Just got a great Deal at Long Mac. on a 2022 F150 Crew. Also got top dollar for my 2020 F150 Crew trade in ($4k more than I paid for it 2 years earlier) The new 2022 F150 crewcabs have much better touchscreens, better 360° camera systems, better 3.5 V6 twin turbo engines, and they look sharper than ever. Mike "MJ" in sales was great to work with, def helped me close deal, took care of everything even got me a good discount on their after market upgrades like window tint & bedliner. I've been buying from Long Mac for years tho...since the days when they were located on Santa Fe street in Salina in the 90s. Definitely ask for Mike "MJ" if you're looking to buy at Long Mac, as he's a down to earth easy to work with no high pressure sales type guy.

We had looked at their website and found two cars we wanted to look at when we arrived. One had been sold prior to getting there. We test drove the one and another similar vehicle. Decided to go with the one we had already looked up. Was a good experience. The only reason not 5 stars is the length of time it took to process everything. I think we were there for 4 hours or so. When we left the car was nicely detailed, spotless!

I had the most amazing experience with Long McArthur! Not only was my salesman Marcus Williams aka "The Lincoln Gentleman" a perfect gentleman, he was professional, precise and made me feel like I was more than a customer. I was impressed that several of the the other salesman came over to talk to me as well just put of friendliness. I purchased a Lincoln and was there less than 2 hours on a Saturday morning! Will never buy from again. I am new to the area and needed to get a truck due to where I travel. I traded in my 2017 E300 with 39,000 miles. They refused to give me more than $29,000.00 for it. They now have it for sale for $46,000.00. I expect this level of crookedness back in Virginia where I moved from. Lost a customer for life.

Oh my goodness gracious! Steve Z at Long McArthur is who you must see when you need a new vehicle! Never met the guy because COVID and everything was done over the phone and they even drove our new vehicle to us and drove our trade-in away! How amazing is that service?? I accidentally left a package in my trade-in vehicle and when I panicked and realized I left it, I called them and they even got it back to me! And then they sent us the most amazing treats which was completely unnecessary because we really feel we got the great end of this deal! Loving our previously owned Expedition, it legit feels like I float down the road! We named our slightly used vehicle (we always name them) Long McArthur because it’s just so catchy! You should hear our 5-year-old say “we gonna take MicMartha to school this morning?” It’s adorable! We will be back when we need to trade-in in the distant future!

I bought from Long McArthur even though I live in WI, because of Derek Lee and Dan Penner. I shopped at 3 area dealers and none of them offered what Long McArthur was offering, which was a better trade, shipping my truck to me, taking my trade back, and most importantly, the best customer service I've ever had from a dealer. Using Long McArthur it took from May 20 to July 19 for Ford to build my new truck, when many other dealers were waiting 3-8 months for their orders. Long MAcArthur was a few hundred dollars more for my new F150, but I was willing to pay that for the way I was treated. I may never buy a new vehicle locally anymore! Long McArthur will always be my first choice when I buy a new vehicle. Thank you Derek, Dan, and the Long McArthur Ford family. You guys are the cream of the crop!

We are currently on the road crossing the country from Oregon to Florida, towing a trailer, I’m pregnant, we have a toddler, and we are on our way to drop off my husband at Tyndall AFB for his training. Our Ford’s starter went out at a rest stop near Salina and we needed to get towed in. DNR (who were amazing to work with) recommended we stop at Long to get the work done because they would take care of us. We were hopeful after our 10 hour driving day that they would help us as best as they could. We had to stay in the camper with no air, no food, and no water over night. When we woke up (well we didn’t exactly sleep) we went in and spoke with the service manager. We told him our situation and how my husband needed to report to the base by Monday so it was extremely important we got the work done as quick as we could so we could get back on the road. He was quick to tell us he had nothing available until Wednesday and we were SOL. We were very surprised as Ford customers for over 60 years to be told “every customer has a sob story I can’t push you to the front of the line”. He was even reluctant to refer us out to another shop that could help us. A bit later he finally gave us a referral to a shop in town called Oards. They were fantastic to work with. Got us in and out of their shop within 2 hours. We were happy that we were able to give Oards our business.

Once we learned of your situation, our advisor Tim got on the phone (despite being very busy) and called around until we could find a shop that could help you. He also made sure that transportation to the other shop was arranged and that they knew the urgency of the situation. Took my van in to be serviced. Told sway bars needed to be replaced. Waited 2 weeks for part. 2nd time they replaced sway bars and found the alternator and engine mount needed replacement. Took back 3rd time in a little over a month to have that done for a total of $1300.00+! Then my back axle breaks 11 days later! The axles on my yr, make and model have been recalled but not my vin? There is a TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETIN that covers vehicles with axle issues but only if FORD agrees to include my vehicle on the recall list! Two weeks later and I am still waiting for a decision. I was lucky that my axle did not break while going 70 to 80 on the interstate!! But how many other vehicles are out there with axles that could break too? Are you or someone you love driving on the road with one? Could the driver next to you have one? Why wasn't I told that there was an issue with axles in all of the times I have had it serviced? Never going to Long McCarther again! Never getting a Ford again!! Never

Stood on lot looking at new AND used cars THREE different times while they were open. Never acknowledged or greeted us. Plus they are charging FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS ABOVE THE STICKER PRICE of most trucks and SUV's. Ive bought from them before but never again if this nonsense continues?

We do currently have in stock new vehicles above the MSRP, and each is priced at the approximate value that they will sell for at auction. With the current shortage of vehicles, we would have sold out by April if we had left everything at MSRP or below. We are taking orders for new vehicles, and you can save thousands if you can wait a few months for an ordered vehicle. If you do choose to buy now, you will be surprisingly shocked at what your trade in is worth if you have one. Many people are getting more for their trade ins than they paid brand new 😀

Great dealership. My sales representative Jeff Hamilton was a real one. Negotiated the price of my vehicle, got 2 free oil changes for my vehicle and had some issues with the car door that he noted down for me to get fixed with no cost or hidden fee’s when I came back a month later to get it fixed. Definitely recommend walking in and asking for Jeff Hamilton if you are deciding to buy any vehicle from Long McArthur.

Staff is always real friendly and don't pressure you into buying something. Only down side is the Express Lane is always busy and hard to get same day appointment. The service department fixed my airbags & power steering recall along with giving me a free courtesy car. I would highly recommend this place.

Long-McArthur was great to work with for the recent purchase of my 2020 Ford F-150! We completely worked out a deal over the internet, with a couple brief calls, and Long-McArthur Ford made it the easiest, most pain free vehicle buying experience ever! The local dealers in Wichita didn’t have the specific vehicle I wanted, and kept “following up” for a sale, but were never willing to truly make a deal, or get the F-150 I wanted without me coming into the dealership. BOTH Wichita Ford dealers priced the truck I wanted above Ford’s “Build & Price” price on the internet, and both wanted to add features and sell me different engines than what I wanted. Long-McArthur had exactly what I wanted, didn’t ask a premium for it, and in fact gave me a very fair price below MSRP. Then on top of having a great price on the exact F-150 I wanted, Long-McArthur Ford delivered it to my home with a full tank of gas! Best buying experience ever! Long McArthur Ford hit a home run for me, and I’ll definitely buy from them again! (Darik Stithem is the excellent salesman I worked with for my F-150, very responsive, honest, and courteous.).

Although the people I've dealt with were nice, they seem to be marking up the prices for vehicles on their lots. I kind of understand the outrageous markups on Raptors, but why would you mark up a regular F150 just because someone wants to buy it off your lot? As I understand, they do not do markups if you order it from the factory, but most of the dealerships I've talked with don't do that as well, so what makes you different? So, long story short, beware of markups if you are planning on buying something off the lot.

On in stock units, we do price them based on market value. The MSRP is the manufacturers suggested retail price. Sometimes, the market price is above the suggested price. Usually, it it less. You’d think in a day and age where new cars are impossible to come by, and used trucks are more expensive than new, when someone reaches out to you multiple different ways, you’d return their call and take their money. Never quite seen a lack of communication like this before, could you imagine how much worse it gets if they actually had your money and you needed them for anything?

$30K dealer markup on a Raptor is thievery. THIS is exactly the type of thing that gives dealers, and Ford for not enforcing prices, a bad name. Shame on you for taking advantage of people because of a shortage, even though new car dealers are experiencing RECORD sales and profits! The same type of bs was happening with ammo/gun dealers during the "shortage" and I never bought from them again either. I hope that $30k makes up for all the customers you lost for being greedy. You claim that you price your Raptors "at or below market value". That's a polite way of saying "we tack on $30k, because people are willing to pay it". That's a 40% markup on these trucks. Imagine if I raised my tenants' rents 40% because rentals are scarce and the market allows it. There are dealers all over the country that choose not to gouge customers on vehicles. Guess you're not one of them.
If you are wanting a Raptor, please understand that we only get a few of them and price them at or below market, which is defined as the price we can sell the truck for wholesale on a dealer trade. Over 99% of trucks models ordered at Long McArthur are ordered with $0.00 mark up. We are one of the few large volume Ford truck dealerships in the country with $0.00 mark up.

On March 26th took my 2014 Ford van in to get the works package and told them to install windshield wipers they put wipers on they cost $28 and then charged .2 hours $11 to install. I called and ask about charging to install wipers which by the way these wipers are very cheap ones and charged me $28 for the wipers. Adam is who I spoke with first and he sent me to JD in the service department. JD was very rude and said that is what they charge to install wipers even if having service done. I voiced that that was not right and I will not be back for service. We have bought at least 12 vehicles from Long MacArthur and that is the way they treat their customers do not trust them they don't care about long time customers and treating them right.

I live out of town and drove to Salina this morning for a Dr's appt. My car was chugging and check engine light came on. I called Long MacArthur since I purchased the car from them. The young man I talked to thought it would be ok to drive it there. They would try and work me in. I showed up at 915. I asked the service guy if he could hook it up and tell me if it was ok for me to drive back to McPherson. He said he could try and work me in but it might be 4 to 6 hours before they could........really? You can't take a minute and tell me if it's okay to drive?Just hook it to the meter. I was by myself and so upset I left in tears. I drove less than a quarter mile to Conklin Cars. A Chevy Honda Toyota dealership. They owed me nothing. I walked into the service dept and the guy could tell I was visibly upset. I told him what was going on. He hooked his machine up. Told me the error code. Recommended I not drive it home. He charged me nothing. I thanked him. Drove to Kohls. Called a tow truck and had it towed back to McPherson. I will never do business with Long Mcarthur again.

Long McArthur made it worth our while to take the drive to Salina from Wichita. Our car salesman, Kyle Davis, was friendly and knowledgeable, answering all my questions. He even went the extra mile to return a belonging that I accidentally left in our trade-in. Alec was a delight to work with while closing the loan. Asked a tremendous amount of money to fix my vehicle's problem, so I declined repairs and was surprised with a $57 bill in the mail a month later. While they must be doing something right to stay in business, I can only expect they choose to deal with a small number of customers who are willing to pay substantially higher than normal prices. Update after response: Typically, payment is expected when services are rendered. Sending a bill weeks after the fact (and after I've taken my vehicle away) is not a good business practice. I wouldn't be annoyed by this if I were simply told I owed money at the time instead of being blindsided.

Staff was super kind and helpful plus they managed to fit us in immediately when our transit van conversion broke down just outside of town. The entire process was great up until the end. When they were test driving my van to make sure everything was working correctly they managed to lose one of my front wheel simulators (like a fancy hubcap) and refused to replace it or even refund me the price of the part. They claimed it was a $50 part and gave me part numbers to order it myself. Got to where I was going and looked up the part number and they gave me the wrong number. Turns out to replace the wheel simulator will cost me close to $200 not $50. I've called several times to talk to the head of the service department and each time I get a answering machine and never a call back. TLDR: stopped for repairs, they lost a part of my van while test driving it, refused to refund or replace the part they lost, no reply from dealership.

I drove 660 miles to buy my truck. It was the best experience I've had hands down. They don't bs you or try to sell you what you don't want. Very clean and friendly place. They make you feel welcome. The lack of customer care within the service department is extremely sad. 3 weeks ago I was told a part for my vehicle would be ordered and would come in in the next couple of days. 3wks later and no update I call and it came in yesterday. I have to have it scheduled with a recall that has been highlighted which will take 3-4hrs in the body shop. My time at the deanship (an hour away from home) is looking at 4-5 hrs not including staff lunch breaks. When I asked if there was a possibility of having a courtesy car, as my husband is deployed and I have elementary school age children to get to and from school the response was "well the whole country is having a problem and we just can't guarantee a car for you"! So I guess because of a Ford recall I have to wait in a dealership for over 5hrs! Makes no sense whatsoever. Thanks for not helping a military spouse out! I will take my business elsewhere once the work has been conducted.

Staff here is INCREDIBLE! My family and I were just passing through on our way to Illinois when I noticed my muffler hanging low on my Explorer. I called and talked to Scott, and even though they were absolutely swamped, he told me to come by. When we arrived, Scott dropped what he was doing and personally looked at my muffler. It wasn't something they could fix, but he pulled a tech from what he was doing to wire the muffler up so I could get back to Illinois! And he wouldn't take any money for it! We were out of there in half an hour. Cade and Justin were also a great help - the whole staff is incredible! HIGHLY recommend Long McArthur for anything you need! They'll treat you right - I can say that from experience! Thanks again fellas!

*Update* So the dealership called and has tried to make things right. We are happy to know they are still a decent company willing to work with us. We are still sad we feel we were lied to about certain things by our sales rep. But we are hoping maybe it was all just honest miscommunication. *original post* We have bought something from this dealership twice now. While we were happy with the vehicles we purchased we have not been happy with the dishonestly that went into both deals. My husband bought a car, a week after he got a call saying the bank wanted more info before they could work with him. This is not ok! because of the paperwork mixup his first payment was late. We decided to give them another try and went to trade our car in for a Flex. We made a deal with how the trade would go and started signing papers (this took 4 hrs plus we had a 3hr drive to get there). By the time we got to the last bit of paperwork we were exhausted (our two year old son was hungry and ready to go). My husband looks at the papers and it was not at all what we had agreed to (and had signed to agree on)they had agreed to give a certain amount for our car and were not keeping their deal. The payments were still within our budget and we had already switched everything over from our old car to the new one. We had spent the whole day at the dealership so we ended up buying the flex anyway. We aren’t very happy though knowing the way we were treated my husband feels so stupid and that’s not how these things should go. Lesson learned on our part we will reread everything twice even after signing to an agreement.

I emailed on a $70k GMC Denali that I was interested in and Alicia called me back. I asked if they were firm on the price and she beat it around the bush. So I asked again and with an attitude she says they just put it on the lot. Why have an attitude when someone asks if you are firm on your price? Must not need to sell! Not the person I would want representing my company. ✌️

This not your typical car dealership in any fashion. I was in the search for a Saleen mustang and ran across Long McArthur via the web . Form the very first phone call I could tell these people actually care and not trying to pressure you into a car .Being out of state was not a problem at all and was shocked how easy it was to get a deal done. These guys are top notch from the receptionist, salesman all the way to finance just a great group of people .
