I’m so happy that I was referred to Melissa by my realtor. She was very attentive and gave thorough responses to my questions. She is very professional and detail oriented. After bidding on 5 homes, my 6th offer on a home was approved and it was mostly due to the fact that Melissa was listed as my mortgage lender and she has a great reputation. She was like an angel during this stressful home buying process and definitely put my mind at ease. I’m very thankful for her and highly recommend her.

Melissa and I worked together A LONG TIME AGO! in banking. The bank was bought and everyone went their separate ways. On occasion we would get together, a bunch of former employees. I had moved to Texas, from Illinois and was back in Illinois for a weekend. By chance, the former employees were gathering again. Melissa was there and I asked if she could finance me in Texas when I purchased. You would’ve never known we were 900 miles apart. The process was very smooth, from start to finish. Communication from Melissa and her team was great. Melissa kept in touch with me during the process to ensure I was comfortable with each step. It was great to work with Melissa. BEWARE! Bad experience working with Melissa Griffey @ Guaranteed Rate in Geneva. Doesn't answer phone calls, Text messages, emails. I started my home refinance Process with Melissa over 6 months ago and nothing was accomplished, She even ran Credit twice! She made it clear she didn't want to HELP me with my home Refinance, POOR communication! I do not recommend.

Melissa is flat out the best lender that I have ever worked with. I've purchased 5 houses in my life, and this purchase was 100% the easiest and I owe it all to Melissa. She and her team are absolutely incredible and I would recommend her to anyone (and have!).
