* UPDATE * Following my initial review; I was contacted by the manager. He seemed genuinely concerned and acted as if he would have absolutely had the same stance that I had. He agreed that there were several different markets that I could have chosen to shop but was happy that we landed there. He did deflect the blame to the delivery team a few times and that was off-putting because the blame lied within his store - his salesmen and floor manager. At the end of the conversation, he mentioned that he would love for me to not give up on them and try their store just one more time. He said that he was regretful for my interactions and wanted to entice me to stay, so he was going to send me a $100 gift card for my troubles in hopes that I would return to give them my business. I told him that I would consider it. However, once I received the gift card in the mail, I was even more furious! It was a generic gift card that is likely given to what I can only assume, are people who spend a certain dollar amount. It did not address me personally - it was addressed to “Valued Customer” and did not make mention of any of the issues I had. Instead, it said that they hope that I am enjoying the quality and comfort of my new mattress. I did not even purchase a mattress! It was a bedroom set - minus a mattress as we already had one! I mean come on! He didn’t even try. Just a random generic gift card for $100. Seriously??!! If I didn’t question their integrity as a company before this, I most definitely do now. Wow…I’m floored. Thanks for giving me the same thing you’d give to someone else who spent the right dollar amount. I even considered it insulting that I had spent more than $4K there on my previous purchase and didn’t even receive a generic gift card. What??….$4K isn’t enough to send a thanks and hope to see you again gift card? I don’t even know what to say about Mathis Brothers.

We had an unexpectedly great trip to Mathis Brothers Outlet. Duncan greeted us at the door and let us know he was there to help, but let us do our own looking around. Usually we have been followed around and felt pressured to look at certain items. Being able to walk the store and make our choices was perfect. Once we found what we wanted, Duncan was there to help us with ordering everything and getting it all together. The best part is that had everything in stock!! Our salesman was great. He wasn’t too pushy, but was very friendly and helpful. I liked the store in general as well it appeared clean, and also had a good atmosphere. When we are ready, monetarily, we will definitely come back to this store to purchase a sofa. I’m very pleased with my experience here.

I’d rate this company zero stars if I could. I usually get my furniture from Bob Mills however they did not have the color that I was looked for so I decided to give this place my business. WORSE DECISION I EVER MADE. For starters, the delivery drivers could not find my apartment so I had to basically walk to the end of my apartment complex to direct them… secondly I was hounded by the delivery drivers repeatedly to complete a survey as it would “help them” in a span of the thirty minute delivery I was probably asked to do the survey five times. I was also informed by the delivery drivers that I had to pick up a price of my furniture at the customer service because they had forgot it. ….? WOW! Next, one of the drawers on my dresser seems defective and does not open properly and I am having to wait to the following week for someone to come exchange it….. and don’t get me started on the horrible customer service when you call the store… There’s not enough space for me to type how I really feel about that customer service when you call the store. This place is a joke! Take your money and business elsewhere if you can… that is unless you want horrible delivery and horrible customer service.

Chico, was awesome. Listened to what I wanted and delivered with a beautiful sectional!! The entire staff I came in contact with was EXTREMELY friendly.. no one was pushy or “let me take your money”. It was a breath of fresh air to just be able to walk in, be greeted and helped but not pressured! I will definitely be back for more furniture!

Jorh was so helpful! He gave me time to shop & debate what I wanted. We must’ve ran through the different pricing options I could have with the membership a bunch of times because I was indecisive. Ended up getting the membership for a better deal and I appreciated his patience. The selection was great and overall paid less than I expected for a new bedroom set.

I'm really glad that young lady helped me yesterday. I was going she didn't get on my nerves like the sales rep did at Bob Mills. She was very friendly. I was hot and made. This little lady turned my day to a smile. I only came to get a bed frame. She talked me into getting the set plus the mattress and when I come back I really hope to see her I'm sure my house will look a lot better the way she helped me prepare it thank you for having her work for you guys good job on you guys this part as well

The salespeople are always courteous and friendly. The ability to do the acima credit makes it affordable for people who don’t have cash on hand to pay in full (like me on a previous purchase!) Even the new salesman that helped us this time was fairly knowledgeable. Quality of the products for price is also great!

Walked in and was greeted by Trace. He asked what we were looking for and gave us a lay of the land. Then he let us roam around to have a look. We found a really nice sectional. Trace found us and started the process to buy the couch. Gotta say this the best location I've been in. Can't wait to get more stuff from them. These people were the most professional sales people. They were extremely courteous, and polite. Especially the Sales Manager Laura. My sells rep Jorh Bignolais was incredible. They were good at helping me but the loan company and all the rest turned me down for financing. The kiosks to enter data is not user friendly. It took a long time to do it right for the computer. Was anxiety producing. In the long run I was turned down by ever finance option. I was disappointed. I am handicapped and I could really use a bed that raises my head so I can breath better.

One of baddest customer Service I ever had. The lady who take care of me, Maira, is sweet and helpful. The system put wrong phone number of me, don’t deliver my stuff until I CALL THEM, then told me they can’t deliver on the day I picked since the truck is full even though I picked the date on my purchase day, which is a week from that date. Csc rejected my phone call twice, transfer me without answering my questions and not friendly and helpful at all. First time with Mathis, and will be last time too.

Process on picking up items in warehouse was horrible. A simple 5x8 Rug sitting out on display and I couldn’t take with me and had to go back and pick up next day bc delivery center closed. Next day items to be delivered and stated they couldn’t get through gate which the office was open to let them in. Would t come back for 2 days to deliver after paying $99 delivery fee. Hassle is not worth it…

We don't sell the rugs on display unless they are clearanced or "as-is" then you are welcome to take them with you to the cashier. Unfortunately I am not able to locate your account to see if you left instructions for the drivers. If you live in a gated community, we would need the gate code or specific instructions. Again, I apologize for the frustration!

My recliner broke 3 days after I bought it. The store had the chair for over 6 weeks and still didn’t have the part to repair it. Finally after calling 3 times we agreed to give me credit towards the purchase of a new chair. It took a little longer to do the paperwork but I now have a recliner in my home. I wish we could have done this sooner than later

Always had a great experience with Ashley's and Mathis brothers. However, my recent experience with an online customer service person named Ms Bianey has changed all that. The real issue is a broken dining table and a request for replacement was placed on 07/13/21. That email was never acted on, after several attempts to talk on phone we were connected to Ms Bianey who was unapologetic, judgmental and condescending. When requested for her supervisor or any one other than her to talk to, she was dismissive to say she is the only one available and that I can hang up now. Am sure Mathis Brothers can very well not employ such uncourteous personal in their business. MS BIANEY IS SHOCKINGLY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL - not a fit for a business establishment like Mathis Brothers.

For the past 10 months I've been building a house, shortly after I purchased a new vehicle, through those to major life experiences you would think buying furniture would be a hassle and something no one would want to get done , not one bit, Devin in the sales department met everyone of my needs, weather that was questions, pricing, availability, Devin was ON POINT!!! highly recommend him and his team. The salesman I had was real good knowledgeable on it that I found the mattress that I bought and I wanted to buy a bed frame but that wasn't his area so they told me one fries and I was going to buy it and then next thing I know its a hundred a d fifty more so I passed I'm going to go look at this place on Rockwell in the morning

My husband and I shopped at Mathis Outlet for the first time. We have been looking for living room furniture for weeks. Finally found it!! We loved the shopping experience. My experience today was very interesting. I was looking at a rocking recliner...the salesman took me over to where they were. I decided on a chair with a tag that said " your price". I told the salesman to ring it up. When I got to the cashier the price was $70 more than what was on the tag. I told the cashier that the price was wrong. She said the extra $70 was to enroll into their "reward" program. I explained I didn’t want to enroll in this " benefit " because it wasn't a "benefit " for me. I told her I wasn't going to pay for something I am not going to use. She said that I couldn't get the price on the tag unless I enrolled. I call BS! I decided on a different chair and paid the price on the tag. Then after I paid , I went to pick my item up and waited 45 minutes. Needless to say it was the best circus I've been to in a while! Ali made the buying experience very smooth and enjoyable. He was patient with us and our wandering around the whole store. The only thing that was slightly frustrating was that our first two choices in dining sets were not in stock even though the signs on the tables indicated they were in stock. For a recliner, sofa, and 6 piece dining set, we were pleasantly surprised and the great price we paid. We would definitely shop here again.

Our furniture buying experience was made successful by our very attentive no pressure sales professional, Kevin Gomez. He really made it easy by letting us set the pace and feel like we were in control of our purchasing decisions. We were his priority for the entire time we were in the store. He gave great advice but only when we asked for it. So many sales folks walk fast, try to tell you what you want, take phone calls, try to help more than one customer at a time, and leave your head spinning by the time your finished. Great job Kevin! Honestly, if I could give no stars, I would. We ordered our furniture in February following the advisory the furniture would be present by July. We are now in September without furniture. I attempted to call to make contact throughout the month of August with extremely rude responses throughout customer service. Half of our furniture was delivered. Extremely late, damaged, and the incorrect dresser we bought. The movers were young children that were not careful with the product and dropped the furniture. It’s impossible to have a Manager contact you in regards to your concerns. I called 4 times, and I was hung up on each time. Customer Service refused to get me to a Manager. If we could, we would send everything back and request a refund. We will not be buying furniture here ever again!!!

The customer service here is the absolute worst. The sales associates are lazy, unhelpful, basically rude or high on drugs. After purchasing our items 3 months ago, we were able to finally obtain two pieces of furniture, we were informed the rest of our furniture is on back order for another 3 more months! We had to drive 2 hours to the store because no one answers the phone, no one calls with an order update and they just sell furniture and lie about the arrival date. The only helpful people here were the warehouse staff who went above and beyond to ensure the items we finally were able to obtain were loaded properly. Thank you Antonio and Maurice, you both deserve a raise!!

We are very happy with our selection, their pricing options, and ease of shopping. Our salesman, Al,i was very friendly and listened to our needs. He didn't try to show us anything out of our price range or that wasn't going to meet our needs. I did have to work a little harder than I should have to get my basic warranty information in writing. However, I was able to get it. Our delivery was flawless, the guys were really quick and very friendly. Definitely will return for future purchases.

My overall experience was a no pressure browsing and no one in each section of store while I was browsing seemed interested in if I was buying, browsing, or if I needed help? And when I was definately in a hurry cause after looking at everything I had asked 4 different people what I needed to do to purchase one of the rugs for sale? After they located me with someone he was having difficulty setting me up to make the sale possible on his laptop. So a simple easy rug purchase seemed to take 25 minutes too long.

Excellent selection. Dozens of beds, mattresses, and other furniture. Cameron, in beds, and Elender, in living rooms, are amazing. Ask for them if you are in the market. This was by far our best furniture experience.

I’m leaving no stars because we went in for a reclining chair for my mother in law and not 1 person out of 6 people we walked by even looked up from their phones to help us we were going to buy a $1200 chair and was just asking if they could take the price down any since we did all the shopping, finding and even going to cashier without a single person and he said “we don’t discount anything” which is a lie because we have bought our $4,000 bedroom set from here and our $2,000 couch from here and they did discount a little bit off both purchases. I know these places are all about commission but clearly nobody was wanting to make a little extra money today.

The salesperson Ashton W was great 5 stars. He had to wait for a manger to approve the order which took 40 minutes for the manager to arrive. If Ashton was not so good we would have left and took our business elsewhere.

I almost never go out of my way to write a bad review but I’ve never had such a terrible experience buying a freaking chair side table. I purchased a coffee table and 2 chair side tables from Lauren and the sale went fine. However, upon delivery of my items they forgot to bring a chair side table and instead of getting it to me and resolving this problem promptly, the delivery guys marked my order as delivered. It’s now been 3 weeks since they were supposed to bring me my chair side table and I’ve been told different things each time I’ve called to ask where it is and when it’s coming. I was told it’s out of stock, that it wasn’t out of stock, that it maybe was damaged, and I was told endless times that customer service would follow up with me but not ONCE have they ever done so. Then I was told I would finally get my end table today and I thought my nightmare was over. Nope! I called again and once again they said they would “follow up with me” because they didn’t know when it was coming. So I once again had to call and now supposedly it’s coming next week. I’ve never experienced something like this and it’s extremely unprofessional. I paid for this item and they’ve done little to nothing to resolve this issue for me or give me a straightforward answer.

Great service, friendly staff! Only disappointment I have is our salesman made a mistake in our order. After payment and looking over the receipt in the car I noticed one of the items we ordered was not the correct size. Went back inside to have him change it and he then request we pay the difference in price. It was his fault, I feel we should not have not had to pay.

Did not have a great experience at all. We were told we would get our couch a week from purchase, turns out we wouldn’t get it for a month. No one told us or called us to update us. I had to call to get any kind of update. We also bought a rug from them, which is good, but we went in to pick it up and one of the associates told us “we hope it’s still here, we sold a lot of rugs today.” Will not be returning and will not recommend to anyone to shop here.

Great selection of furniture. The sofa, sectionals and recliners we looked at were decently priced. Our salesman EP was super helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. We were greeted as soon as we walked in, which is always nice. EP helped us find just the right recliner that was in our budget.

I went shopping for furniture today and went to several places. I had gone to factory direct previously a month before. So we went back today to your store and there sat the furniture I wanted. The kind young man named Ralph helped us purchase our furniture. We paid for it and we are so excited to receive it. Way over priced furniture for the quality. My table didn’t come properly made so we could build it correctly. Spent over 500$ for a table that is worth maybe 150$. I will never shop at any Mathis brothers again. The chair legs come loose all the time as well, it’s honestly ridiculous.

A good selection, decent prices. Definitely got rushed into a membership, but working the math it was cheaper to use the membership for shipping it to the house than other options. The salesman actually sounded irritated when I started reading the terms and conditions? That felt weird. We get our furniture Friday, so I’ll have to update on quality then.

BIG SHOUT OUT TO MY GIRL HALEY! She was so sweet and took the time (over 2 hours) to walk the store with me and find the perfect recliner and end tables for my new apartment 😁 other furniture places I've been to have been pushy and not as helpful, but she was so kind and helped me find things in my price range. She also was excellent with explaining the rewards program and it definitely helped me save more than I thought. Definitely recommend going to see her!

Because Mathis Brothers sells cheap, low-quality furniture, my four-year-old table is peeling. My warranty claim was denied on the insistence that I didn't take care of it. It has always had placemats on it and has only been cleaned with wood cleaner. That is NOT normal wear and tear. I've included photos of what you'll get with Mathis Brothers. In the last five years, my husband and I have spent over $10,000 at this store. We recently spent $5,000 at Bob Mills to REPLACE our two-year-old sectional sofa and we will never spend another dime here. The sofa we bought in October of 2019 had completely worn out by 2021. There were holes in the upholstery and the frame was giving out. The cushions were totally flat and the fabric was beginning to pill, all with normal use in a home with no kids, where pets weren't allowed on the furniture. We paid $2,500 and it was a complete waste. We bought a sleeper sofa in February of 2021 and the pillows for it literally showed up in November. When we were trying to sell our couch, we realized for the first time that it CAME BROKEN. Now our table and chairs are literally falling apart. Chunks of wood are coming off. Our mattress was supposed to have a lifetime warranty and now causes horrible back pain because of the sinking. We're average-sized people. I see no point pursuing the warranty when I was blamed for the completely unnatural wear and tear on my lovingly cared for table. We are done with this store and anything connected to the Mathis Brothers brand. Never shop here. It's a complete scam. Your furniture will look great for two years and then fall apart. We went straight to Bob Mills to replace our five-year-old mattress and couldn't be happier.

This was the best furniture shopping experience I have had in a long time. Grant, the salesman, was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. He was very patient and not pushy at all. He took the time to ask me questions and was able to pinpoint the exact fit for me- even though I was not able to verbalize exactly what I was looking to buy. Sam and Hunter were very efficient at loading and communicated very well during the process.

Trace was an amazing salesman at the Mathis Outlet. He had so much knowledge related to every piece of outdoor furniture I looked at and was beyond patient. During the process there were multiple changes by me and he remained patient and helpful. Pretty impressive for an 18 yr old and he is who sealed the deal 100%! UPDATE: 9/13/21 The company is such trash they are still ignoring me and my review yet have the ability to comment back to every single other review. Please save your money don’t waste it on this company Update 9/9/21 : I posted this 2 days ago and they are responding to everyone else and ignoring my review. How unprofessional. ZERO STARS! I went in and spent over $4,000 on 9/4/21 I was helped by Branden. Not only was I lied to but this is the item I received. I was told that to have The warranty on both mattresses I purchased to be valid absolutely no stains were to ever be on the mattress. So I spent $300 on covers for them only to get home and find this! I’m beyond livid. This was a clearance item that I was never told all sales final, never told it was damaged, never even got to unwrap it and look at it. I asked if anything was wrong with it and was told it was in perfect condition! This mattress alone was $999 before tax. And so far beyond “perfect condition “ My husband and I called to see if they would take it back and I was rudely hung up on, and also told by a manager basically SOL and that it’s not their responsibility to advise of damage or no returns allowed. I have been a loyal customer for a few years now and this has made me never want to shop here again. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

I ordered a bedroom suite that they said was not in stock until March 25-30 I came back 4 days later and decided to pay for the bedroom suite and wait several weeks for it to come in . But the salesman said they had plenty in stock I could take home the same day, which was great. We went to the distribution center to pick up everything was in. We got home and realized they gave us the wrong dresser had to turn around and take back and get the correct dresser. While waiting on the correct dresser another customer was cursing out the people waiting on him which I got very afraid they told him his ticket was totally wrong and he woul have to go back to main store and repurchase the correct furniture. This hold experience was HORRIBLE.

I ordered a sectional, chair, and ottoman on 11/05/21. The sectional and chair were delivered with no problems. They have tried to deliver the wrong ottoman twice and I had to take two separate half days off from work. Today they are supposed to deliver the correct ottoman only to find out they are already running behind and if I want it delivered today, I’ll need to take a full day off from work. So I cancelled the delivery and asked for a refund. It has cost me more in loss of pay than the actual cost of the ottoman.

Was a 3 star I lowered to a one star....CSR Erica (Supervisor) has a poor attitude in my opinion and was even worse when I mentioned the furniture they delivered was damaged. Purchased on 3/24/22 and paid in full. Delevered furniture 3/26/22,also paid to be a rewards member to up the value as a shopper. When I unwrapped the sofa to inspect,I qwikly noticed a scar/scratch etc and said this is not correct or what I thought was a damaged sofa. Contacted store and low and behold met Erica on the phone. Was told 1 week from 3/26 that they could swap it out or refund at that time,but that they do have multiple replacements in stock but told me to wait a week. She was rude,not considerate of my time and I feel that was enough to just get a refund. But the kicker is I don't get a refund until then pick up furniture on a Saturday 4/3 when I'm not planning to be in the area. Called Monday 3/28 yet the same rude Erica answered the phone. I asked multiple times to speak with someone other then her. Very disappointed and hope others read this and shop other places or write an honest review about ther experience with Erica if it was as negative as mine Update 4/25/2022 Delevery driver in truck #45 showed up to pick up returned order. Showed alot of gratitude,and was so very polite. Went out of his way as the delivery driver to call the store himself, and get the leather furniture swapped out, will update again soon

Context: Repeat customers who intended to buy living room and bedroom furniture plus rugs for multiple rooms. Me, my partner, and his elderly grandmother (in a wheelchair, mind you) planned on stopping at Mathis Brother's but decided to pop into Bob Mills first. We headed over to Mathis Brother's as planned but stopped at the Outlet first since we've had good experiences there. We were greeted by someone who I'm sure was lovely but told us that we weren't allowed to browse the store and that they would get in trouble if they didn't stay with us. Has this place turned into a used car dealership since I was there last? I'm glad this person was upfront about it when we said we wanted to browse but we left within two minutes of entering and didn't go to the Sleep Center or the other Mathis stores as planned because we didn't want to be pressured or babysat. My partner's grandmother felt like we were treated as if were going to hide a couch in her purse or something. Either way, missed opportunity for a sale and wasted time for us after driving across town.

Do not come here and do not buy any mattresses on clearance. Salesperson lied to me saying I am able to do in an exchange for a mattress I bought that was on clearance. I spend one night night sleeping in it and hated it, only to be told the next day that no exchanges can be made on clearance items. Wasted 2 grand all thanks to deceitful salesperson.

First off…. I have bought numerous items from this outlet over the years and have generally been very pleased with their service. So based on that they really get 5 stars but today’s experience was frustrating. I received an email from Mathis outlet letting me know I have rewards awaiting to be used. You see I just moved into a new home and spent several thousand dollars furnishing my new home, so I had quit a few points accumulated. So I went in today to buy a new rug. After being greeted by I swear every sells rep (super pushy) I finally decided on a rug. I told the young man that helped me that I had reward points and showed him the email. He brought my account up and took me to the check out area. While waiting while the look up my account the sells rep. walked away but it appeared he was coming right back. The clerk behind the desk said your account is expired and you can’t use the reward points unless you pay $99. I said okay I wasn’t informed of that when I signed up or when I talked the sells rep., can you tell me when my account expired? The clerk said yesterday. So I said I just got the email yesterday and it didn’t say I had a limited time to use the points. The clerk behind the desk yelled back at what I assume is his boss if I could go ahead and still use my points and she said nope. I told them just to scrap the whole transaction and sorry to the nice sells rep. but I was good. Now with all that said I find this to be poor customer service. Their somewhat abrupt and non concerning interaction with me was poor. Now for the moment they might just think oh well we lost a customer but I’ve been shopping at Mathis Brothers since I was a child with parents and now as an adult. Their unwillingness to work with me or even offer a simple apology might have just lost them a customer for life who likes their inventory and almost never leaves their store without buying something. I’m not really upset or mad just disappointed. I feel like I was pushed out the door and told we don’t really care about loyalty or simple customer service. There’s so many options out there I will definitely try every other furniture possibility before returning to any Mathis Bro’s store.

Was a great experience up until the salesman disrespected my wife and I saying he wasn't showing us certain beds because he didn't think we were being serious enough. About a $3000 purchase were looking at making, we said nope after that.

Took over 30 min just to pay for the order, another 24 waiting to pick it up, just to find out they gave us the wrong rug at the dist. Center. After waiting 45 min for an exchange finally got the right one. Do yourself a favor and shop somewhere else, it’s way faster.

Our whole experience with the Mathis Brothers outlet was great. Our sales associate, Dalton Weaver, was super helpful and patient with us without being pushy. The prices were great and the selection was huge! We found exactly what we wanted and couldn’t believe the quality for the price. Both guys that loaded us (Michael and Blaine) were very polite and did their job well - they got the sofa loaded and strapped well without us having to do anything. We will be back!!

They kept giving me false information, the manager goes on rants how masks don’t work if he sees you with one. They delivered me broken furniture. I regret every buying from this place. Also the manager Steve harassed me over a review I had left about another Mathis store. He demanded I take it down.

The salesperson reminded me of a car salesman. He was very aggressive and tried to steer me toward the most expensive furniture. Several times he mentioned the $200 five-year furniture protection plan and I NEVER told him I wanted it. After I paid for the furniture that charge was on the ticket. I felt like he was being deceptive and I had to have it removed by the cashier. The delivery was scheduled and I was told that they will text and/or email the 2-hour time window for delivery. The day before delivery was scheduled I didn't receive any notification of the delivery window. I won't go into extensive details, but, I called and I was told by customer service that my furniture hadn't been paid for. I had no living room furniture because I had just moved to Norman and I was tired of sitting in an uncomfortable camping chair. I asked to speak to a manager and his excuse for the mess up was that it was a computer glitch. After about four phone calls and spending over an hour on the phone trying to get the mess straightened out I was told that if I wanted the"white glove" delivery (they charge for that) that I would have to wait another 5 days to get my furniture. I finally settled for doorstop delivery. The drivers don't bring the furniture in or assemble it; therefore, getting the furniture into your residence and assembly is left up to the customer. That was very difficult for me because I had no one to do that for me and. That's the first time I shopped at Mathis Brothers and it will be my last! BUYER BEWARE!

Don't walk run away from this place. Everything we have purchased from them (a household full of furniture) has fallen apart in just two years We also purchased protection plans. The first time we tried to use it was a year ago and I continuously got the run around until I gave up after 5 months. Then out of the middle of no where in August I receive an email asking me for pictures of the damaged item. This is 10 months after I filled the claim. Today I called because the electric on our electric recliner stopped working. I bought the protection just for this reason. Now I am once again getting the run around and am being told the protection plan doesn't cover the electric portion of the chair.......so frustrating when that is the only reason I purchased the plan. I will never buy anything there again. They lie so they can take your money. The quality is awful and customer service is non existent.

Our salesperson was Ceara and super awesome from the moment we walked in to the moment we made our purchase and left. We went to look at a specific sofa we saw online with no plans to make any purchase that day. We didn’t like it much, but my actual dream Duda was there. As in I had the same exact sofa on my wish list already. It wasn’t yet available which worked perfect so I got on the wait list. We decided to price check mattresses, and on our way out after stumbled upon yet another sofa that my husband really liked. So I ended up purchasing that one and absolutely hate it. I’m heartbroken and will probably end up purchasing the sofa I originally wanted and then have to figure where to put our extra furniture. Nice experience, I just hate my actual purchase. It was off the floor as is so I honestly don’t think there’s an exchange possibility.

We were greeted immediately and we had a salesman follow us around honestly at first i wasn’t fond of him following us but he trailed a little ways back and was there to let us know availability and answered any question we had. It ended up being a great experience as he wasn’t pushy at all and was very nice and helpful. I didn’t feel pressured at all and was able to pick out just what i wanted. Benjamin was very rude. We picked out a table and chairs for a good price, but he managed to make the price WAY more then it should have been and when we tried to discuss it with him and ask for a detailed breakdown of the prices, he shut us down basically telling us he was right and we should just accept what he is telling us. Horrible customer service and I would rather go elsewhere and talk like adults when spending hundreds of dollars.

TL/DR: 100% recommend checking it out. Great selection, great service, and ask for Benjamin Baradic. We went in looking for a couch and expecting a small selection of furniture as an outlet store. Immediately, we were welcomed and offered drinks/snacks as we browsed the impressive selection of items. Our sales associate Benjamin Baradic was phenomenal and accommodating. He even moved furniture from one end of the store to another so we could get a visualization of the pieces. We ended up buying a well-priced electronic sectional, a dining room set, and a coffee table. He was able to get us sticker price and discounted delivery. We got the extended warranty because at its end date, if you haven’t used the service, you get in-store credit.

I had an amazing experience today shopping for new living room furniture. I had been to 4 stores before Mathis Outlet and no one really asked if I needed help(I guess I understand with Covid, but I expected a little something) Then I met Bob Cox upon entering. He was a great laid back and easygoing salesman. He was warm, engaging and attentive! I couldn’t have asked for a more hassle free and enjoyable experience. I bought a sofa and loveseat from here and I love the look and how comfortable they are. My only 2 complaints are the delivery part plus customer service and some of the furniture....a dining room table we looked at would not even be in stock until June. They need to put that on the furniture. I know some say in stock and others don't, but I was figuring maybe a week or two not 3 months. The delivery part was a mess long story short, they changed my delivery date and never once called me to tell me so I was just waiting around until I finally called up there. My sales rep blamed it on customer service and the sales Mgr put it on the sales rep. I finally got my furniture 5 days later.

Bryson was exceptional! Initially my family was looking for furniture but it didn’t work out at the moment for what they were looking for. He noticed that I was also browsing and was interested in some furniture for my daughter so he helped me with the remainder of my time here. Overall he made it a great shopping experience. I went to a few "cheap furniture stores" and it was all bad. Surprisingly my other half said you want to go down Portland and check out some of the furniture stores to me and we ended up at Mathis Brother's Outlet. I went in and seen our salesman (Bob Cox) heading towards me with a greeting. I let him know I'm really just looking and will let him know if i needed anything. He kept up with me as i wondered through the living room furniture and was there if i had any questions regarding what i would sit down on. I found some items i went outside to have my other half come in to see and Bob went above and beyond to accommodate us with questions we had. He actually gave us extremely helpful information that we didn't ask but information we as the customer needed to know(Covid-19 stuff with in stock items). We purchased a whole living room set and Bob saved us money by informing us of the Rewards program(Get it because it saves A LOT). Bob also sold us the insurance which I normally wouldn't have got by providing us with useful information in regards to the insurance. We will be revisiting the Mathis Brother's Outlet again real soon to complete our house needs. Customer service is what goes a long way.

One star rating is very high for the experience I have had with this store. I bought a piece of furniture in October it broke in February. They picked it up in March snd they still have it. The only communication is if I initiate it. They will not replace the furniture they will only repair. They got a part in in May and it was broke do they had to order again. Did not find this out until June when I sent another email. When we have called on several different occasions to question they have told us they would have a supervisor call and it never happens. Got the same run around today. Do not ever shop or buy from this company. They do not want to help the customer.
