I have been in a few times where I witnessed one of the employees who I think is named Kaci being very rude and unprofessional. We like doing our banking at the Chico location but I do not like the way she treats people. She seems to think she is better than others especially if someone has questions

I've been a member here (at the Chico branch) for many years and have had nothing but positive experiences. There's rarely a line to see a teller, and everyone in the office is friendly and helpful. Credit unions are local, member-owned non-profits. Banks are large corporations that exist solely to make as much money as possible. So credit unions have a much nicer vibe.

While friendly their business model is rather odd. I asked for a loan for less than half of my deposited total and was denied without explanation.

I am a new member and couldn't find my account # to pay a bill. I have talked to dozens of people, transfer after transfer just to find it out. Even though I provided all my personal info they said they couldn`t tell me my account # and I would have to find a branch. Called the next day and could not even get a person to talk to and gave up. Day 3, I finally got a person (after at least 5 times of calling and numerous times of being transferred/recalling just in that day). A rep told me my account info finally and it would not work for paying my bill online or through the phone. I had to once again call back, and after being transferred another 3 times, I was finally able to find someone who could help with my payment. She said the system has not been working through the phone because it duplicates zeros but that is not it because it happened online too. I`ve spent hours this week dealing with this and it has been frustrating. So far, this experience has been the opposite of pleasant and I would not recommend.
Yikes Ali, this is a terrible first impression on our part, and I'm sad you've had to experience. I can assure you, this is not the customary level of member service that you'll experience moving forward. I would certainly like to have one of our MSRs follow up with you regarding your account information and payment options for your loan to find the most convenient option for you. What is your preferred method of contact?

Excellent customer service and deals for members. Paid off my first loan with them and it was pretty easy to set up everything online. Weekend hours would be very helpful!
