Changing CPA to scammers would be more accurate. If I could give them 0 stars I would. It is an absolute living nightmare working with these people. I run my own small business and have never had to hire a CPA so I was unsure how the process and pricing worked. They OVERCHARGE like crazy to do nothing. I paid them $5,000 to file my 2020 and 2021 taxes as well as bookkeeping. They did NONE of that!! I found out they didn’t file my 2020 taxes through the IRS at the end of 2021 because I got fees and penalties even though they told me they filed them. When I asked them why they didn’t file she said she didn’t have an answer for me. I had to constantly call and email them to get answers. The male worker is absolutely clueless and gave me such bad information while the female is horrible, ghosted my emails and phone calls for months. I was fooled by the reviews and didn’t take the bad ones seriously. PLEASE save your time, money and mental health by never hiring them. They stole $5,000 from me to do no work and I had to pay penalties because of their negligence. How this place is still in business and has their license is beyond me

The staff at Mildred Esua was great. Easy to get in contact with, Very knowledgeable, and Diligent. The main thing I like most is the Honesty. The company is built on honesty and integrity.

This was my first time needing a CPA. I had a complicated tax return due to living in the USVI and going through a hurricane. I had the most wonderful time working with Wilson and Mildrid. I would give zero stars if I could. Steer clear of this firm. They are very unprofessional and have no knowledge of taxes at all. The whole process of dealing with them was exhausting. After my initial consultation, I had to continually bring documents to the office. Luckily, I submitted copies because there was an incident where I was told that my documents were accidentally shredded and they would need me to provide them with another copy. Every time you call with a question, there is a new employee who has no idea of what is going on. It is now a year later and I am still receiving notifications from the IRS about incomplete forms and monies owed for tax year 2020. I have called the firm, Mildred Esua, CPA, PLLC on several occasions pertaining to these matters. All I am told is the he “her husband” is in a meeting and someone will get back to me. No one ever gets back to you. I had to be very persistent to finally speak to someone which turned out to be his wife. Wilson Esua was the one to completed my taxes but when you have an issue, his wife is the one who addresses it. Needless to say, being that she did not do the work, she has no knowledge of what is going on. When she gets flustered because of this, her only recourse is to hang up on you. I was also promised a refund that I never received. I am now paying a reputable firm to amend the mess that was made by this amateur firm. I could go on but the picture should be clear. If you want your taxes done properly, please do not hire anyone at MILDRED ESUA, CPA. I was fooled by their rating. Hopefully, you will not be as well.

Wonderful experience, scheduling was easy and they where able to get me n appointment fairly quickly. They offered me both in person and online. The meeting went very well and all my questions where answered (even the ones I though where stupid) and Mr. Esua gave clear and concise answers without judgment. Highly recommend this for any small business owners with questions/service needs!

My husband and I have been very happy with the services with Wilson. He has been great. He has stayed in contact with us through the whole process. He returns our calls and emails very promptly if we can’t reach him. He doesn’t always just talk business with us but always makes sure as a family that we are ok.
