We had a loan through Personal Finance that got moved here when Personal Finance closed. Our truck was used as collateral and was totaled during the tornado. Now instead of letting us use the insurance money for a vehicle and continuing to pay off the loan that we have never missed a payment on since we got it in 2017, they took the money and now we can't get a vehicle. We will NEVER do business with them again they are taking advantage of victims of a natural disaster! They are horrible people!Stay away from them!So we just talked to Mariner and because State Farm is taking to long to pay them, they are taking more money out of what we have left!

I have been doing business with Mariner Finance for years now and have never had an unpleasant experience. They always work to find the best possible deal for me and are easy to work with on all aspects. They are simply the best!

When I first took out my loan I had no issues I paid it off and later found myself in need again. The second time started out just as smooth as the first, but then management changed. Now, every quarter I get an unauthorized hard inquiry on my credit report. Which lowers my credit score, keeps me from being able to refinance with another company for a lower rate, and negatively effects my life in a plethora of other ways. I am in the process of filing a complaint with the Attorney Generals Office. STAY AWAY!!! They have went from being a company I would have once highly recommended to one i cant wait to get away from. Its amazing what a difference one person makes in an organization.

It started with my husband having a loan with them. Then I came on as co-signer. He has faithfully paid his bills and earned their trust. They respect and honor that and make getting a loan easy. I feel confident in dealing with them financially.

If I could give it less than 1 star I would. I dropped off a payment there through their so called security drop on a Saturday when they were closed. Monday morning I get a call saying they never received the payment. They have no security cameras there which stuns me, and he said he would check with landlord and if they could prove i was there, then there wouldn't be a problem. They didn't check with other businesses, and in fact I had to call Dunkin Donuts just to check. They did have me on camera. Guess what? Mariner hedged and said they couldn't see me clearly dropping off an envelope, though they saw me going to the door...wth? why would i travel all that way and get out and go to the door if I didn't have a payment? Stupid a-holes. The manager is a d__k, his boss, Jordan, is a d__k. I finally spoke with the VP over TN. He was the only decent one, but I am still on the hook for a payment that got stolen by either an employee or cleaning staff or any of the other losers that have a key to the place. Once I am done paying off the loan, I will NEVER deal with this place again, and if you're smart, you won't either.
