If you are on the hunt for a great mortgage company that will work for you then Movement Mortgage is the company for you. Mrs. Lynn and Movement Mortgage was great and worked hard to get me the best rates. The one thing I say that needs work though is communication. I know that they have a lot of information that comes in but communication still needs to happen especially if your clients have some questions. Other than that, Movement Mortgage is a company I would recommend to others.

Lynn and Brooke were super accessible and responsive, even during the evenings and weekends, and offered us the best rates compared to multiple local and national lenders we requested quotes from.

Lynn is extremely knowledgeable and was able to configure our loan and the closing arrangements to exactly meet our needs. Her experience with the processes and local requirements were invaluable to us and saved us money by avoiding transfer tax and an appraisal fee on our refinance. She was also extremely motivated to help us close in a short timeframe. Finally, her judgement enabled us to lock in a very good rate during a period when the rates were highly volatile day to day. This is the third loan I’ve closed with Lynn in 3 years. Each time we have been very impressed with the service she provided and will absolutely be referring her to family and friends.

I highly recommend Lynn she was instrumental in getting my home purchase approved! Lynn was a pleasure to work with. While purchasing a home is during any time is stressful she helped me navigate the system with ease during the COVID-19 pandemic. As a type A personality I called constantly to check on the process and she never once complained and managed to keep me at ease.

Lynn was recommended by the real estate agent I bought with, Matthew Fitzgerald. She and her team made a careless mistake worth easily $500,000 that I am now stuck with. She failed to calculate my escrow contributions and collect from the seller so a few months after closing, my mortgage monthly payment increased $400, dropping to +$200 per month, which invested in any number of ways easily results in +$500,000 by the end of the mortgage. She blamed the law firm that pulled tax records, they made an error, and she assured me that there is protection for me in these circumstances and that it will be fixed. (It even happened to her niece or other relative so I shouldn't be concerned.) So I met with the law firm and they provided me written documentation that absolved them and demonstrated they provided the correct information to Lynn, but it was botched on Lynn's side. I acquired legal counsel from an unrelated firm and was told this is awful but it happens and there is no recourse. I am stuck with the increased mortgage. Lynn was consistently difficult to reach via email or phone after the issue was first raised, often requiring follow-up calls by me because updates were not kept up as indicated. This was well before COVID. She still has failed to provide any feedback in months. So over the life of the mortgage, I am now faced with terms that I did not agree to at closing but am stuck with, I will pay about $70,000 more, not to mention all of the opportunity cost lost over the next 30 years. A real bang-up job. How an experienced and expert mortgage broker cannot calculate escrow properly is really astounding. The lack of support or recourse is unethical, disrespectful, callous and very disappointing. A couple of minutes to save a $70,000 mistake was too much to ask.
