock Aundi Grondahl particularly! As first timers she held our hand the entire way throught. She texted nights weekends, Christmas eve and Christmas through new year day. I worked with Lori Lynn: she was exceptionally fast (calling us the moment she received updates and even calling us from the airport on one instance), very clear in her communications and was able to illustrate what options were best for us. In one case, we asked her to investigate a loan type (VA) that we were considering. She said they haven't been viable for people in our position in years, and yet she still looked it up and found that it was competitive in our situation. I admire her investigating it, even though she was almost positive it wasn't in our best interest and then her ability to correct her assumption. It was that diligence and professionalism that made it a joy to work with her.

Just did a closing on a home 2 weeks ago. Javier De Guilhem was my senior loan originator, he was recommended by a family friend and it was the smoothest experience being this my first home purchase, he answered every question I had in detail. I recommend this Mortgage company solely based on how everything was explained throughly and the customer service from Javier was great.

I did the loan with MLD and the loan application process was good. But when I sold my home and wanted to inquire the fee charged for payoff (no such thing indicated in the loan commitment letter) and ask when I will receive the money in my escrow account (4 weeks after the closing date and I still did not get the refund!) I realized that they DO NOT have live person to answer the phone call or reply to email inquiry! Tried all means but can't get a live agent at all. VERY frustrated!

Marianne Caprino and her team at The Money Store were wonderful to work with! They were very quick to respond and worked overtime to help us close escrow in time. They were so encouraging along the way. They went above and beyond! I would definitely recommend.

My loan has been delayed by 60 days. It took 120 days for MLD to process my refinance because of short staff, however they kept their rate lock and did not charge even after 120 days.. I was charged a rate lock extension fee but as the delay was from MLD they removed the charges. What could have been better? - Loan officer communication and keeping us informed on the delays. - Applicant has to reach out multiple times to request for updates. - No clear cut instructions on closure date and process of closure. What went well? - Notary came to the place of our choice which helped a lot. - Accuracy of the loan information. No hidden charges. - Doc sign and app that lists all the pending tasks and who is it pending with.. Looking to see how their service will be post refinance.

My experience with The Money Store (MLD) was essentially excellent. I would have given them 5 stars if communications over the long time of waiting for my refi approval been more forthcoming. Other than that, I have no other criticism, and found from start to finish, MLD provided a product in the end that was initially as promised and ultimately delivered to my full satisfaction! I believe they are a fair and responsible corporate citizen wanting to help their customers!

Ashley Banks from MLD did a great job in communicating, and also my many questions. There is a lot of garbage refinancing out there where mortgage lenders just take your equity so you can restart the clock and pay $50 less. I got a streamline mortgage through MLD, did not lose equity (considering two months no mortgage payment), pay more principal off with the new terms from getgo and save $250 in interest right off the bat. My P&I reduced from 1060 to 816. No closing costs to me. Great terms. From 1694 to 1450 ... Just need to get a better home insurance and i can shave another 40 off. Thank you. 2.325 effective APR 30 yrs fixed

Overall, and at the end, I was pleased with this company. I wish they had been better communicators, though. There were some steps which were very unclear and caused me stress and delay in the process. Some of the issues were knowing which dox to upload on their secure site. It was very unclear what I had to upload until finally someone said to ignore certain things. Nearing the end, similar issues arose when they had two agents working my case and I'd send or ask something. I wish they had someone who knew how to streamline and help the financially uninitiated with the process.

Very grateful to have a great rate of 2.75 Have had numerous mortgages and found this experience challenging. at 65 years old times have changed and the personal touch i have been used to is replaced by emails and portals and digital signatures. They processed my refinance quickly but ended up mailing all of the closing documents, the first month mortgage info, and a notice that the mortgage was being sold the wrong address. This was after I made sure ask them multiple times through out the closing process to fix the mailing address. I would not recommend the money store to my friends and family.
