Had four rings sized and repaired. They did a beautiful job. I haven't been able to wear my engagement ring and insert for years. They made it into one piece and it's stunning. They are friendly, professional and knowledgeable. I also sold some gold and they seem fair with that as well. Give them a try, don't hesitate.

I was greeted warmly by the entire staff. They were very helpful and answered all of my questions. I bought a chain from them and I thought the pricing was reasonable. The selection was nice and if there is something they don’t have they will make/ order it. Overall, my experience was great!

I have been going to this store since the previous owners. All was always well until this afternoon. I go to the store to pickup a necklace that I originally bought from the store that was broken. Unfortunately I ran into a rude young man who perhaps was having a bad day. I pick up the item and say that it looks like a silver necklace but I gave you gold. He started to minimize its value. I say this is your product. I bought it here. then he says you are not in my system which is a lie. I pay , say thank you and will never go back .

Got my chain shortened here. Took maybe 10 to 15 minutes at a great price. Staff here was very informative and customer service was beyond helpful. Would definitely recommend coming here.

Brought my necklace in for repair after being turned down by several jewlers. The chain and crucifix belonged to my father who passed away 11 years ago. They were very kind and professional and took on the repair and did a stellar job at it. I'm very happy to have my prized necklace back and will definitely be going back here for anything I need!

We brought our wedding ring into Matthew James on Wednesday to fix the setting and it was done in one day!! They did an amazing job! It’s looks better than brand new. My experience at this location has been absolutely amazing. They really give you the best for your buck and the staff there makes you feel like they really want to give you the best deal. Jack is amazing !! They took their time showing me all the merchandise that they have in the store and I was very impressed. I definitely will be coming back for more.

I purchased a gold chain at Matthew James to go along with a cross I had previously purchased for a godchild’s christening gift. The salesperson Jonathan was extremely helpful and professional and made some great suggestions such as purchasing a longer chain with extender which I appreciated - they made the adjustment to the necklace while I waited a few minutes. Jonathan also gave me a very good price on the chain and a team cleaned the cross I had purchased elsewhere!!! Great service!!!

I went in to purchase a pair of earrings for my daughter, and to sell some jewelry that I had. They were very nice, professional, and patient. They showed me different options in the type of earrings that I was looking for. The transactions were smooth, and I was in and out in no time. It was great doing business with them. I was looking for a good jewelry store in a neighborhood setting rather than the big malls. Matthew James was perfect. They were extremely courteous as they helped me determine if my pieces were worth repairing or trading in. Their inventory was current and stylish ( not tired and boring). I would definitely recommend them for purchasing and repairing jewelry as well as trading in those old gold baubles you never wear.

Highly recommend this jeweler. Always nice and helpful. High quality jewelry at a reasonable prices. The store is spotless and sanitary. Went there for a cross for a baptism. I originally bought the cross online and spent a lot of money for a piece of garbage. I returned the cross and went to Matthew James. I won’t make that mistake again.

Had the BEST experience! They repaired my Valentine's Day necklace and got a chain for my grandniece! They are AWESOME! This is the only place to bring your cherished pieces to be repaired. They will take care of it! Staff is very friendly and have wonderful taste in contemporary jazz music! Ann Marie was even sweet enough to clean my rings while I waited. A most pleasant experience!

Absolutely loved coming here and will be back again. I had four pieces of jewelry that needed to be shortened and was surprised at how quick and efficient the business runs . I just purchased a beautiful, 14 karat, solid gold, 4MM Figaro chain. I got a great deal. But the best part was the excellent customer service rendered by Josh. I generally buy my jewelery online, but due to the pandemic, I was longing for that in-person interaction that I've been missing. I am more than satisfied with my purchase.

UPDATE: August 16, 2021 I recently brought in a few pieces of jewelry to get repaired which they did a great job on, as well as being done the very next day. So that was great. I also gave them my engagement to replace a small diamond that was missing. The work was done the next morning, very reasonably priced and the ring looked brand new, which is exactly what Josh said it would be. That ring was brought into the store about 2 years ago when I wanted to replace the center stone with a larger one that I had purchased. Jack originally told me that he may not be able to do what I needed which was to change the whole prong setting in the center to accommodate the new larger stone. He then came up with an idea and the ring was done in a minimal amount of time and I was extremely pleased. It looks amazing!!! I get so many compliments on my ring it makes me very happy that I made the decision to go to Matthew James Jewelers. Also the prices on the jewelry that they sell are quite reasonable and they have beautiful inventory. Believe me if you go to them for your jewelry needs, you will not be disappointed. I will always use them as my jeweler. Always bring my jewels into them for repair, great experience every time. My engagement ring is from there: it's beautiful, amazing quality diamonds and one of a kind. Staff are always so helpful and never pushy. Love this store!!
