You want to pay down a debt with Mechanics bank? Don't count on it to be done in a timely manner. They take entirely way too long when you post a payment. This happened for a mortgage client of mine. She needed a payment to go through to pay down her debt to qualify for a mortgage loan, and it took 5+ days for the payment to post. When we would call for help they refused to help. Even when we explained the urgency, they said we had to "wait in line." They would not forward us to a manager, they replied there was no way for us to speak to a manager. I would NEVER get a loan with this bank. Reading all the negative reviews makes PERFECT SENSE. The service here is one of the worst I've experienced.

I would rate 0 stars if I could but literally the worst bank you can ever take a loan from, there office is so unorganized that when you want to speak to a representative it takes so many steps just to even get to that, not to mention their interest rate is 14% don’t waste your guys time and more importantly don’t waste your guys money. This bank is so not worth it, you’re literally just throwing your money away, biggest life lesson I’ve ever learned after taking a loan from this bank

Horrible!!! My husband has a truck under them and I have a have a Ford Escape. I always make my payments on time and receive confirmations from them. Up until recently I always had to input the routing and account #. They finally made an option to save your info. It turns out I saved the info incorrectly. But still I would get a confirmation that my payment was made. My husband got a very rude call from them. He was treated like someone who is trying to avoid paying his bills. I went online and made the payment and it was reversed again. I didn’t find this out until I went onto their website through a laptop. Since you can’t see your transaction history through mobile. The messed up part is that they took the time to call us to treat us disrespectfully and not to inform us about how to resolve the problem. I had to call them and wait on hold to figure it out. They charged me a $10 fee to use my debit and still failed to charge me the late fee when I asked them too. So it rolled over to next month. Of course they don’t inform us of the problem. It benefits them to charge late fees, extra money for them.

Called 3 times to verify whether or not my payoff check had been received, each time they told me no. Then less than 24 hours after my phone call my check had been cashed by them. Also sent a complaint to their customer service email telling them about my experience and how I had been lied to. The response I got from the email was to call their customer service.....

Worst Car Loan ever. I always did my payments on time, when the pandemic started I started to struggle to keep up with payments to do lack of work and I asked numerous times if they can give me more time or if they have a covid relief program but they were always rude and said NO! Straight up NO and if I was going to pay or not the car getting impounded. Guess what car got impounded a customer service will always call me and I’ll call back leave voicemails to let them know how I can resolves this and nothing until one day I came home and car gone. I tried calling and all they do is transfer and transfer can’t resolve anything. I have another car loan with Santander Consumers way better they offer covid relief understand what’s going on. I DONT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY AT ALL.

CRB Auto have now changed their name to "Mechanics Bank Auto Finance" - I would imagine to hide their sins, but it's the same company and the same absolutely awful service. AVOID!!!!! Terrible, unprofessional and not worth the ink to sign the contract. Do not use this company, when I purchased a car the dealership they used CRB Auto to arrange the finance. Since then Iv experienced non stop issues, they have not once replied to an email, they have blocked my online account due to an ongoing issue. This forces me to call whenever I need something, and have to explain my situation every time I call which is very frustrating and a waste of time. The staff are so unhelpful and the simplest task take such a long time. There are always just problems and never solutions, they put you on hold for ages just for the line to drop, I do not trust them at all. Soon as I can I will be refinancing elsewhere.

PLEASE PLEASE stay away from this bank! In my lifetime experience with car loans this is at the bottom by far. They are actually very disrespectful how greedy they are. We struggled to make payments due to job loss during the pandemic. I asked multiple times for help and any assistance but I got nothing. In fact they were always looking to make more money. I have over $500 in late fees that they will not waive no matter how much I asked or what my situation is. It’s just not right to be this greedy, I hope they all lose jobs and close and it will happen it’s just a metter of time. I’m running from them asap!!

Worst bank to do business with. Used them as a pre approval through a dealer, you will have to call hundreds of times just to get someone on the phone. Double check your double checks… verify your payments go through and don’t expect a call back if you choose that option on the waiting list. Literally the worst experience… ever.

When I went to purchase my 2003 F350 from the car lot in Lynnwood I was offered two loan options, I went with CRB Auto (then changed to Mechanics Bank). I got a low monthly payment, reasonable interest rate, and I made a truck payment at least twice a month. I paid the truck off early! Great bank to work with!!

Reading all the reviews and I can see I'm not alone. This company has horrible customer service. I fell behind on my payments and when I called to catch up, the customer service rep was very demeaning about my missed payments even though I had everything I owed them and was calling to make the full payment. Fast forward, I paid my loan off with them almost 1 1/2 years early and they gladly took my money, but refuse to provide me payoff documents. Their customer service tells you whatever it takes to get off the phone with you and never gets back to you as they promise. I've been given multiple dates on when I will be given my statement with each one passing and finally I got the 20 day release explanation from them and that everything will be posted online/mailed out when ready. The clock is still ticking and nothing online or in the mail yet. One customer service rep asked me to give them my account login information so they could see for themselves what I was seeing when I logged on. This bad experience with them will never be forgotten and next time I finance a vehicle, I will not have this company be my lender.

If you're looking to drop you credit score by a couple hundred points, get a loan from this company! They will randomly cancel your auto pay and then report your credit as past due without contacting you.

Absolutely the worst loan company. I bought a car from Toyota and they sold my loan to CRB auto. When I paid my loan off they refused to give me a "Paid In Full" letter and said I had to wait 21 business days to receive one in the mail. It's now been 37 days and I have still not received the letter. Every time I call they tell me there's nothing they can do. Because if this I cannot receive a refund on the warranty for my car until I can provide the paid-in-full letter and every day that ticks by I get less of my $$ back from the warranty.

Unprofessional and unorganized. They called me and left a voicemail to call their impound dept. There is no option on their phone tree to select depts though... You’re forced to talk to access the self service phone tree in order to get their initial intake dept or whatever that is completely clueless. Common sense is lacking here is the best way to put it!! My car wasn’t impounded. They had their records mixed up. What a joke. All that anxiety for nothing!
