ATM incorrectly charging credit union members a fee. Management was aware of this and we were told that it was only temporary until the "bugs were worked out". But, they said, just bring in the ATM receipt and we'll just credit it back to your account. Ok, no big deal. Two weeks later stopped by to make a deposit, and handed them the ATM receipt for the withdrawal I had just made. They looked at me like I had two heads. They had no idea what I was talking about. After a quick call to management (Danville, I believe) I was told they were not doing that, and, I was instructed on the proper way to use an ATM. ("It asks you if you want to accept the charge, just say no") Of course at that point, it's about principal and standing up to unethical business practices. I withdrew my money and closed my account. They ultimately lost a customer over $1.50. BTW, the tellers are very nice and very helpful, but of course, they have to play by managements rules. Edit: The previous month, they had refunded the fee on 2 occasions. My wife and I were assured this was only temporary until the ATM was fixed, and they would continue to refund until that time. No big deal. Three weeks later they have no idea what I'm talking about.

My wife and I are delighted with the service of this full featured credit union-bank. It offers ATM, debit cards, credit cards, online banking with an online register program, automatic bill pay, a credit line which you can borrow on in seconds (I just did), extremely friendly local officers. We love it and are very happy we switched to local banking. Recently (12-2018) I was successfully scammed out of several thousand dollars by a couple of con men working out of Tampa, Florida. I had the account number of a company whose account I wired the money to. I called the bank, Regions Bank, which has a "report fraud" link on the front page. (Clicking it takes you to the main menu.) I could not contact the bank or the company whose name the account was in. When I told the MCFCU manager, Alba Arenas, about it, she had someone call immediately, they found out that the money had been transferred minutes after it arrive. I had given up all hope. That was Monday. Thursday morning I received a call from Alba, who told me, "You've got your money back!" She and Victor Tsui and Jessica Mordan had worked since Tuesday and somehow had recovered every cent of the money I had lost. I DIDN'T EVEN HAVE TO ASK!

Never had a single problem and they are helpful

They are a great Bank, I would recommend them to anyone...They are very helpful and kind, because I had a situation way back. And they were there to help me solved it..And I would never trust another bank with my banking....

Very disappointed. Customer service was awful 6/11/21. I don't plan on using Lewisburg branch anymore.
