Mechanics Bank - Paso Robles Branch Spring St, Paso Robles

WORST SERVICE EVER!!!!!!! I deposit money into a certain account all the time but at another branch. The one time I decide to come to this branch I’m out of my deposit and now overdrawn on an account I have never been overdrawn on before. One problem is being delt with but that still leaves my deposit which the manager will not clear even though it was clearly a teller error.

1.0 star rating 1/14/2018 UPDATE: My mom just received a letter that after reviewing the dispute they have determined that the charge was OK and they are not returning the $486 nor the $35 overdraft fee to my mom's account. WHAT??? She specifically told the company to NOT charge her card the money and asked them to delete her Card # from the system so that a charge wouldn't occur. They charged her anyways and her bank is not backing her up. Terrible!! Their customer service has been horrific from the start and she has decided to closer her Rabobank account and open up a Chase account instead. I've had no issue with chase and feel they would back her up. When I went to the Paso Robles branch to express my concerns about an unauthorized charge on my mom's account the branch manager, Ana was very rude to us and her staff. I felt so bad about how she treated her teller, who had been very kind and helpful. I can't believe that such a rude woman is the branch manager.

The employees in Paso have been great. BUT had to deal with the main office to access my online account. Absolutely the WORST customer service. Changing banks today!

Ditto, the bank manager and her rules are rude and obstreperous. I have had nothing but great experiences with everybody else. Have been with that chain that keeps getting passed along forever. I to go Templeton.

What a real home-town bank is supposed to be. Very helpful, professional, courteous and friendly. Really helped our company grow!

If I could give no stars I would. Anna (manager?) is so rude and evasive. I called 20 times and let it ring for 5 min each time and got no answer until finally she picked up and was the most rude person that I have dealt with. How can she be employed here?? She tried giving me financial advice while refusing to tell me whether or not they have my deposit. She took my number and then never called back. I hat to call another 20 times to get her again and then she told me I had to wait another 24 hours because she couldn’t do anything for me. Corporate directed me to call the branch and she basically gave me no information. This is the person we are trusting to manage our money that we work for? I could not even count on her to answer the phone. Do not bank here.

I went to my local Rabobank last week and exchanged a $20.00 bill for 2 rolls of quarters. I went in today to get 1 roll of quarters and I had my money ready to exchange. The teller asked me what my account number was. When I explained that I did not bank there I was told that is it against store policy to exchange money. That's just unfriendly and makes no sense. I guess customer service is only available if you have an account there/

I have been a customer for many years @ Robo Bank Paso Robles ca spring st. And I must say Kathy Granger is ALWAYS so polite and ready to help me. She is amazing and what an accent to your business. It is employees such as Kathy that make me keep coming back. Thank you Kathy for all your help through out the years.... Extremely satisfied customer.

New ownership. Now they have poor customer service and they "nickel and dime" you with fees. There are plenty of better banks in town.

I've always had a normal experience with them. What else could you ask of a bank?
