First and foremost I want to acknowledge Jose! I went in frustrated after going to two other dealerships & not being satisfied . Upon arrival me and my mother exited our vehicles and we were preparing to just look around & then came an Angel, Jose ! He greeted us and asked if we needed help. After a brief conversation he insisted we come in and he thoroughly went through the process with me & made sure that I didn’t feel pressured into just making a purchase but I was comfortable with doing it. This past week I visited Martin dealerships with intentions of purchasing a new vehicle. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a friendly Sales Professional - Tracy Thompson. Right away I could tell Tracy is an expert in his line of work. He was very precise but also willing to listen to my wants and needs…I truly felt like he had my best interests in mind! He solidified those thoughts by helping me choose the right car and at a price that I was MORE than happy with. I drove off in a practically brand new certified pre-owned Honda! Instead of going with a brand new car, I was able to save THOUSANDS by listening to Tracy’s recommendations. I couldn’t be happier with the experience I had, all the way from start to finish! Even more so, he called me this morning to make sure I am completely satisfied with the vehicle and to answer any questions I have about functionality or if I needed anything. I brought my Honda Pilot in to get two keys cut and three other reprogrammed. I called the day before to make sure they had the new regular key and key fob in stock at the repair shop. The guy said they had both keys in stock. We went in this morning and it took three hours for them to tell us that did not have the new regular key in stock and we would have to come back again after they cut the new key fob and programmed all 4 keys. In addition, they told us that we needed new windshield wipers when they were replaced brand new 5 days ago. I have 5 Honda Pilots and unfortunately I have to go Honda Dealerships to get the keys cut and programmed and warranty repairs. I takes about 3 hours every time I go in there to get keys cut and reprogrammed. That is crazy for 20 minutes of work. Martin Honda is borderline incompetent and dishonest with their recommended repairs. I am done going there for anything. Definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different result. My wife was not informed that the second key was not available until after Martin Honda had already cut the first key and programmed all 4 keys. If she had known that Martin Honda did not have the second key to cut, she would come back another day. In fact Martin Honda kept telling her during the 3 hour wait that all it of it would taken care of and she would be happy. In addition, when I called the day before I asked Martin Honda if they had both keys at Martin Honda and they said yes. So they lied to me the day before and during the 3 hour wait that they had all of the keys.
Mr. Volk, According to our records you asked to have 1 key cut and programmed when you scheduled the appointment. When your wife came in the Honda service advisor confirmed and had 1 key cut and programmed. When the service advisor updated your wife on the key programming that is when we were told she wanted 2 keys cut and programmed and she was informed that we only had 1 key in stock. Our service advisor stated that he ordered the other key but you or our wife would have to reschedule to complete the order. We offered to waive the second programming fee as well. We apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused you and your wife..

I had the best experience coming to Martin Honda Used! I spent about a week car shopping at different dealerships after my transmission went on my Dodge Journey. I went to Martin and was completely greeted off the bat by Brett, he let my uncle and I browse numerous cars, asked and paid attention to what I was looking for, and helped me narrow down my options to the vehicle I chose. He was very respectful, professional, and just down to earth- he wasn’t pushy like most sales people are, he was laid back, gave his opinion but ultimately let me choose for myself. I would totally 10/10 times come back and have him as my dealership sales rep! Thank you!!!!

Not sure how Anthony was hired, he had only been there a few weeks and I don't see him lasting much longer. I was helping my parents find a new Pilot and good thing I was there because he is so sarcastic and childish, my parents wouldn't have been able to understand a single thing he was saying. He would say things like "Oh you want a Pilot, HAHA, we might still have some but there's just no cars right now" in a sarcastic tone, or "Okay this is the price of this, plus *sigh* MARKET." My parents are innocent folks that don't keep up with the news, they are following my lead and help and this type of interaction is unprofessional. I was done talking after 10 minutes, I didn't feel like I could talk because I was faced with so much negativity like this kid thinks he knows everything. And isn't this a sales shop?! I understand it's not a buyers market but clearly he is not helping ease that one bit.

People are quick to leave a review when they have a bad experience. It’s the holidays and it’s a pandemic so I’m making it a priority to leave good reviews when someone gives a positive customer service experience. The sales rep I worked with recently, Mavin, was so pleasant and knowledgable. She was so patient and attentive and she even called me to follow up. Shopping for a car can be intimidating but she made it very pleasant. I’m grateful…happy holidays!

Martin Honda was great to work with. I recently traded in my civic for a 2022 CRV. Best Place to Buy a Car!!!! We are repeat customers. Sales and service is top notch. My very favorite person to deal with has always been Larry Murray, he can get the job done no matter which hat he is wearing that day! I brought my brother in, who was having a little trouble getting a car due to a series of bad breaks. Martin Honda was able to put him in a brand new car! That was four years ago and he still loves his car and is grateful to sales team that put him in it. He plans to buy his next car from Martin as well.

If I could give my experience today at Martin Honda zero stars I would. have never been treated so poorly during a car buying experience as I was at Martin Honda in Newark DE today. My husband and I were not greeted when we entered the building. We had an appointment which was confirmed earlier in the day through text, email, and phone call. However no one seemed to be aware when we arrived. The salesperson who ended up being assigned to help us talked down to us, was vague with answering questions, and was very rude. The process of buying a car is already stressful and the salesman at Martin Honda made it a nightmare. We were attempting to get my current car appraised. The salesperson came back with a figure but could not answer any questions about how the number was determined. He kept answering it’s that number it was appraised for. I asked for my keys back as I wanted to end the interaction. As we drove away the salesman in the office were gathered together by the window laughing I am assuming as the poor service they had given. I felt disrespected and insulted.

We bought our Honda 2 years ago from Martin and had a very positive experience with the salesperson. We recently responded to a mailer about purchasing a newer vehicle and keeping the same payment, recognizing the payments would be extended for the term of a new loan. Unfortunately, Martin did not deliver and instead offered a considerably higher payment. When we questioned why they would send such a mailer if the can’t deliver on their promise, the response from the manager was a seemingly indifferent, “Sorry.” We will not buy another car from Martin.
Mr. Ransom, I will contact the Honda manager to verify the mailer wording. At all Martin Dealerships we strive each day to exceed our customer's expectations. Thank you.

The Service Department at Martin is very poorly run. I took a day off of work to show up at an 8AM appointment for scheduled RECALL work to be completed on my 2017 Accord (third Accord purchased from Martin). Mind you, this has been a literally 6+ month process of getting the headlight in stock and finally getting a time set up to have the parts swapped. Upon arrival I am told they were "backed up" from yesterdays work and won't be able to get to it until afternoon. No loaner car, no ride home,... just get back in your car and drive away with a wasted day off of work. We will never spend another dime at this Dealer and will also spread the word about their lack of basic customer service.

If you want great car service please don’t go to MARTIN HONDA! I would recommend you to UNION PARK HONDA. I recently took my car to Martin Honda (March 18, 2021) to get ALL NEW TIRES. I had an appointment for 2:45 my car wasn’t ready until the next day. It doesn’t take a whole day to put tires on and do a front end alignment. Well they loan me a car because my car wasn’t going to be ready that same day. I took the car back the next day (which it stayed parked that whole day until the next morning) about 12:50. They called me at 4 something saying I had damaged the car. Which was a LIE. It got damaged by them once it was in their hands. They emailed me trying to say I did it and how they tried to reach me while I was there but noticed I left. I hung around for a minute so that was a lie. So back to the tires the same day I got my tires put on my tire pressure light came on. Come on now new tires shouldn’t no lights come on. I emailed Rich and told him about my tire pressure light he didn’t reply. (That’s ok cause that little Survey that I have to do for him I’m going to fail his service every question). A couple days later Ivan (manager) emailed me. Never said anything about my tire pressure light or tires his only concern was the damage that did trying to say I did it. Y’all please don’t let them service your vehicle. Take it to Union Park Honda they do a great job. P. S Saturday when I went to Martin Honda another customer was there because they messed his sun roof up. It wouldn’t go up all the way. This is the second time they’ve messed up my car. Lesson is learned.

I brought my car in on July 3 2021 for a tire repair. They told me I had to pay 176 for one tire. I also have had the car for 6 mnths it is a lease and I purchased the tire warranty. I explained this to Kyle and he didn’t seem eager to help after i mentioned this. I left the shop and was thought he would have ordered me a tire per our conversation, and he was to call the warrenty place to help pay for the tire I explained I needed tire fixed before vacation on july9 he said no problem. I reached out on July 8 2021 and Kyle still has not called the warrant place and when I called him he stated sorry I have so much to do . Ok well so do I, not to mention I need this tire his response was well I see 130 cars a day !!! Oh wait so I’m not important enough to help? So beware of this service dept unless you are a paying customer who will fork out the cash becauSe apparently since I didn’t and I have this tire warrenty I’m not worth remembering. Horrible service

Nov. 2018 - Almost 1 year to the day of my last purchase (see review from Nov. 2017 below), I purchased another car from Martin Honda. This time my salesperson was Jack Stewart. There are only 2 words to describe Jack - PROFESSIONAL and SUPERB. Jack worked with me very carefully to choose between 2 different choices (Honda Insight or Honda Civic Sport) and was very patient as I mulled over the decision over a couple of weeks. He never pressured me to make a decision (I chose the Civic) and when it came time to negotiate a price, it was unbelievably easy. I thought last year's negotiations were easy but this year was light years better. Jack is simply the best. If you are in the market for a new Honda, don't waste your time at other dealers - go to Martin and ask for Jack Stewart. You won't be sorry! ----------------------------------------------------------------- Nov. 2017 - We purchased a 2018 Honda Fit from Martin Honda at the end of November. Our salesman was Spencer O'Brien and he did an excellent job. Negotiating price for a new car is one of the most unpleasant experiences most people ever go through; Spencer and the management team at Martin Honda handled the process professionally. The buying experience was actually NOT unpleasant - LOL. Seriously it was very good - Spencer was GREAT. We got a pretty good deal which is always a positive. So far we love the car and expect that we will enjoy it for many years. If you are shopping for a Honda go to Martin and ask for Spencer.

I purchased a 2016 Subaru forester from Martin Honda. I flew in 2000 miles to pick up the car. Dave the manager there sent one of his drivers to Philadelphia airport his name was Jonathan and they picked me up and drove me back to the dealership. The car was in excellent shape and the financing was done very quickly. Tracy the sales person in charge of getting me my vehicle was very professional. I have never ever been to a dealership that was this low pressure and who truly cared about giving me an excellent product. The majority of sales people that work there have been there for years and they will all say that it's a very family atmosphere. I give them 5 stars out of 5 great job!!

My car salesman, Brett Smith, helped me find the perfect ride. I first went to a different car dealership and had my chosen car sold after I bought car insurance for it. Brett guaranteed that wouldn't happen here and was very helpful answering any questions I had about payments (and other first time car buying inquires). The car buying process was made very simple and done quickly. I've had my new car for a month and I'm grateful it all worked out in the end. Initially our experience at Martin Honda was not the best. I would like to commend Phil, the General Sales Manager, and Michael for the best sales, customer service I have experienced. We were greeted at the door. Michael took the time to meet us while Phil had done that well based on various phone calls. They were honest, and fair. They maintained a good sense of humor. Both Phil and Michael went out of their way to ensure we knew everything about the car and posisble maintenance options. Based on this experience I would defiantly do business with them again. They are fair, honest and reputable men. Martin deal is led by great leader in the General Manager. I can not thank them enough for helping me get the car of my dream.

I came in with the mindset of buying out my lease, or leasing a new car. I never even considered buying a used car until I came in and spoke with Aaron. Aaron was very helpful worked with me on weighing out all my options and what made the most sense for me. He never tried to sell me a car and was working with me every step of the way for whatever I chose. Mr. Martin is a wonderful individual that exceeds past any salesman expectations that I had or experienced. He’s a wonderful, joyful, and charismatic person. Tracy at Martin Honda is a kind and caring salesman. He took the time to listen to the things that were important to me to help me find the vehicle I wanted. Ironically they did not have this car on the lot. He found me one and the dealership was unable to acquire it on their lot. The package that was agreed upon was a fair deal, trade in and rate. I would recommend anyone who hates this process and is interested in any of their cars to look him up. He is knowledgable, and fair.

Bought a used car several years back. The car has so much issue always took it to the dealership for repair they once lost my car keys and couldn’t find it for hrs, the service center feels like someone’s garage, the car after having new battery in several time would not turn on and stop in the middle of nowhere, and the employees were so rude there, would prefer Toyota over Honda at least there service department is a bit better and no issues with a Toyota compared to a Honda.

This was one of the best car buying experiences I've ever had. We saw a 2011 Toyota Tacoma on the lot and contacted Dave about the vehicle. His communication throughout the purchase was extraordinary. On our drive down to look at the truck, he called and said that an employee might have already purchased it. No problem, we said, but appreciated that he'd taken the time to call. As it turns out, the employee decided not to buy the truck, and Dave called us immediately when he knew the truck was back on the market. We headed down to Newark and couldn't have asked for a better purchasing experience - the truck was just as advertised: very clean, low miles, and the price was excellent. Dave was positive about the vehicle, but we never felt pressured to make the purchase. This made it even easier to decide to pull the trigger! Second Honda purchased from Martin Honda. We had no intention of buying our Pilot today. We just wanted to look at available colors on this cold December Saturday but were so impressed by the Martin Honda team and available inventory that we left with our beautiful new SUV. Our salesman, David Eno, was an absolute pleasure to deal with. David has a professional yet friendly and easy going demeanor. He is very knowledgeable about the Honda line, the buying process, and he made us feel comfortable. David treated us with respect and patiently answered all of our questions and concerns. I had been taking my 2 Hondas to Martin for years and during 2020 they managed to lose me as a customer due to their poor communication, inadequate diagnostic capabilities and sheer inconvenience caused from having to take my Civic in several times within a span of a couple months for the same problem (which was never effectively solved). My other Honda is no longer in service as this dealership failed to let me know of a pervasive rust issue on the fuel and brake lines which made fixing the car economically unfeasible (it was a 1998 Accord and Martin assessed potential repairs at $3 grand or so- mind you they hadn't said a peep about these problems all the years I had been taking the vehicle in so this was a shock). I will never give Martin any of my business (service or sales ever again). Oh - I forgot to mention the service manager failed to call me back about promising to look into my concern with the 1998 Accord. POOR SERVICE
Mr. Aidala, You spoke to Ivan our service manager about this in July when you brought the vehicle in. Ivan stated to you that your vehicle brake line was rusting causing your vehicle to lose brake fluid. He explained to you that there was no preventative maintenance for this issue and you were told of the expense involved to replace the brake line and you declined that service due to the age of your vehicle.

I am writing to tell you about the fantastic service I received from Robert Smith at Martin Honda Collision Center in Newark DE. About 3 years ago I was rear-ended and I took my Honda Fit into Martin Honda to have repairs done to the back end, including the rear hatch door. A few months after the repairs were completed I had trouble opening the door -- the lock wouldn't work and I couldn't get into the car using that door. Robert had the service technician take another look, and they figured out the problem and fixed it. This happened again about 6-8 months later, and then two more times. Each time Robert got my car right into service, fixed the problem and had me out again within an hour. This happened again this summer, and I was unable to use my rear door for almost 3 months because I was unable to bring my car in during the hours Martin Honda is open. This time Robert got the door fixed, and also ordered a replacement latch. The part was received in 2 days, and it took less than an hour to replace. Robert has always treated me with courtesy, and given me prompt service. He has never charged me again to look at this problem, even though it's been several years. I appreciate his dedication to doing his job well and taking care of his customers! I've been so grateful that he is has been working at Honda all this time and knows me, and this ongoing problem. I hate to think what would have happened if I had to explain all this to someone new and how expensive it might have been to fix this problem if the service manager didn't know the history and wasn't willing to work with me. However, Robert might be the best thing about Martin Honda Collision. I tried calling the number that shows up on their website to get his supervisors name so I could send this as an email and it's the wrong phone number. Then I did the online chat and the person I was chatting with gave me a name and email of Robert's boss -- but it was someone who owns a dealership in NJ and has never heard of Robert. She also promised that someone would be in touch with me directly -- and never heard from anyone. Anyway if you have a reason to use this place make sure you deal only with Robert Smith!

This dealership is purely in it to get as much money out of the customer as possible. I took my car there for "free" recall repair. When I went to leave they gave me a long list of things they felt needed to be repaired or replaced for the total sum of over $600. I took my car to my local mechanic where I get service on the car and the car only needed to have the transmission fluid flushed, not brake replacement and system flush, transmission flush, air filter replacement along with a oil change and tire rotation. Totally shocked but thought maybe that is the routine for the service department. Several months later I was thinking of purchasing a new vehicle and considered trying Martin Honda to give them a chance. I was told that they are charging a "market adjustment price" of $1,999 on top of MSRP on new vehicles. I understand that the market is hot and inventory is limited but this it totally a scam. This dealership is taking advantage of it's customers and this is another reason why you should be able to purchase a vehicle direct from the manufacturer. I will never do business with this predatory dealership again. They don't care about the long term relationships with their customers and referrals, only on the near term profit they will receive.
Hello DS As a Honda Dealer, we provide you with the recommended Honda Maintenance based on your vehicle model, age and mileage. This is not something a local mechanic has to do. The Recall was provided free of charge and you received an estimate of what is recommend for your vehicle. You do not and did not have this done and went to your local mechanic. Please note, If your vehicle is still covered by the Honda Warranty, you do need to have your vehicle maintained as required by your warranty manual that came with your car. Right now, there is a vehicle shortage causing New and Used Vehicle Pricing to be much higher than they were last year. Although you would be paying more for a new car just about everywhere, if you can even find the vehicle you want, you would be getting a much higher trade in value for your current vehicle. Pricing for everything, including automobiles, is based on market conditions. If you shop around you will find plenty of dealers charging much more than we do. We don’t expect this shortage to continue forever and pricing should return to normal in late 2022. Thank You.

Every single person, from the receptionist to manager to technician was friendly, fast, efficient, and altogether outstanding. Fixed my problem in minutes for about $8! 9/27/21: How about really hearing what your customers are telling you and placing more energy into figuring out what you can do better next time for your customers rather than making excuses and blaming your customers? 9/23/21: I went to MARTIN HONDA today and this was my experience: One of the representatives from MARTIN HONDA indicated to me on the phone that MARTIN HONDA did not take any appointments for an oil service and to “come-on-in, we will take care of you right away.” When I arrived, my service representative informed me that the waiting would be from 60 to 90 minutes. 90 minutes is not “right away.” After I waited for more than 90 minutes, I texted my service advisor for an update. No response. I had to request two additional hours of leave time from work. Time is important for everyone. Your customers have neither the time nor the desire to spend hours in your waiting room. Please provide your customers updates while they are waiting for their cars and consider accepting appointments for oil services during the weekday(s). My three previous cars were Honda and I hope to purchase Honda again in the future. If you want to keep your customers, do better; Please respect your customers’ time. .

I bring my friend to this dealership bought a brand new accord about a half year ago. Just happened this week, the cars sport wheel was stolen when parking in the street. We call the tow truck and tow the car to this dealership trying to get some new wheels and fix the broken window thief . The dealer refuse to take the car and told us that we need keep the car right on the street where the wheel got stolen in the first place and wait 1 or possible 2 weeks to wait ordered new wheels to arrive. Really? Martin? We are your customer. It make me feel shame that I bought my friend in. I know you have right to reject a car service for all you can think safety reason but really? The Firestone next door took our car and able to accept the car to park in their parking lot and waiting for the new wheels to arrive instead of waiting 2 weeks and got our windows broke in again....

The service center at martin Honda should be ashamed of themselves. I took my car here a few weeks ago, not knowing what was wrong. A few days later I get a call that my car has 9k in repairs needed, and that’s just the parts. They quickly tell me I should just get a new vehicle with them. Instead, I deny all service needed and go take my car home. I went for a second opinion somewhere else, my coils needed to be replaced and that’s it. They explained to me that when coils are bad it send a whole bunch of false codes. Luckily, I actually found an honest place that didn’t try to take advantage like Martin Honda. My car is completely fixed and good again, thankfully to this other place for saving me thousands.
Emily, We know that you took you vehicle to another facility and had the spark plugs changed which did not correct the check engine light issue. The codes stored in your PCM to be corrected was discussed with you and you declined the services. The coil change which you had done at another facility is a temporary fix. Went there to buy a new Honda Accord a sale rep gives me a papers with the price and then sits his chair as if he was a boss with his arms behind his head rocking the chair this man didn’t even let me even look at any cars or even test drive. I recommend checking out HONDA Union they are 100% polite and they let you test drive before you even start talking about the paper work and pricing. The cars they sold to be were at a reasonable price. Again it’s only 10miles difference from this place It won’t hurt you to go there because I can assure you there customer service is 100% better than Martin. Also if you are still planning on getting a car I do not recommend the Sales representative (Amir Ansari)

It was nearing time to turn in our 2016 Pilot that we leased and we wanted a 2019. The previous person we had dealt with was no longer with the dealership so I went on Dealer Rater to find a new sales rep. Let me say, this service works! There is a reason that Shari Godwin has 5 stars and 100+ reviews. She is the best! She had no issues with working with me over phone/email. She provided me an unbeatable price up front and was an advocate for me through the entire purchasing process, tweaking our deal to get exactly where I wanted to be. I have tried to purchase a vehicle from them and when that didn't work out, after I purchased the vehicle elsewhere, I decided to purchase and have installed a pair of crossbars from Martin to see if my experience with their service department would be better. Before making my appointment at the service department, I was quoted an installed price for the crossbars that increased by approximately $100 when I showed up for the actual appointment. The service guy stated in passing that the cost of installation was only $40 (which I already knew) which means that installation would take about 15 minutes yet I was told that I would have to wait about an hour and 20 minutes for them to be installed. Regarding the price, I showed the service guy the current price for the same Honda crossbars on my phone from 3 other Honda dealerships in the area (after a Google search) all reflecting $100 less for the part but he stuck with the new quote. So not only was my attempt to purchase a car unsatisfactory so was my experience with the service department. I can not recommend them for anything based upon my two experiences with them.

Our son had just graduated from college and needed a new car. Since we live hundreds of miles away we were not able to help guide him on his first ever new car shopping adventure. My husband offered to begin the arduous search for the best deal on the car my son wanted. Over the course of a week and a half, we received a MULTITUDE of 1/2 written, bogus quotes for cars the dealerships didn't even have...We were hounded by email and phone for weeks yet there wasn't a clear quote or guarantee made to price out or acquire the car we were looking for. The communications were over bearing, evasive, rude and just brutal...With exception to one...this quote was simple, comprehensive and included detailed pricing, yet it was not accompanied by any bullying phone calls or emails. So WE reached out to Eric...AMAZING unparalleled client care, he listened, was patient, understanding and again, AMAZING... he was always responsive, answered every one of our questions and researched the out of state questions neither of us knew the answers to....he provided everything we needed to guide our son in the best possible direction. Eric searched several states to find the exact car my son wanted and truly went outside the proverbial circle to do whatever he could to make this deal seamless. He connected us with Kim who walked us through the various financial items and extended warranty programs my son could consider ahead of time. Mike reached out to us to ensure we were all set and ready for our upcoming appointment. Once we got to the store, we were greeted by Mike who ensured we were comfortable and happy throughout the entire process. We sat with Vernon who gathered and organized all the paperwork and who later sat with our son to walk him through every point of the car. Kim was kind, informative and explained the various points of the loan documents to my son. My husband and I have purchased several vehicles over the course of our lives, and yet not one dealership has even come close to Martin Honda. This is not your typical car store filled with sales people looking to make their monthly quotas...this is a family....who wants you, the customer to be happy and comfortable with your purchase at every level. From the second we began contact with the staff at Martin, we were impressed. Walt was great to work with, made the car buying experience enjoyable and was genuinely concerned about making sure we got everything we needed as a family rather than just making the sale. Once we decided to buy our 2019 Accord, the staff made the rest of the process quick and easy. I bought my 2006 Civic at Price Honda in Dover and for awhile, took it for service there. But, I quickly tired of the 100 mile round trip. I then tried another Honda dealer closer to home, but had mixed results there. I then decided to give Martin a try for my most recent preventative maintenance service a week ago. I was *very* satisfied. The only down side was I had an 8:00 AM appointment on Monday, Jan. 21, and they were unable to get to my car all day. They needed to make this a 2-day affair. However, they provided me a late model loaner car, free-of-charge. The actual service performed on my car was top-notch and thorough. The service coordinators that I interacted with were very responsive and provided great information during the whole process. I HIGHLY recommend Martin if you are in northern Delaware and need service for your Honda vehicle.

An individual by the name of Mark in the sales Department was scheduled to assist to my Wife and I. I don't know if Mark was having a bad day or he wasn't interested in making the sale because the commission wasn't going to be high or maybe it was the color of my skin. Don't know!! But being a man of color, I've been down this road before. My Wife and I were informed by Mark, that Honda was NOT offering any deals or any specials for the 4th of July. My Wife and I were returning customers, attempting to return a lease and lease a new vehicle. Mark could care less, not taking the time to show us nothing close to what we were looking for, Mark was condescending at times and appeared to be juggling several customers at one time. I wanted to get a new car that fit me. A commuter car that was good on gas mileage, affordable for my budget, and could last me for a bit. I called up Martin Honda and got matched up with Spencer O'Brien and he was great! He asked me what I wanted and was looking for. Got me looking at what I wanted that fit my price range. We did a test drive of the car I desired the most. He helped describe the car for me, what features I'd get, but he focused on what I wanted. He was also very personal, just talking like to people getting to know each other. I felt very comfortable making a big purchase with him, it was painless and would make me want to go back to them. Last Friday my Wife and I came into Martin Honda and were instantly greeted outside by very outgoing salesman. After telling him we were just looking he assured us that was quite fine and he's happy to be our guide. Because of the Virus he couldn't go on test drives but made sure to teach us about each of the three vehicles we were interested in. I went to the dealer knowing what vehicle I wanted and I received a fair price for this purchase and a fair price for my vehicle that I was trading in. DO NOT USE MARTIN SERVICE, especially if you have an older model Honda. I picked up the car (that my 17 year old child drives) from a mandatory airbag replacement. After they had the car for 36 hours and no phone call for pickup, we went over to pick it up and the windows were down. When I rolled up one of the windows, it stared to go up and then dropped into the doorframe. We immediately went back since the window worked properly when we dropped the car off. The very arrogant assistant service manager Anthony Tracey, didn't even look at the issue. After telling us that, well, it Is a 12 year old car, the best he could offer is free labor, but we had to buy the part he assumed to be bad. They wouldn't cover a $144 part that broke while the car was in their care. I was warned not to use them, but it was a Honda recall and they are convenient, so I gave them a chance. Now I have doubts as to the quality of the airbag replacement. They have lost our business. I would think twice before trusting them with yours. I hear Honda in Wilmington is much more reliable!

I had very good experience with martin Honda. I purchased Honda Civic recently with a decent deal and customer service was awesome. Kris Collins was the agent I dealt with and he gave me a good deal and best financing options. He took care of all the documentations pretty quickly and helped me in getting insurance and best interest rates on financing the car. Overall I am very happy with their service.

My boyfriend and I are usually not looking forward to dealing with the car business and are very anxious about the process. We had a meeting schedule with Jim Blaszkow. Jim made the process as easy as possible for us. We didn't feel like we were trying to be scammed or taken advantage of. We 100% believe Martin Honda gave us the best deal possible. We originally went looking for a basic CR-V and Jim told us that for the same price we could get a CR-V EX. Hello, I give this place a 1 star for this main reason. I had my vehicle service the first time at Martin back in mid July, 2020. First thing was a schedule for a oil change and tire rotation, as I came in early for service and stated the reason I was there for and explained I would like them to check my alignment since the car was pulling to the left. The service advisor stated sorry we can’t since they schedule me for an express service which I was not informed when I schedule the appointment over the phone. (Which I was a little annoyed about at first) So I keep my service appointment which wasn’t a long wait, which was a good thing. As waiting for your car in the dealer can be annoying. After my vehicle was serviced, a week later I received an email from carfax inquiring about my service at this dealer. As I look over my carfax, I see that Martin dealership made a mistake with my mileage. My vehicle was serviced at 46k and they (Martin) keyed in 96k. This minor detail as we are human can happen. So I call the dealer and speak with a guy name mark. I explain the issue and he stated he would look into it and call me back. After nearly a week I followed up. Mark did not recall having this conversation with me and gives me an phone number that is not what I used and which is not my listed number. As I inform and correct Mark, he caught an attitude and said well whatever which prompted me to inform him I don’t need the attitude since you guys made the mistake and when I call to have your department fix the issue and failed to follow up. Now you recall and say that John was your service advisor and he would have to call you back since he is off. Keep in mind, this call happened on Wednesday 8/5/20 and I’m still waiting for a call made. Something so simple and the lack of detail in attention make me wonder was my original service even fully completed! Maybe I would get the attention of upper management at Martin dealership to have this issue corrected immediately and receive a call from upper management and maybe they would try to make this right for the lack of attention and poor handling on their staff part in this matter.
Mr. Cuevas, I will bring this to the attention of the Service Director. Since it is after hours, I will make sure you receive a phone call on Monday. Thank you. Mr Cuevas, I understand that our Honda service manager got in contact with you and has made arrangements for you to come in and have your vehicle concerns taken care of. I can say with the utmost confidence that the experience from start to finish I had with Jack Stewart was more than exceptional. Went to Martin Honda looking for a used car for my daughter and not a lot of money to spend. Bernell Mitchell came out to the lot and spent over an hour listening to me knowing that he probably wasn’t going to be able to help me with what he had available on the lot at that time. He didn’t rush me or try to push me into something I didn’t want. I gave him my contact information and he told me that he would call me if anything came up. He called me a few days later and said that he had a few cars that may be of interest. I went back an ended up getting a great car for my daughter. In addition to that; I traded in my current vehicle for a beautiful used Honda Accord and ended up saving $60/month on my car payment. I got two cars that day and saved on my monthly expenses. Bernell listened, new what I was looking to do and never once tried to push me into an uncomfortable situation. I bought the cars over two months ago and he still reaches out to me to see if I have any questions or issues. Great dude, great experience...I’d recommend him to everyone.

My husband and I just purchased a 2015 Civic and 2015 CR-V from Martin Honda. We worked with Ed McDowell, and he was great from the start. I originally called with some questions, and Ed was extremely patient and informative. The whole team at Martin Honda made the car buying process painless and really worked with us to keep us as close to our budget as possible.
