Lyon County State Bank Industrial Rd, Emporia

This is the worst bank emporia has. First of all, it takes about 10 calls before someone actually picks up the phone. Second, they keep putting random fees and charges in my account that I was never aware of. They started after their "transition" (transition to a crappy bank). Third, they are rude and continually put people on hold while they "look stuff up" and literally pick the phone back up 5 seconds later. That shows that they just don't want to be on the phone with you. It takes them days to get back to me about important problems. This bank has the worst customer service I've ever had ANYWHERE! I'm switch to a different bank, as many people have! This bank won't be around much longer if they don't do something different.

I'm able to walk-in and walk-out very quickly with their simple teller stations inside, very convenient way to bank face-to-face when you need to. Everyone is always welcoming and assist you with any questions you may have. Been very happy with LCSB as my local bank.

Environment is nice, customer service is excellent. The Girls and guys there is always friendly, smiling, helpful and professional. Never had any problems with their service, and i’ve been with them for about 2 years.

Staff unhelpful and weren't even bothered by their own lack of willingness to help customers.

the worst bank, service, and staff I have ever seen. No honesty. charge you for using your money??? they said if you used all of your money in your account, you'll charge $3 for lowing your balance under $100 this is the traditional account, hahaha for me as international student, I prefer another banks even outside Emporia
