    Jason made the “new car buying experience” so much easier and more enjoyable than I had anticipated. I didn’t feel pushed or rushed at all. Recently, I had to go to a different car dealership and pick up some paperwork for my dad. HUGE difference in the atmosphere and the attitude of the salesmen there. One was particularly rude to me. That didn’t go over well. The Long dealership has perfected its customer service…keep up the good work! Thank you for being so personable and helpful. I absolutely LOVE my new Santa Fe!! Long of Chattanooga is definitely the exception to the rule!👍💖

    We recently were in the market for a car after ours was totaled. We found two vehicles at Mercedes Benz of Chattanooga on a Sunday. Sev was the sales rep that assisted us. He was great. Very informative, polite, and not the least bit pushy. The dealership treated us like we were buying a 135K vehicle and were not. I have never had a better car buying experience than that one. Hats off to the Sev, Jason Williams, and the dealership for having such great customer service.

Eddie was very considerate and helpful. He quickly returned all my text and phone calls. He was very knowledgeable and offered sound advice.     It has been easy to schedule service appointments. All service reps ( Trevor, Mary Beth and Steve) have been very knowledgeable. They are not afraid to reach out to the tech to have any fault codes explained. Pricing has been fair, service has been timely.     It was a very busy day with lots of cars and people to attend to. The service staff, Dan for me, were amazing! They made sure they came and visited with each person in the waiting area to explain about their car. They even sat down like it was a casual chat or ask them to come over to their offices. In the end, I was not feeling well and Dan rushed things for me to get me out of there quickly. The special attention and concern was much appreciated!

    I came in to get my XC40 serviced at Volvo and walked over to Mercedes to waste some time. Aaron saw me looking and BOOM! Just like that he had me sitting in a car that would be perfect for my Mom! As my car was still in service, he allowed me to take a comparable car on the lot to pick up my mom and bring her in.     We drove several hours to purchase a certified pre-owned 2016 Mercedes SLK 350. I contacted a salesperson ahead of time (Haley) and was very clear that I wanted to know whether the car had any blemishes or defects and to please send me photos of the defects. Her response was the car was "PERFECT not a scratch or a blemish to be found." We didn't expect the car to be perfect, it is used, but I did expect the staff to be honest and not misrepresent the car. The car unfortunately had several defects that were obvious to anyone that cared to look. I should have taken more pictures but the one of the wheel pretty much sums it up. Not at all what I would expect from a certified pre-owned Mercedes.

Aaron greeted us as we entered. and after asking how he could help, he proceeded to show us the vehicles we were interested in and throughly explained the differences.     Do not, I repeat do not buy the prepaid maintenance plan with Long Mercedes or any Mercedes in general. We purchased it brand new last year with our car and didn’t even get the chance to use it 1 time before having to upgrade to a larger vehicle. Come to find out the dealer doesn’t tell you that the plan sticks with the vehicle for life. So we got screwed out of $2000+ dollars from them. The dealer could have easily told us about this when we was purchasing but did not. When we was talking to Chad in finance about it he also said we were not the first ones having this issue that he was also working with 2 other clients with this same issue. If you want to throw money down the drain the buy it. Would love to see a reply but there won’t be any reply to this review and if there is Chad in finance has my cell number. Better yet would love to hear the owner step in and do the right thing but he got his free cash from us so it’s a done deal in their books. Update 2/25/21 I contacted MBUSA and spoke with 3 separate reps and everyone of the. Said the prepaid maintenance plan is a plan that is independently given by each dealer so it has nothing to do with Mercedes but solely upon the dealer itself. I also reread all the terms and agreements and there is nothing stating in them about the plan not being refundable.

I visited the dealership a day early than scheduled just to take a look at what I may be interested in purchasing and while there, Mr. Odom acknowledge my presence, he introduced me to both the office manager and the finance manager. When I returned the next day on my scheduled time I was addressed as Ms. Cameron, from the managers that I had met the day before (very impressive).     I can't say enough about the staff here. I couldn't get away from work so the Sales Manager Jason drove the car to me to drive. Talk about a personal touch! He also allowed me to text him to work out the details of the deal. James Odom delivered my new car to me the next day and he was such an amazing professional.     I have waited a little over three weeks after my purchase to write and post this review. This was the first time I have purchased a Mercedes from a dealership and Tyson was my salesperson. I will say right up front that the purchase experience was made smooth and easy by Tyson as was the financing. The reason for my two star rating comes in with my lack of service after the sale, which to me is more important than the sale. I purchased a pre-owned GLK 350 and love it. It came with three matching tires and one odd one so my husband wanted to rotate the odd one to the back. That is when we discovered that the wheel lug nut key was missing from the safety kit. I immediately contacted Tyson (a few times by text). He did text me back on one occasion and called me once. He requested that we confirm our missing key and text him again. I confirmed the key was indeed missing and texted him. After waiting a week for a response, I called the dealership and was assured that Jason, the sales manager would call me back that day. I did not receive a call from Jason so I called again the following day and was told he was at an auction but would call me that afternoon. That was July 15 and I am still waiting on that call. I understand that they might not have been able to replace the missing key but since this was a safety issue (I can't take the tire off without it) I thought they would have cared enough about their customers to at least call me back or offer to order a key. What if I have a blowout? This whole issue has given me doubts about this dealership's concern for their customers, especially after they have made a sale.

    Came to the dealership to have our existing car serviced and decided to look at new cars while waiting. Drew was our sales associate and was fantastic. He was very patient with us, as I asked a lot of questions. I told him that I had been looking at this model for a while but I wanted to test drive other SUVs just to make sure. He even walked me next-door to the Volvo dealer so that I could test drive one of their SUVs. We ended up purchasing that day after driving around looking at BMW, Volvo and Audi. Drew wanted to make sure we were happy with our decision and was not pushy at all. It was a very long day for Drew and we appreciate his level of service in dealing with us. Overall great experience with the sale as well as the service department that took care of our other car that day! I should mention we drove from Alabama because we did not receive this level of service at our local dealership.

    My mother, a senior citizen whose English is poor, purchased a new 2018 Hyundai Elantra from Long of Chattanooga. On February 2nd, 2022, the same dealership performed an oil change on her vehicle. On February 26th, She noticed there was some oil stain on her parking spot. When she opened the hood, she saw oil splashed all over the components since the mechanic forgot to put the oil cap back on after the oil change. She had to add more than 3 quarts of oil to bring the level back to normal, which demonstrates more than 2/3 of the oil was lost. Such an incident could be extremely detrimental to the engine and other components. We want to discuss with the dealership how to move forward and clean up the mess under the hood. On Feb. 28th, we reached out to the dealership and left the inquiry on its website. Without getting any response, we called the dealership on March 4th and was told Mr. John Rose is the person of contact. We left him a voice mail and Emailed him the details, images of the incident, and receipts of the oil change. Without any responses from the dealership, we kept calling on 8th, 11th and left voicemails without any success. On March 18th, we talked to the general manager of the Long of the Chattanooga and was told John Rose will contact us the following Monday. After another week of silence, we called again and finally reached John Rose on April 1st. We were told he needs to retrieve the files and will call us back in a few minutes. After waiting for an hour, we called back and was told he already left home for the day. After leaving him yet another voicemail, we have not heard anything since then. We are very disappointed by the dealership’s behavior, it’s not that they disagree with us on how to resolve the issue, they are simply ignoring us and tried to just bury it with our exhaustion. Their strategy is to kill the issue before we are even at the stage of discussing a path forward. Minimal effort on their side while maximizing our exhaustion. In the meantime, all the belts, seals and electronics cases are soaked in oil and the oil burns on the engine exhaust to cake up carbons.

    My wife and I bought a used 2014 Suburban from Long s few days before going on vacation and had mentioned to them the importance of a safe reliable road car. Before we took delivery , we asked them to check out the frontend/suspension because it handled like a boat. The vehicle would drift from lane to lane and was dangerous in my opinion to drive. It also has a "clunking" noise in the rearend. We waited two days while their mechanic checked it out and was told the front end was out of alignment and that it had since been corrected and was all "good to go" Since we only live a few miles away from the dealership we never got the vehicle over 45 mph on our way home. Loaded up our stuff and took off. A short time into our drive, the vehicle got so out of control i thought we were going to crash. Half way into our first day, the "check engine" light came on so I messaged Dale Reese about it and he said to call him when we made it home. I was able to find a place to have them hook up to read the code and turns out to be 2 (two) oxygen sensors. Driving a newly purchased car with a check engine light on is no fun especially when you're 500 miles from home. When we made it home I called Dale who wanted to have me schedule a time to bring it in. When I asked about the cost of diagnosing he stated there was no charge to read the codes but any work after that could be upwards of $150 per hour plus parts. Sooo, okay I see they're not going to help at all here. WE took it the next day to our local trusted mechanic to have the steering/handling checked out Was told it needed a new rear differential, and new shocks on the rear and struts on the front as this was what's causing the poor handling. I contacted Dale and Jason W to let them know what was going on. They completely ignored me so i messaged them again and was once again ignored by both Here we are two weeks later and no word from either and I'm looking at $3k plus in repairs without the Oxygen sensors being addressed I'd expect more courtesy but after the sell is complete, so is all of their concern!

    Every experience with this dealership has been professional and friendly. Even when I felt like I wasn't having a great experience, the Long team listened and made it great. They definitely care about you, your vehicle, and the service they deliver. Case in point: I have a 2011 MB GLK 4-Matic that I bought Pre-owned from Long in 2012. In truth, the GLK is not an expensive Mercedes, but they always treat me like I'm driving a "G-Wagon". After having surgery, my partner was going to drive us for a few errands. As soon as we cranked up and headed out the driveway >> Check Engine light came on and the truck ran rough. We parked it. MB roadside assist came and towed my GLK to Long. Long took care of the issue, keeping me in the loop the entire time. And since I could not drive, Mary Beth made sure they could return the vehicle to my house. Remember, my GLK is 10+ yrs old and no longer part of the MB line-up. This was such a blessing for me. THANK YOU LONG OF CHATTANOOGA!!

    Poor customer service. If I could give them 0 stars I would. We purchased a 2020 Mercedes GLC in May 2020 and with the vehicle we bought the extended warranty, dent repair and prepaid maintenance plan. At the time of purchase, we were told that If we ever sold or traded the car that these plans would be prorated and depending on the usage we would be refunded all or some of the money. In January 2021, we traded the vehicle because we needed something bigger for our family. To my surprise I was told the prepaid maintenance plan was non refundable. We were not told this at time of purchase. After waiting 4 weeks and constantly calling the financial service department at Long who very rarely would take or return my calls, we were finally given a final answer that none of our unused $2050 maintenance plan would be refunded. This is very disappointing because we were not told this upfront. In the future, we will not purchase another vehicle from any Long dealership and will not recommend them to any family or friends. Also we do not recommend anyone purchasing the prepaid maintenance plan especially if there’s a chance you may not use it. So I guess we gave Mercedes a $2050 donation

    I bought a 2013 Ford Escape October of 2020. Vehicle had a little over 30k miles on it. I purchased the car in full via cash and they had a bad attitude about having to count the money prior to closing (I was coming from Knoxville. If they don't like counting cash they could get a money counter or tell me they preferred cashiers check before my drive. The salesman said it would be perfectly fine payment method. Nonetheless, The airbag light was on on test drive, and the sales rep said the vehicle had not been wrecked before. Carfax is clean. However, we went to fix the sunroof due to it not operating and upon inspection the side airbag curtains were cut on the drive side. Manually done. It was a 1 owner car when I purchased it. The dealership claimed their inspections everything was in good working order & at the time of purchase we didn't test sunroof. The sunroof never worked when I purchased it, and we were fine with that. However, over time water had started to get in and the sunroof turned out to be slightly open. The main wires are not connected to the sunroof panel and that would require the main harness to be replaced to do it the correct way. Very extensive according to the local ford dealership. After we bought it the hood latch quit working quickly after and Long of Chattanoga dealership refunded us the amount it cost to fix. around 300 dollars so that is admirable. Nonetheless, we were told the car was sound and only had some minor cosmetic defects, which we were buying for the low milage, so we didn't mind the cosmetic. However, these issues were much more profound. Not sure if it is a 1st year ford new model issue, or a dealership not being forthright about the condition of the car. Altogether car's engine is still running fine, but the lack of honesty was disappointing
