The first time I did business with Mariner, it was a complete success. Sweet, simple and to the point. The last time was an absolute disaster. For starters, I was told to come in at 4:30 for an appoint one day and when I showed up, they did not even know why I was there, nor would the person who told me to come in fess up to setting up an appointment. I was told to upload documents prior to the visit, which I did. However, when I arrived for my appointment, they told me that my documents were never uploaded. No call, nothing. On top of that, the branch manager tried to argue with me over what I was told. Lucy was very unprofessional and the tone she conveyed was that I was to just “deal” with it. I do not appreciate the way I was treated and the way that this branch is run and I will NEVER do business with Mariner finance ever again.

Josh is a great guy, always making me feel welcome. Answers all my questions with no hesitation! He works a deal up for me, that i can afford every time. He is professional, yet down to earth. He really knows his stuff! Thanks again Josh!!!

Very easy process to get the loan, recieved the check when I signed the paperwork. Professional, very courteous. Interest rate was better than others I looked into.

When I call they take care of everything professionally, but make you feel like a friend.i will highly recommend my Frederick team

I have done business with Mariner Finance for quite a while. I have always had a positive experience. I have been treated with respect and everyone is very professional.

Not a great place to take a loan from, they have no care when you are facing financial hardship. They only care about making money and nothing else. When the while the country faces the pandemic as a whole with million out of work including myself, they only care about you borrowing money from other people to pay them. You have been warn, adding on they have very and extremely high interest rates, which is alarming, because now that I think about it I might to speak to a lawyer. And have them dig more into this company. If anyone face this same issue please contact me

Tamika made me feel happy on her professional work. That's why I give her A+ for a wonderful job and Mariner Finance and associates of (Frederick Branch).

They are a personal loan center. And the rates are reflective of such. But I have had lower interest loans with them financing items and have never had a problem with Mariner. They are upfront with their rates and if you pay them back, then no problems. If you don't, for whatever reason, like any bank, they will look to recoup the money owed plus interest and fees.

RUDE RUDE RUDE - the lady on the phone Kelly??? Spoke down to me asking me why I did this and why I did that, as she reviewed my credit - your job is to approve or decline me not go over my financial history and ask my why I bought an expensive vehicle only making x amount of money... then states are you sure you can even make your payment, when I have a remaining $2,500 in spending a month after taxes and bills. Please... don't want your $121.00 payment nor do I want you business. ANYONE needing assistant - use AVANT :) I'm giving you 1 star because the initial guy I was speaking with was decent.
