We closed on a house in Asheville in late 2021. We were first-time home buyers, so we were a little nervous about buying in such a tight market. However, Lucid Lending made the loan process incredibly easy. Ozzie and Nick were great to work with from pre-approval all the way until closing day. They were super responsive anytime we needed to get in touch with them and they always took time out of their schedule to answer any questions that we had during the loan process. The pre-approval portal that Lucid has on its website is one of the easiest to use out of all of the lenders that we looked into. As soon as we had an offer accepted, Ozzie began to care of all of the paperwork immediately and went out of his way to make sure that we had a great interest rate. As someone who is pretty detail-oriented, I had tons of questions about the different mortgage documents, and Ozzie and Nick were always more than happy to explain everything to me so that I felt comfortable going into closing day. The whole process was super smooth and very easy on our end.

The most amazing team. I can't say enough how wonderful and smooth everything went. We closed on time. They were there to answer any questions and help to reassure me when I didn't understand a process or term in the loan. I was an out of state buyer and the Lucid team were also working smoothly with my agent and the law office to make sure everything was lined up. My real estate agent was very impressed how organized and professional they were. I would highly recommend them. I was not just a number, but someone they cared about to get my loan done. The most helpful thing was that I was given a price range that I could shop for when I was looking at homes. This way there was no surprise and I stayed within that budget.

Ozzie did a cash-out refi for us on one of our properties in Whittier. It wasn’t the easiest project. We had issues getting an appraiser to the property and Ozzie fought to get someone there. This also kept pushing out or close date but he kept our rate locked and connected us with an insurance agent that got a us a better rate than our current one. We would use him again for sure.

Ozzie is Fantastic! Wouldn't think of working with anyone else. Over the years I've done several mortgages and refinances with him. Better rates than any bank and he makes the whole process easy.
