My wife and I had a wonderful experience with purchasing our home through Lund Mortgage. After initially working with 2 other Mortgage companies and our chances of getting the loan being up in the air, I was put in contact with Frank M. from Lund Mortgage. Frank really took care of us and made us feel great about getting the mortgage done. He worked with us every step of the way and we felt comfortable the entire process. We really want to thank Frank, Matt G, Matt O, Lisa, and everyone we worked with from Lund for all their help in securing our loan. We could not have asked for a better to company to purchase our first home with. We highly recommend them to everyone and will use them for any future needs!

This is an amazing team. The entire refinance process took three weeks, from the day I called to the day the funding took place. I have never experienced that level of service. Set an appointment with Matt Oliver for 10AM. I managed to find a half-hour in my schedule where I could do the intro call with Matt to see if Lund Mortgage can fulfill my refinance needs. At 10:07 I still had not received a call from Matt nor had I received any message that he was running late. I call his posted office phone number and got the receptionist who took another 3 minutes to determine who I was, check the schedule and contact Matt. She told me that Matt would be with me in about another 4-5 minutes - that his other call ran long. I informed the receptionist that I had a hard-stop at 10:30 for another business call. She put me back on hold - it is now 10:15 and still no Matt and still on hold. I do not want to be rushed and want to have the full half-hour so that all of my questions can be answered. I terminated the call. From this interaction, I can perceive that this company does not appreciate or respect my time. I guess they have enough business to turn-off other prospective clients. On to other mortgage brokers.

My experience with Lund mortgage was when I had the great pleasure of meeting Stan Lund when he came to my home that I purchased 13 years ago. Stan was great, the customer service he provided was unmatched then and is still unmatched today. The whole Lund team is awesome but Matt Oliver is the man. Matt always finds the time to answer any questions you might have. And his knowledge of the market is unbelievable. Matt explains everything in full detail, he works hard to get you the best rate. Lund Mortgage Team was recommended to me by a friend and I’m so glad I took their advice for my home buying! I originally went with a big bank, but I had a lot of trouble getting in touch with the lending agent and I knew that wouldn’t work in this housing frenzy. Matt @ Lund took my first call and spent a lot of time answering my questions and telling me how this all works. He was always there. Anytime I called or emailed he’d get back to me within minutes at the worst. When I needed pre approval letters on a Sunday night he had them emailed to me within the hour. When it came time for closing the team was amazing! They called me every step of the way and worked incredibly fast to get it done. Nobody was going to be waiting on the Lund team. Their closing rates were really great too. I can’t recommend them enough. I’ll 100% use them again in the future and when I’m looking to refinance they’ll be my first and only call.

My Bad -- All lenders are not the same. As a favor to a friend, we went with another mortgage company for our recent home purchase instead of utilizing Lund as in the past. (I am complicated because I own my own business.) They kept stringing us along saying "we can get it done, we can get it done". Four days before close, still no progress. We went back to Lund Mortgage, apologized, and they were able to get our mortgage completed and closed, with our purchase only being delayed a week. Matt G and everyone was amazing in stepping up for us. Not only did we get a better rate, but they wrapped their appraisal promotion into the closing without us even expecting it. I’d like to start off and say the Lund team was pretty incredible, especially Matt! Matt and the team managed to get everything done from start to finish within 3 weeks, which is pretty tough! Looking back I realize now how tough of a client I was, as this was my first house I was buying. Already being terrified by buying my first house, I was constantly trying to make sure I wasn’t being scammed or hustled…which in turn made me question everything that was done throughout the whole process. Now that I look back it seems pretty straight forward and feel regret for what I put Matt and the team through. I definitely will be keeping in touch when I finally decide to search for a new home because I know this team will walk me through everything and get me a great deal!
