    Would be great if we could get another branch out here on the East side of town in Lawrence. Its a 35 minute drive now for me and with gas prices that stings a bit. Other than that great bank and love it, But might have to change banks dew to how far it is from me now.

    Class action lawsuit! I left this bank because they will hit you with every possible charge. Even if you close the account, they will keep adding charges. They are now getting sued for basically stealing. Go anywhere else. The person replying to reviews has never called. They don’t care. CapOne has been sooo much better.

    This institution placed a 7 day hold on a deposited check when was told that it would only be 2 days. Upon looking at the policies and laws regarding holds on checks, I did not qualify for "exceptions" or reasons why an extended hold would be justified. Will be closing my account and will encourage anyone to find a different institution if you dont want deposited checks held for 10 calendar days for no reason.

    I definitely regret banking with this company. They apparently don't realize a global pandemic is happening and are offering zero assistance in times of need. Called to ask for some help and they told me to " go donate plasma or ask friends for money". Wow, just wow. Literally every other company out right now is "if you've been affected by covid, we're here to help" well not this company. They could care less about you. I will be leaving as soon as possible. I do not recommend you bank here or get a loan through them, they don't give a damn about you, just the money you have.

    I am very unhappy with this bank. I closed my checking account with them and I’ll be refinancing my mortgage with someone else as soon as it makes sense to do so. I liked Hakan Wildcat but this bank can’t do very basic services and I never had any problem at Central Bank of the Midwest.

    The in person customer service is awesome and they are super helpful. The online banking app is super easy and so quick for any check deposits or transfers. The telephone line and the fact that they only have one branch in town that has been closed a lot is definitely the worst part!

    I love the bank, the app the staff. But if I call the bank I want someone at the bank to answer not a 5 minute robot followed by some random person across the country, I feel like being able to call ur bank and talk to someone at the bank is something that most call standard:(

    This bank is soooo lazy! They don’t even have a teller through the drive thru. It’s a joke! Now I have to trust a machine with my money??? Absolutely not because that machine just “missed” counting $100. Get some staff in the drive-thru line, Meritrust; because right now I don’t TRUST you!

    They used to be a great place to bank! Not anymore! The ladies were always so happy and they helped you out when you needed anything! They didn't tell you to go donate plasma, or drive for Uber! Their rules have changed since the beginning and their customer service has gone from 5 stars to 1. I am going to chime it, once I get everything squared up!

    With Sunflower bank just down the road there’s not much reason to come here. Had to open an account here out of a necessity and it’s been awful service ever since. People are fairly nice for the most part, just bad service. Use another bank.
