I’m so happy with the service from McClurg Remodeling. There was water leaking behind the siding of our house. Ryan and Steve did a great job investigating the problem and making the necessary repairs. They were great to work with from start to finish. The job ended up taking less time, and costing a lot less than I was expecting. What a pleasant surprise!

McClurg has remodeled almost my entire home. There is never a job too small or too large. They do the work right the first time and stand behind their work. I’ve been a client for 10+ years and wouldn’t call anyone else.

Spoke with McClurg about both a kitchen and bathroom remodel; however, I will focus on the bathroom remodel as it is the most ridiculous. The current bathroom is 5x9ft (including existing tub). The requested changes: 1. Replace existing tub, surround, and fixtures 2. New tile flooring ~35sqft 3. Paint That was all. No sink, toilet, layout changes. Now before speaking with them I looked purely at supply cost and some labor. 1. New tub, surround, and mold resistant drywall : $2500 2. Tile for 40sqft: $300 3. Paint: less than $50 Then I contemplated labor, and based from a remodeling expense website. 1. Remove old tub, drywall, and tile: $800 2. Move existing items (toilet and sink): $600 3. Install new tub and surround: $1600 4. Install new tile: $600 5. Paint and molding: $600 6: Reinstall sink and toilet: $600 So my total: $7650. lets round that to $10,000 for >30% profit Their quote? $30,000 Oh, what did they want for a kitchen remodel for a 8x10 kitchen (again no relayout)? $50,000!!! They obviously did not want my business - which seems crazy.

McClurg are hands down the best construction/remodeling company I have had the pleasure of dealing with. From the initial consultation to the finished product, their team was amazingly professional throughout. The Project Consultant Jamie made it exceptionally easy for us to design our bathroom remodel, he traveled down to our house so we wouldn't have to keep traveling to the office or to showrooms, and he met us at several suppliers to help us choose our fixtures and talk us through the whole process. He explained the budget at every step, and kept us pretty in line with our original budget. Our carpenter, Pete, was exceptional (But really though, I want to keep him!). He was thoroughly professional at all times, and catered to all our needs. He really knows his stuff, was highly organized, and a pleasure to have in our home for the 6 weeks of the project. The finished product is amazing, and I am really pleased. Can't say enough good things about McClurg.

McClurg did an incredible job helping us install a sump pump in our basement. They came to our home exactly when they said that they would and took no time at all to complete the job. We were extremely satisfied with the work done and would highly recommend them to anyone in need of any type of home remodeling regardless of how big or small the task may be. I have worked with many good contractors over the years but McClurg has raised the bar! If you're getting quotes for a project, they will most likely be one of the most expensive. They are a design/ build firm. What sets them apart are their professional skilled craftsmen with years of remodeling experience, and their quality subcontractors and suppliers. McClurg has done a complete kitchen remodel in our home, refurbished a laundry room and numerous small jobs for us over the years like installing molding and fixing glides on drawers that we could not find replacement parts for. They use top quality materials and supply their carpenters with all the tools needed to do the job right.They always clean the work-site and prioritize safety, both on the job and for those in residence while work is being done. Most importantly, they are professional, trustworthy and we are pleased with the work. My kitchen is fabulous!

We have used McClurg for two projects. In both cases our project consultant, Vince, did an outstanding job of taking our thoughts and leading us through the process of making them a reality. The lead carpenters for both projects were professional and very personable. When issues with the remodel occurred (which they always do), the McClurg team presented the issues in a clear and concise fashion with available options. The end products of the work were excellent with craftsmanship evident throughout. We highly recommend McClurg and have recommended them to friends and family.

As with previous work done by McClurg in our house, the project was on schedule, the work was done professionally and the results exceeded or expectation. Mark Waite was instrumental in reviewing our needs, planning the project and explaining the construction process. No job has been too big or small for McClurg, whether it be a complete kitchen remodel or changing out a basement window. I would highly recommend them!
