There's a name that will probably sound familiar through most everyone who works at loan stream's voicemail system. This is someone we worked with closely who had an immediate need to be removed from his situation. After 2 months of back and forth, and finally having a closing day set, Loan Stream says On The Day Of Closing post CD the loan needs to go back in for further approval. - On the line is a lot of earnest money, and obviously a home for the buyer and his kids who have been looking forward to the change for a long while. * Lets recap, this client is in a very bad situation and wants out. We delay closing post Christmas and a full month+ past when it was supposed to close. Let me explain why this is insane. I'm a realtor, Team of 3 years and hundreds of homes sold. This is just for reference. The further approval that was needed was from an appraisal that mentioned smoke detectors possible missing, and one or two other things. * Firstly , Smoke detectors were there. So this is already absolutely absurd. * Secondly, My goodness. This was the day of closing. This couldn't have been done 3 weeks ago when the appraisal was ordered? All in all it looks like this house wont close with them period. If it does, I will update. But it wont. Most every loan doesn't close with this company. They just keep asking for more and more documents to just delay the file till people get so sick they physically and mentally can't go on.

As a mortgage broker, LoanStream has products that no other lender I work with has. They are responsive with underwriting and processing and my account rep, James Finch, is always there to help. Thank you Loan Stream, for helping my client get into a house, when no other lender could! Update to my original review. I had to quit loan stream as they simply don't care about their broker partners reputation. I had a loan cleared for closing 12 days before closing date and they still didn't have the closing documents or final figures until the day before closing. Steve Nagy from operations couldn't have cared less and basically blew me off when I asked to have a conversation with him.

We had a very short time frame and a very complicated loan on a 4plex. Everyone worked fast and efficiently and help get us to the finish line! Super impressed with everyone on the team!

Always helpful. Just funded Garcia loan in time Bertha & Tricia work day and night to get it done. We know they are shorthanded but these 2 push everything along so we were able to close on time. We have only been using them a short time but the rep has said DO NOT LOCK LESS THAN 30 so we were able to give the client a great rate. Every company now is busy but we appreciate the constant effort from these ladies.

I had very bad experience getting the loan from this lender. My house closing date has been pushed over and over again. It has been over a month now since original closing date and we still cannot get the funding. The team is very unresponsive and fail to deliver what they have committed. Their interest rate might be tempting but no where near worth the amount of disappointment, stress, and headache. I don’t recommend and will not be doing further business with LoanStream mortgage.

Cheryl and her team ROCK!!! Victoria is a true blessing too! Their knowledge and support in all areas proved to be a great asset in working through the necessary steps to successfully walk through the process with ease. Their honesty and guidance while working with my precious clients were key. I am very greatfull! I recommend LoanStream as they really push to get your clients loans funded.

I'm only giving 1 star because you can't give no stars. I sold a house to a couple that used LoanStream, it was a nightmare they are the worst company to work with. When I put my first review up, it was one star with a detailed review, the loan had not closed and the person working on it, Chris Penney, called my husband and said as long as my review was up he didn't feel motivated to close the loan. I changed the review to 5 stars and he still didn't get it closed until 2 weeks later. All together it took almost 3 months for them to fund the loan. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They are unprofessional and excuse after excuse.

Loan Stream really worked hard on taking great care of our client. A big Thank you to Justine on the Loan Stream team for always having such a great attitude and for going above and beyond in assisting me with everything and anything that she possibly can.

If you are a Broker: Don't do business with this company. Yes it seems they have competitive rates but they take sooooo long to work on a file. Account Executives don't answer calls or emails. I worked with LeAnn and it's hard to communicate. Unfortunately, I lost my client Ms. Torres. We waited 3 months and now that seems we were close to issue a CTC we can't even issue a CD. They loose your paperwork and conditions. Seems like the communication between their staff is lacking. Trust me you will loose your clients if you submit a loan with them. ....Also, I noticed they are similar reviews like mine. Just for the record no I'm not a former employee of this company.

If you're a broker and considering submitting your loans to Loan Stream on the broker channel, RUN. RUN FAST. Don't be fooled by their pricing on loan sifter. RUN. Easily the worst wholesale lender. Say goodbye to your referring partner relationships the second you submit a loan to them. Underwriter phone numbers are disconnected. They will charge your client lock extensions when they ghosted you for 3-4 weeks. The A/E will never respond. Lock desk will never respond. I had one file that had 4 different underwriters because all the underwriters quit. RUN.

I understand originating a loan is taking longer now more than ever given the backlog of deals but the service has been absolutely garbage. I've done many loans and know how they work but this place has the most uneducated, unprofessional, and unproductive workforce I've experienced in the last 8 years. Do yourself a favor and choose another route. Re: Response from Loanstream. This is false. My father and mother had a loan with you that just closed after 2 1/2 months. Many mistakes along the way. I reached back out to you over a week ago and still haven't heard. I'm here wasting my time trying to notify you of issues you have and improvements you can make to create a better process for your customers and here you are posting a generic comment against a really bad experience. Hope your future customers have a better experience but I'm not holding my breath.
