It was my First time going to a Coin and Jewlry shop ever and I had a wonderful experience. The staff at Lucy's coin shop are so nice and friendly. I highly recommend them to Everyone !

This place is absolutely great. I purchased an engagement ring from them and got an amazing deal. I was told a price on the phone drove over and Dave gave me a better number in person than over the phone. No hustling for a better price just straight business. Appraisal on the ring which was includes came out triple what I paid. They have something for everyone there. After the ring purchase both my grandmother and mother went down and both found something they liked, with a price they liked within minutes.

I have been a customer of Lucy's Coin and Jewelry Pawn for many years and I highly recommend them. The owner is a fair, reasonable man. He always gives good advice and explains his thought process out. I think this is a great place to pawn but also has some gems to purchase!

I was hesitant to call Lucy’s Coin & Jewelry because I know they are always busy. But I had to check on the status of 3 pledge contracts that I had on hand. And to my surprise, the agent, Sabrina?? Did not put me on hold and immediately addressed my concern. She was very efficient and accommodating that we were done in less than a minute. Fantastic service. It truly exceeded my expectations. Caring, compassionate, extremely friendly and very professional always. Lucy’s was there to help me during a difficult time some time ago and did so with such kindness and treated me very, very fairly. Everyone I’ve dealt with at Lucy’s over the last few years has been absolutely great, attentive and made me feel like they truly care about their customers and are always willing to help as much as they possibly could. They’re willing to help you with suggestions regarding the best way to deposit your items. Clear instructions on how the business process works. Really helpful are the reminders you receive when your loan payments are due. Will always take the time to assist you with any questions you may have. As always another wonderful experience at Lucy's coin and jewelry. Today Sabrina help me with my transaction. She was friendly and knowledge about the product I brought in. I was low on gas .. almost on E 😧😮😲😬 .. as soon as I walked in the door was greeted by Marta she was a pleasure to do business with. Very very nice lady. Long story short, walked in with $4 on me and left with $260. If you got gold in good condition this is the place to go to get cashed out when you need it. Just fyi 💪🏾‼️

Lucy’s has the best customer service. Every encounter I’ve had with Dave has been GREAT! If he’s busy, he makes the time to take care of his customers, he’s so AWESOME! Martha and the other staff are very friendly and customer oriented too. I always recommend my family and friends to go to Lucy’s.

Purchased a 24k Yellow gold ring from this establishment and Sabrina gave me a good deal for this ring. Could not be more happy of this purchase. Had a huge selection of items you could choose from and their jewelry was a good selection especially since they had 22-24k gold jewelry. Customer service and helpfulness was beyond compare. Sabrina is always friendly, efficient and thorough. She carefully researches your pawn items and gives you a fair deal. She knows her business, is no pushover and once you reach a deal you know it's fair. This pawn shop keeps your items pristine and safe which is a huge plus. I am new to the area and have needed to pawn several pieces of jewelry at Luckys. I h ave really appreciated how friendly and professional they are. They have also given me fair prices for my pawn. I have used many pawn shops in the past and sometimes they can really make you feel like you are a low life just because you are in a tough situation but not at this location. I highly recommend.

After researching several Pawn Shops in the area, I came across Lucy’s Coin and Jewelry Pawn and because of the great reviews i had read, i decided to give it a go and all I can say is WOW from the moment i walked in! By far the best customer service experience, both Dave and Lily were genuinely friendly, helpful and made me feel very comfortable as this was my first time I have ever sold any jewelry which that made me feel very confident that I was being given a very fair price! Extremely knowledgeable I have to say, as that is what people look for! I highly recommend Lucy’s!

I called to get a price on my gold eagles I wanted to sell and was quoted $99.00 back from spot then without asking was told that is an industry standard call around which I thought yes I will call around. Ultimately I went to El Cerrito Coin Exchange and was paid SPOT price so don't believe what someone tells you as fact especially when it comes to money and your investment. I would have lost 100's of dollars. Trust no one not even me don't get ripped off.

I've never had any experience buying and selling gold but I'm glad that my first was at Lucy's. Here for 11 gram 14k I was offered 390 and for the same piece down the street at cash for gold they offered me 220 and told me I need to be more realistic about my prices. Had i gone there first that would've been the standard i would've been held too which is a huge NONO thanks to Lucy's being a first time buyer / seller really put up a standard for me thank you. Ps. When I told the other place what Lucy's offered they were like "dang........" Lucy's is top knoch bang for your buck thank you

I recant my review of 5 stars and leave just 1 solely because the customer service is not how it use to be like 4-5 years ago or even 1 year ago. It starts from upper management I couldn’t even use my capital 1 spark credit card with offering to pay a terminal fee for the usual 3% difference. It seems like the store as if Lucy’s Coin has stepped efforts to keep our stuff and make it even more difficult for us. I have been coming here for years and love Dave but his management I can’t understand unless it’s to finally hoard our pawns!

Currently sitting outside of the establishment trying to give them a diamond certificate that he wanted to receive after I pawned a wedding ring. The “white girl” just sat there as I called and stared at me with a blank face and completely ignored my call in front of me. Also tried calling her or the establishment multiple times to no avail. The certificate means nothing to me because I already got my money I was just trying to do them a simple favor of having the Authenticity paperwork. First and last time doing business with them.

Had a few jewelry items I no longer had use for & Sabrina gave me an unexpectedly good price. She was also very helpful in giving tips on how I might sell a couple items they weren't able to take. I'll definitely visit them in the future if I have need. All of their staff sound very knowledgeable & informative.

Lucy's Coin and Pawn and Jewelry is hands down the best in the East Bay! The Manager David is super knowledgeable about all things jewelry, coins, and just awesome customer service . I have been using them for the past three years. They not only pay and loan more than other pawn shops in the area but are friendly as well. Do yourself a favor and stop in and see what they are all about! You will not regret it !

This is hands down one of the best pawn shops around! They have a well stocked inventory for you to shop, which include an awesome selection of tools and jewelry plus much more. Prices there are always fair and they give you about the highest price for your items that I've ever seen. Everyone there is super friendly and professional. Can't say enough about this place I love it!

I am Rob (Maria’s husband) commenting. I have visited Lucy’s about a dozen times in the last couple of years, and during my visits, the staff are always friendly, informative with the products, help me with whatever I may need and willing to work with my budget, where if all fails, I can place things on lay-a-way and pay down monthly for those larger amount purchases. Truth is, 95% of the time, I am typically a Buyer, but on a few occasions I have sold (traded) in some silver quarters, nickels, a broken necklace to even a gold filling, where Lucy’s staff are realistic and fair with their pricing of exchange. Plus, they have some cool guitars for sale, keyboards, mixers, guitar and stereo amps, decent sized TV’s, bicycles, excercising machines, collectible coins & currency, a wide range of jewelry & watches, to the more manly stuff: generators, occasionally inverter generators (what I am looking for), lawnmowers, and many battery-operated power tools for construction and home improvements to choose from. My FAV at Lucy’s is the Home Depot brand: RYOBI (the bright neon green tools) where I have purchased a few Hand Drills, Impact Drills, a Pole Pruner, Circular Saw, Oscillator Saw, to many 2-Amp Batteries (that still work after 2 years) and Chargers for this particular brand…… …..however, Lucy has many other top-graded construction brands (used and brand new) like DeWalt, Rigid, Milwaukee, Bosc to name a few w/ batteries, chargers and will let you test out the product, where in my experience, 100% time the tool works. While I visit the Cleaners next door (another 5-Star El Sobrante business), I always window shop and take a peek inside Lucy’s to just see what is new, and Lucy seems to change up her inventory often to keep the business fresh. As of Aug. 2021, I recently purchased a Ryobi Impact & Power Drill, Drill Bit Set w/ 2 Batteries, Charger and the original Carrying Case; which I am pleased with my purchase and I shall return. THANKS LUCY!!!

Let me start by saying that the staff at Lucy's coin in El Sobrante California are really awesome. Dave the store manager along with Martha, Sabrina, Lily, are very professional and genuinely care about their customers. Dave gave me a great deal on a Jesus Piece that I purchased they're at Lucy's . I recommend Lucy's coins to anyone who needs a Short Term Loan they'll take care of you.
