I've always had good service at Hudson Luther Chevrolet. This time was no different. I only had two tires put on, but was concerned about a slight shake in the steering wheel after hitting a large chunk of tire on the freeway. They checked for damage and front alignment. Turns out an alignment was necessary. My car handles very smoothly now. My service contact person was very easy to work with and courteous. Price wise, Hudson Luther Chevrolet is reasonable. I would highly recommend Hudson Luther Chevrolet for service on your GM vehicle.

Our salesman, Matt, was good about keeping us updated on the delivery date. When the car arrived, he was helpful telling us about and demonstrating special features on the car. He helped us connect with Google Maps and Sirius Radio. He took time to answer our questions and was never impatient or rushed. John, who helped with the financial details, explained everything that we needed to know in that area. Also, we enjoyed meeting him and had a good conversation. The Hudson Luther dealership has awesome communication and customer service skills. I had a small oil pan leak, which was hard to detect. Once I figured out where the leak was, the service department, took my call immediately, put my car in their schedule within 2 days, and it was fixed before the end of their work day. I was not inconvenienced at all because they gave me a loaner car to drive for the day. I am very impressed with the honesty and willingness of the Hudson Luther dealership to back their products and make their customers happy.

Excellent customer service! Very professional. We loved our entire experience. We wish we could have taken it the same day we signed but other than that Nick did an amazing job answering all of our questions and being very patient and professional. Nick, from finance, was also great. One thing stood out a ton and it meant a lot and it’s the following. We got there to pick up our truck and it was 1/2 hour before closing and just seeing how Nick wasn’t in a rush to leave and focused on all our questions and showed us all the awesome features the new truck had meant a million. Very accommodating when I brought my truck in for emergency repairs, had truck fixed and back to me same day. Two things that I believe they could improve on is, maybe a phone call with details of the problem, instead you receive a text saying that said vehicle is ready for pickup and no explanation what the problem was and the other thing is the time it takes to get a vehicle delivered to the front after coming in to pick up is not timely, shouldn't have to wait for 10 minutes for vehicle to show up.

Matthew is amazing! I knew what car I wanted walking in there and he made it super fast and easy. It had hail damage from a storm they endured and he got it completely fixed up, new windshield and all for me!! Looks brand new!! I will always recommend Matt to people looking for a vehicle!!

Luther Hudson has always taken good care of me. Everywhere else, I feel like I am getting ripped off. This last time, we were in a bind, and they were able to work us in AND got the work done in no time! (Apparently the issue wasn’t as bad as we feared, but still, they let us come in about 5 days before our actual appt). You guys are the best!

Bought our truck from Matt. Great experience with him, Rock on. Very friendly staff, unfortunately the 2nd or 3rd oil change I received they either didn’t put oil in it or overfilled it, as I was leaving lot tons of smoke started coming from the exhaust. Called they said to bring it back. Fixed it, but no real explanation was given to why or what was done to cause the extreme amount of smoke who knows what kind of damage to engine. Second, after dropping the truck off for 50,000 mile service ($500+) was told that it would be done in 4-6 hours…only to get my vehicle back 36 hours later explication given was that they’re not experienced with 10 speed transmission system... Unsatisfactory experience with parts & service will be taking business elsewhere.

2 stars because this dealership is 5 stars. Chevy stinks and they'll never get a penny out of me again. Their sales and support for OnStar is in India and their retention department is in America. That alone is scummy enough to put me off as a customer. The fact I can't completely disable this onstar junk without issues has me eager to get out of this equinox and into literally anything that's not a Chevy. The car itself is just ok. The interior is trash and the paint is flaking off. I've always sworn by Hondas and I took a chance because the equinox seemed nice but it uses 3x as much fuel as my Honda at idle and the Honda has a bigger motor. The transmission makes weird noise under load in first and second. The exhaust leaks. The engine braking downshifts are really irritating. luckily for some reason mine doesn't autostop so there's that to be thankful for I guess. *edit* I feel bad giving 2 stars to the dealer for Chevy delivering a terrible customer experience so I'm changing it to 4.

Love the truck, but nothing special about the customer service. They handed the vehicle off to me with a quarter tank of gas. It’s details like that that don’t make you feel like being a repeat customer.

I have purchased way too many vehicles over my lifetime, this purchase was one of the best. I received immediate replies to my internet inquiries, there were followed up by quick emails and soon I was talking directly to William Sames. The vehicle I was interested in was still at the railyard but I was able to make a tentative purchase. The dealership was able to pick up my truck (William was a part of this on his day off!) and a few more the next day. I was there the next morning waiting for William and we quickly completed the paperwork. In this climate of supply shortages, I was very happy to get the exact vehicle needed at a reasonable price. While I was waiting to have my vehicle serviced, it was rewarding to sit in a very clean waiting room and have free coffee, water and popcorn. It was also nice to have some reading material to look. Every one of the employees that came by would say hi, or good morning. I was especially happy when I got ready to leave, I was surprised to find that my vehicle had been washed. service was done in a timely manner but little disappointed that a dealership doesn’t have a heavy enough lift to pick up my pickup truck to rotate the tires. Also had the windshield replaced and they still had the tape on it when I was told it was ready. There were also half of dozen prints from the suction cups that they couldn’t even wash off when completed. Pretty minor things but it should always be about the customer.

I had a friend of mine who is a GM mechanic run my VIN number Seems like there are two outstanding repairs that are free to install and Luther never fixed them Now, I have to take time out of my busy schedule to schedule a time to have these two FREE fixes done that should of been done before the car was put on the lot for sale.

I must say I've worked at Larry Reids Buick GMC, purchased my Sierra from Walser Buick GMC, I work at an independent shop in Hudson and I wanted to get some warranty work completed since it's so much closer and convenient...not to mention not hearing back from Walser. I scheduled my appointment with Luther, drop off was painless I was in a rush so they had a driver come to my work to sign paperwork...WOW... Next after hearing all of my issues have been diagnosed and repaired in a few hours they delivered my vehicle to work without even asking.. after a stressful Friday at my own job wondering how I would pick up my vehicle.... it was amazing to see my truck drive up cleaned and working like brand new again! Superb service! On Sunday my engine warning light came on and I needed to leave town on Monday. So I went to Auto Zone on Sunday night to read the code. It showed a misfire on cylinder 4. On Monday I went to Luther Chev at 7:00 AM with no appointment. Marti read the code again and confirmed the problem with cylinder 4. The tech found a bad plug. I had them replace all the plugs and I was on the road by 8:30 AM. Now that's service!! No appointment and my problem was fixed in an hour and a half. Marti, the Service Representative and Steve, the Service Manager, are simply the best!! Both deserve a raise immediately. I recommend this dealership to my aquaintences frequently.

I contacted Luther through their website and within minutes I had an email in my inbox. I explained to William that I was looking for a very specific Suburban. The service desk people were great and had my car checked in quickly . J.J. answered any questions I had and had me off to the waiting area. It seemed to take longer than normal to have the work done which was a oil change and rotate the wheels. It could be that the shop had new help or just extra busy that day. All was good though the car was washed and I was an my way. I really appreciate car wash!

Dropped off our vehicle on a Thursday (1/27) and the forecast was that the shop would be able to attend to it by the following Wednesday (2/2). That day came and went without a phone call. We called for an update, and the new timeline was by the end of the week. Friday (2/4) came without any updates and we had to call again in the late afternoon. We were then told our vehicle was 2nd or 3rd in line. The following Monday (2/7) came and went without a call from service. Finally got a call late on the following Tuesday (2/8) with diagnosis. The repairs were made on Wednesday (2/9) nearly two weeks after the drop off date. We had to rent a vehicle to cover our transportation needs, and costs were adding up. Better, more proactive communication from service reps is something that definitely should have occurred to keep us up to date. The final invoice for repairs did not disclose how many hours of labor were required, but only listed the total labor cost. This is unacceptable. More transparency and detail are needed on the final statements. It’s the least the shop could do for customers, especially when a vehicle sits waiting for repairs for so long.

The team @ Luther Hudson is great! I've never had a bad experience there. I came in Monday morning in a bit of a panic as we were leaving for spring break and I was pretty sure that I had a wheel bearing issue. I knew it was a long shot to try and see if 1) they could squeeze me in and 2) if the parts were available. Jeremiah and Marty jumped right on it... confirmed it was a bearing and had the part on hand....I was out of there in an hour and on the road to the Dells. I am extremely thankful for their service, kindness and overall experience they continue to provide every time I am in there. Had repairs completed on my vehicle at Luther Hudson. The vehicle was purchased through them less then 2 years ago and ended up have major mechanical issues. I was told issue wasn't covered through any warranty. Another shop said that it was a rare problem that shouldn't have happen to my vehicle due to the age and mileage of it. Shop was backed up, so they weren't able to look at my vehicle for about a week. I received a loaner car to use during the duration of my repair. Little to my knowledge I was being charged to use the loaner vehicle. My repairs were quoted at 2,600 ended up paying 2,800. There was an additional charge of $160 dollars for the loaner vehicle. Never taken my car to a shop and been charged to use a loaner vehicle. Not only was I charge but never told in advance that it would cost money. Since I've received my vehicle back, I've had a dead battery, and doesn't seem to be running a smoothly as it did prior. I feel like I was duked and sold a lemon and shop didn't do anything to try and rectify situation when the arose.
Jason, I sincerely apologize you are having problems but this is on you!! You purchased the vehicle in April of 2020, we saw the vehicle once since you purchased it in August of 2020 for your free oil change and then again in Feb. 21, 2022 when the rear main seal failed. To state on-line you were duked or sold a "Lemon" when the vehicle ran perfect since your purchase is unethical. We have no control over how the vehicle was maintained or even if they used the proper oil. If you hadn't cancelled your extended service plan this repair would have been covered . Your repair was $2,650 plus tax as you were originally quoted and the rental vehicle at $160 is very reasonable and doesn't even cover our cost for use of the vehicle. We shop our competitive dealers many of whom no longer offer rental vehicles anymore because of the costs. So to state that you have never been charged for the use of a vehicle is not true in today's automotive environment. There is a reason GM and every manufacturer recommends you do maintenance at the dealer because our technicians are trained on the product, know the products pros and cons. Service was friendly and quick, even at 7:15am. I asked for a multipoint inspection and he had already requested it for me which was nice. Fluids were filled, tires were filled, and I got a car wash (I know its included) but its nice in winter with all the salt. Nick Jubie needs to quit trying to up-sell and focus on good customer service. I had a slow leak in a tire and it was identified that is was a puncture on the side wall. Nick told me it could not be repaired and I needed 4 new tires. Seriously? 4 new tires when one tire has a puncture? Nick also told me it was illegal to get the tire patched. And also told me that I couldn't get 2 new tires, I had to get 4. But the kicker was that he couldn't get his hands on the same tires I have on my vehicle, so I should shop around and see if I can find them somewhere else. If you don't want my business I'll move on. I have bought two new vehicles from Luther Hudson Chevrolet GMC and will NEVER buy there again or get my vehicle serviced there again. Maybe it's time Nick moves on to a different job. Good luck.
Paula, I apologize you are unhappy with your recent visit! However, it is NOT SAFE or legal to patch a puncture in the side wall of a tire. Patching a side wall could lead to a catastrophic failure at highway speeds. I am glad Nick followed the correct process and informed you of the hazards. All wheel drive vehicles have a low rubber tolerance between the differences in tire wear on all four tires which is 2/32's typically. If you buy one tire instead of two or four you may end up buying a new transmission which is much more expensive. I had trouble with the front suspension on my 65,000 miles Cadillac ESV. Front drivers side MagnaShok failed, however the warranty I had covered the replacement of the one shock, as the passenger side was not leaking and still working. Four new Michelin tires and an alignment got it running as originally smooth as we had it. Service desk was very helpful, however I did have to remind my service guy about an item when he called me to pick up the vehicle. When I originally dropped it off I wanted to get their Paint & Dent person to look over the exterior finish and if necessary, patch, buff or touch up to keep the outside looking good. He’d forgotten about it and I said to go ahead and check it out. I had pointed to a few things on the rear bumper that were scuffed up that I needed fixed. So he took care of the rear bumper beautifully but I noticed a few areas that were not looked at or forgotten. It’s a small thing but just a detail that service departments should be aware of. Follow through people are hard to find and very important!

service was done in a timely manner but little disappointed that a dealership doesn’t have a heavy enough lift to pick up my pickup truck to rotate the tires. Also had the windshield replaced and they still had the tape on it when I was told it was ready. There were also half of dozen prints from the suction cups that they couldn’t even wash off when completed. Pretty minor things but it should always be about the customer.

While I was waiting to have my vehicle serviced, it was rewarding to sit in a very clean waiting room and have free coffee, water and popcorn. It was also nice to have some reading material to look. Every one of the employees that came by would say hi, or good morning. I was especially happy when I got ready to leave, I was surprised to find that my vehicle had been washed. I was not sure if I wanted to stop by at Hudson Luther to look for a car. But anyways I did stop in and was greeted by this amazing sales person Jackie. She made sure I was comfortable and offered me water right away. Then she sat down asked how me about my needs and wants in a car and showed me the perfect vehicle I could buy.
